- In this video I show you how to Install a Civic EP3 Steering wheel into a Civic EK Coupe. (Yes EM1 I know) this will be on my project budget build. Its very simple and basically a plug and play fitment! Im very happy i went with the sport wheel or EP2 one, as it keeps the honda coupe looking SI / VTI and not Type R. @@Dan_AYP there's a mob in America that sells steering wheel trim as well if you wanted to change the leather. I'm thinking about doing mine before putting it on too. Probably cost as much as your steering wheel though lol. Here's the link if you're intrested, you can get 12 o'clock markers too.

Yeah we didn't get an ep3 with cruise control here in the UK, or an em1 with cruise to my knowledge.. As most Ep3s here are type r's AC was even an option! My dad didn't get AC in his 😢 haha 👍😁

Hi, do you think a regular 7gen steering wheel will go on just like this? I know the vids like a year old but I found one for a great price and I'm unsure if it would be right.
I beleive the spline is the same but... dont quote me.. if its a good price, id buy it and you've always got the option to sell it if it doesn't fit

Did the horn work??? I got a 2000 civic with a b16a2 swap and someone put a the same steering wheel you just installed in it, but the damn horn wont work.
Yeah horn works perfect once I reattached the dn battery 😂👍

Hey Dan, I'm having a hard time finding those wheels over here in the states? Any chance you could pm me on where I can get one of those wheels? Most online euro used car parts don't ship overseas. I checked eBay and saw one their but wasn't really sure if it was the right one...had red stitching
Hey man, are they not the same as your civic si ep3 wheels? I thought they were? If not then in relation to who could supply one, I wouldn't know I'm afraid man, sorry but they're getting hard to come by recently... I don't knot why, but the red badge type r ones seem more common here in the UK
@@Dan_AYP the civic si ep3 wheels use a dual stage airbag. The 7th gen civic (96-00) use single stage I believe

@@Dan_AYP yea s2k does work your right about that..I kinda like the look of the one you got though but I'll probably roll with an s2k if I can't find one here for a reasonable price...on eBay I saw that they sell the airbag and wheel separately so I was curious if I could just buy the 2 stage UK ep2 airbag and bolt it on a usdm ep2 wheel..
Is this the same process for a honda del sol?
Sorry, im unsure if the delsol hub is the same spline count etc... I know the del is the same as dc2, eg6 and other older hondas though
