Jammer dat de Afrikaanse muziek en liedjes niet of zeer zelden tot inVlaanderen en Nederland doordringen. Dit is echt een ontdekking voor mij!

'n Vriendin het sy CD een dag met 'n briefie na my klas gestuur. Daardie middag het ek heel pad huistoe gehuil. Jo Black se musiek praat met 'n mens se hart, dit maak mens weer posetief.. dit maak jou geloof STERKER! Ek is dankbaar vir die boodskappe wat ek in sy musiek ontvang het en dat dit my weer voor Jesus se voete neer gedwing het! Dankie Jo Black!
I can't believe I finally found you. Two months ago I visited Johannesburg airport (JNB), after a long flight from Israel. I then saw a bunch of heavily bearded guys carrying music instruments. I even heard some girls say "Omg it's them! In the airport!", and in that moment I knew I just have to find out who they are. So, I googled the first thing that came in my mind - "South African bearded musician", and after two minutes of looking in the results I finally found Jo black. Later on I found his instagram account, and found the rest of the bearded guys I saw in the airport.
Man, the power of the internet, combined with the fact you've got the most impressing beard I have ever seen in my life, brought me to you - and now I can enjoy original South African music in Afrikaans, without understanding a word.
