Is there something wrong with this unit? It SEEMS to be the best value because you can fit a 12 inch pizza in it and it has the wifi. What is so wrong with it that you decided to move on to another unit? You answering this question would help alot of people not have to return because of a serious problem that you may had with it. So whats wrong with it that you don't own it anymore?
I personally don't like ANY Air fryer oven, the heat comes from the top and trickles down so only the top rack gets 100% heat and u will have to rorate...that sucks
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG don't they all come from the top? I have cosori 5.8 qt heat comes from top of basket. but im bout to return it to buy this one, because i only use one rack anyway and want to fit a 12 inch pizza in it lol. I had a chefman 10qt but it died after 2 months twice, and it was not wide enough or deep enough for a pizza. So this unit you reviewed here looks like the one, when it comes to price and what you get. Also there is a INSTANT OMNI brand one, i wish someone would do a side by side to see which is better performer. If you ONLY use one rack im sure you get solid cooking? I never used multiple racks because of the bottom blocking the cooking distrubution of the heat, and also food dripping on top eachother i never understood that gimmick idea lol.
i bought this oven several weeks ago. I haven't used it until tonight. I tried some toast, but it only toasted one side. After watching this video I have discovered that I had not done it quite right. I'm so happy that I have found your channel. I'll be watching it from now on. Thank you!
Bought this 2 days ago! Love it! Definitely wrap bottom shelf in tin foil , also the broiler type shelf. ONLY negative is that it is hard to clean if you leave the food to dry on.

Like Cosori products. This one looks like a new and improved model of their convection oven minus the rotesserie and the heat coming up from the top instead of from the side.

Just got mine last night and still playing with it. I really like it so far. Thanks for the demo as that helped answer some of my questions before watching this video lol 🙌. Quick question, does the door handle seem to not be child/pet friendly? To me it seems not too difficult if child or pet decide to pull the handle and that is safety concern for me. I didn’t see any door “latch” feature on this oven so curious on your thoughts based on your past experience with this.

Hey Doug I purchased the Cosori Wifi Oven and when it arrived it was defective in that the Wifi didnt work. I have another one coming from Amazon this week. The standard Amazon return is 30 days, the Cosori Standard Warranty is 1 year but you can get an additional year if you register via the Vsych at and sign up for the FREE extended warrranty so you end up getting 2 years. I am curious about the FERMENTING function. I think you said it can make yogurt. Do you have any plans on showing us how to make bread and yogurt with it? That would be nice. And, it would great if you can do a dedicated video on using the Alexa/Google Assistance functionality. Like actually cook using those features. Thanks! Love your channel and the way you SHARE the food and give us first taste at the end!!
It’s a good price. A lot of the functions I would not use. I like that the fan is on top. I also like how they have the fan completely covered over. I have a DeLongi oven. It’s a convection oven though and not and air fry function, tho I have to wonder if convection and air fry is the same ???? I have done wings in my DeLongi and they came out crispy. I wish though that they would use a different air fry basket. These kinds are so much harder to clean with all the tiny squares. But i guess you can use parchment as long as you have it held down solidly. Thanks for the review. Anxious to see you air fry wings in it.
No convection is I believe is fast cooking and air fry is even cooking and even flow throughout the fryer. I could be wrong so you may need to look this up.
Air fryers are literally just convection ovens.
@@fredreed2001 Convection is even cooking because it circulates the heat around the entire oven. An airfyer is just a mini/fancy version of a convection oven.
I currently have a basket style air fryer, but whenever I decide to get a new one, I'm going with the oven style.
At what size point do these just become a regular oven?
Thanks for this review I’m going to get this and actually buy one next month I have a 4 quart ninja air fryer and it’s just not big enough for all of us I like to have something like this that also has the sheet pan in it versus just a basket that you pull out like a ninja 4 quart I’ll still use my ninja but I’m definitely getting this one thank you so much for sharing and giving us an in-depth detailed report on it
can you also set the time with the voice command? I have a blind brother and a oven that allows full voice control would be great for him. can the cooking methods like "air fry" be used with that function as well?

I just got mine the other day. Did the preheat like they say... stunk up the whole house, after I shut it off I hear a lot of noise and rattling.. sending it back for a replacement. So couple questions. Did you have any more problems with the smoke and why do you no longer own it? Thanks.

How big of a pizza can you cook in it? lol ... nice looking. I have an Oster oven, wish I saw this before I bought that. N/M looked up the size of pizza it cooks. I prefer something that will cook a larger pizza as mine does. But I LOVE the WiFi option on this, pretty cool I have to say. Thanks again for sharing this new cooking device, I may still get one.

I can't help wondering about the placement of the controls on top of the unit. It seems like that might subject the electronics to excessive heat thereby shortening the lifespan

I'm getting this as a free replacement for my 4.5 year old cosori air fryer that is being recalled. I hope it isn't a dust collecting, hard to clean, dirty box like my old toaster oven is.

I am so glad you did this video. I was trying to find a toaster oven and it brought this one up. I have the Oster XL French Door oven but because I live in assisted living I was told I had to get rid of it so I was trying to find something that I would actually be able to hide if I needed to and this one looks like it's smaller so it would be easier to hide plus it will do everything plus more than my Oster XL French Door oven does so I am excited to buy me one. Does it remember your changes you make to any of the presets? Also, will the app show when preheating, the actual real-time temp, and notify you when it's done cooking?
You can change the default settings easily for each function.

What are the inside dimensions of this oven? Amazon description is confusing. Is it wider (L > R) than it's depth (frt > bk)? I'm looking for some dehydrating trays that might work...b4 I actually buy this oven. Thanks!
It looks to me like it is wider than its depth in the interior (12.8" D 13.4" W). The exterior depth and width are almost equal at 16.3" D and 16.9" W.

Hi Doug, which Cosori oven do you prefer: CS100 or CS130? Also do you know the measurement of the interior height for both oven from top heat element to the bottom? I want an oven which has a taller interior height to bake cakes that will rise in height. Thanks!

I'm thinking of getting this model. I've heard that it is better to have the fan on top like this one so you can line the bottom with foil for easier clean-up. I have no idea whether that's true, but it sounds logical, lol. I was going to get a basic air fryer until I ran across this oven. I like that you can dehydrate and ferment. Would you say that this oven is just as good at air frying as an appliance that only air fries without the other options?

This or the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fryer Oven.... ?? Not sold on all the app controls. Just want a good, reliable combo oven. Doug, it's April 2022, which oven do you find yourself using the most? From my research it seems like the Cosori or Ninja are the highest rated. The Breville Smart Oven is over 3 years old and Williams Sonoma is still selling it at over $300 which seems kinda ridiculous in my opinion given it's age and other competition. Thoughts on that? Thanks !

Did it smell the first time you use it? I did use it without anything and it smell, i ran it for an hour.
Also I notice that only two of the four top heaters/burners actually heat up.

So are these just small convection ovens? Asking since a convection oven has a fan in it to blow the hot air around the food too cook it.

I wouldnt attempt to make a turkey in this machine...#1 it would gave to be pretty small(smaller than avg) and #2 you would have to flip it because the hot air is only coming from the top(like 99% of air fryers)
