Kind of tough to sing it like the original when you're over 65....He has a FANTASTIC voice for his age. He sang with a 5 octave vocal range for almost 30 years. At some point the vocal chords won't allow that tremendous range. His singing voice is still very unique!
You are right, he HAS dropped most of these down a good bit but the voice does still sound as clear and as powerful as 20 years ago. Tone and volume are intact today.
ah, what a voice...doesn't get much better than this. Kudos on the video! When I saw him live last year security was nuts and I couldn't even get a picture! Gorgeous song, gorgeous voice...nice job.
I think Peter Cetera still has a great voice!!!! I remember seeing him with Chicago in San Diego, CA in early 1972, and the acoustics were so bad at the Sports Arena, but anyway, I love Chicago, and I am glad Peter is still making music!!! Get down, Pete!!!
Thanks so much for sharing! I love this song since I first heard it on "Meanwhile, Back @ the Ranch". I bought the album and all before and since! Aloha!
I've noticed that Pete likes to drop down many of his tunes nowadays. Guess the old pipes aren't what they used to be. This song is sung about 3 steps down.
that's because he's made it easier for himself. let's not forget the choir that helps him out a lot of the time. time to man up and sing it properly with Chicago me thinks

A number of times, they're in the same city (on in the vicinity) where Chicago was performing.
