- Into The Desert, an ErcoupeTV aviation travelogue series. Andrew's 1943 Stearman biplane and my Ercoupe depart on a long adventure across the US.
Departing Wendover, Utah, we head to Brigham City, UT. Another amazing journey flying over Utah scenery, the Bonneville salt flats, the Great Salt Lake and herds of wild animals.
Play List for this series: • Into The Desert - Avia...
1943 PT-13 Boeing Stearman, Lycoming R-680.
1948 Ercoupe 415-E, Continental O-200.

I loved to video
As always, my Friend… Outstanding!
Magical!
What a ton of gorgeous pictures!
The music made this video spectacularly beautiful
Beautiful shots especially on arrival and departure Wendover… just love this series
Appreciate the sunrise music greatly
Been to long since the last. Love them.
Very relaxing visuals of the earth's land forms with meditational music. Both planes add contrasting focus during the film.
🌏🤪
WOW that was amazing. I'll go back and watch that again. I'm sharing it too.
Love music and view flying over the salt flats. It's like being on another planet. And you better put sun screen up your noes and under your chin. The reflection off of the pure white salt is the real deal.
I used to rent a 172 at the FBO in Brigham back in the 90s. Fun to see the terrain! Next leg: the mountains!
Wow! Mesmerising. Might be the best film yet, nice one James. Thanks for the dose of sunshine from a wet springtime in Surrey :-)
Thank you, Steve!
My daughter lives in Brigham City. Up on a hill. Has a great view of the BMC airport.
Beautiful video James! I really enjoy seeing the US countryside from your videos. I watch a lot of flying content but I reckon your stuff is the best for the simple joy of seeing the scenery from the air. It's why I fly!
Thanks, Rod! That's very kind of you, glad you enjoy them. Next one coming soon!
What a stunning flight! Guess it was a live changing one..congratulations! even the spheric sound matches. In noon time might be very very bumpy due to thermals?.. thank you..
I'm glad you got down and stopped before the end of that very short runway at KBMC! 😄 That's a great airport
Yes, had to burn the brakes on that one! Not as big as Wendover though...
Beautiful flight. The Ercoupe next to the Stearman looks like a mosquito, but they are beautiful.
Thank you! It is a little mosquito next to the PT-13!
Days like that don't come along very often. Thanks for the ride.
Nice air to air shots!
That Stearman is a beauty!
Wow….James that was spectacular. Worth the wait. The video, the music, the flying. Could not be better. Thanks. Joe
Thank you, Joe! Was a challenge to edit this one for some reason.
@@JamesGood Well, it showed. The editing on this was award winning in my opinion.
That footage of flying over the salt flats was incredible! Like flying over some alien planet.
Thanks, Max! A lot of good memories from this trip.
James, this was one of your best! You fellas provided superior footage. Just the tonic for a rainy no fly Southern Ontario afternoon. Cheets
Usually Biplanes are considered small but something about the afternoon sun as you are refueling shows how much bigger than the Er-coupe the Stearman is.
Shows the difference in aviation technology (Newer Smaller Faster ...)
Wow, stunning scenery, dreamy music, perfect editing. Thanks James.
About time! Great job. It’s been 50+ years since I flew over any of that area. Thanks for the memories.
Well James, that was beautiful, with those surreal landscapes and the music to match! It must have been a great experience for you and your pal, thanks for sharing this adventure.
Very cool 😎 I just did my first cross country solo to Wendover from Skypark KBTF. So will now be even more special! Brigham City was my first solo too. 😊
13:00 truckers have something to watch. Heading into the rising sun be hard to see oncoming traffic without ADSB.
I agree one of your very best. The views & backgrounds from plane to plane were spectacular. You could get a job editing for the studios. Thank You.
This has been your best editing to date!! Love this adventure that you and Andrew are taking:)
THE ERCOUPE WITH A TURBO ENGINE & LARGER FOR FOUR PEOPLE WOULD BE GREAT !!!
haha, nooo! Turbos are complex, we need less things to go wrong. Maybe a Piper Turbo Arrow would be better? Also from the drawing board of Fred Weick.
Very interesting. My only comment is wondering why you didn't visit a barber shop before beginning. 🙄
It's a valid observation and question, I'll give you that. :) May I ask how you came across the video? I noticed a big bump in views today, and I don't know why.
Need chin strap for your hat! Lol
LBJ: if I do that then you can…“paint your asses white & run with the antelope.”
Didn't you camp with your wife behind those fences before?
We did. It's a great place to stop for the night, and cross the salt flats at day break.
