This episode brought me great memories of my childhood. My neighbor had one of those 60's F-250s and I thought it was the coolest truck in the world. Now something I didn't see in the video was one the F-250 crew cabs from the 70's. Man I want one of those so bad.
First "new" vehicle I bought was a '79 Ford pickup, 300 six, short wb, lots of chrome. Best little rig I ever owned. Cost $7,000. here in eastern Canada. Thanks for the show.
It is easy to forget that pick up trucks were simple, utilitarian tools. They were meant to haul stuff pretty much anywhere, on the road, on the farm or on the work site. Considerations of comfort placed a distant third behind utility and ruggedness. That the new trucks are better tools than their predecessors and can also be comfortable, stylish and status symbols as well is a tribute to the manufacturers efforts.
While watching this, all I'm thinking about is what the 2015 Toyota Tacoma is going to look like and what engines they'll put in it... haha, not sure if thats a bad thing
I have got a 89 model ford f 150 truck 4x4 model every time I have filled the fuel tank the Guage reads full then I start to motor and the Guage drops to the second line behind full can anyone help me is it a factory fault
Thanks for comment but you don't get it at all. Ford is introducing the new F-150 on Monday. It is the best selling vehicle in America for the last 30-years as Roman stated in this video. That's why we published this historical look at the F-150.
Thanks for the tour. Bought my first new truck in 1972 and maybe its old age but I liked the older ones a lot more than the current bunch and that includes my 12 F150 Max Tow Ecoboost. Did some car lot browsing today. A F450 Lariat crew cab had a Factory MSRP of $72,355. The Fast Lane Truck
My Dad was smarter...lol..He owned a Chevy, Ford and Dodge...We've had the best luck with our Chevys....and Dad owned a 70's Ford with a 360 v8 that couldn't pull the hat off yer head. But anyhow, was a great video and it was neat to see some ol boat anchors. lol.

Its amazing just how far pickups have come and will continue to go.

This is so beautiful.
Excelent only one thing better than a brand new Ford Pick Up and thats a cool classic Ford Pick Up. Awsome episode guys
What a great episode.
Rode from California to Indiana in 1970 on Route 66 with my Dad in his 1950 Ford F2.
Thats one beautiful truck
It's pretty cool seeing some of my truck's ancestors. Mine is a 2009 F-150, one of the very early versions of the 12th gen.
What a treat.
Love Ford Trucks!

I don't forget and I wish that were still an option today. Imagine being able to afford to buy a vehicle.
Nice to see the old iron. Not Dad, but my uncle had the vermillion blue Ford. His was a 1982. He put well over 300,000 on that thing.
No 92-96 trucks? They're the last generation of the classic F-Series trucks
97 are 2003 are still good
I would love to go there and see them trucks
Great video Roman. I'd love to have that High Body truck but I'll settle for my 2013 F-150 FX4.
i have a 86 ford f150 stepside. it has 63k miles, origional paint with barely any rust
well Henry Ford accomplished his goal
He surely did
I loved the 1986 f150
You forgot the most popular f100 , the 1956 big window custom cab...
wrong interior cab on that '86
Extremely wrong. lol
it looks like they used the wrong interior shot, maybe from that blue f100
Shows a cab from the 18th century

Theres an abandoned 51-52 Ford F100 in my backyard. Anything but the cab is beyond gone and you can only get it out by crane
What about the 3rd gen 1957 to 1960 trucks??
I have got a 89 model ford f 150 truck 4x4 model every time I have filled the fuel tank the Guage reads full then I start to motor and the Guage drops to the second line behind full can anyone help me is it a factory fault
bought a new 89 they had recalls on gauges intake gasckets rear main oil seals and defects in paint
1953 to 1956 f100 forever
Nice
I have a 1948F3
High boys were unique
Shouldn't that intro have said, "Going back to the F-1," not "Going back to the F-100?" Also, that was not the correct interior for the F-1.
My father never owned a truck as new as a 1996 😄😄
Cool
For gods sake use more than one audio clip on repeat for the music!
You really love your new truck we get it. Move on plz...
