Hello! I am an Altra fan, I have been using it for years, and the zero drop worked miracles with my knee pain and my plantar fasciitis. Do you think that a 4 mm raise will really have an impact on the body? I am not a runner, I just walk a lot, and occasionally, I hike on a moderate level. Thanks. Greetings from Belgium! Roxana
A 4 mm drop....and people go nuts. Ha. Kinda silly :) I've really enjoyed Altras. It's been my go-to for most of the last 8 years. I like zero drop...but there's also times when I want a higher drop. It's all good. Whether you want drop or not, they've got you covered.
It will help them stay in business. I wasn't thrilled about the change but as long as they keep most models as zero drop and get more people into the brand I'm happy.
I wear Altra because of my wide foot. I own some Hoka's in wide as well. I cannot understand the drop. What's the difference? It all feels the same to me.
Disc golf, yeah! 🥏❤️
I have a couple of Experience models and they make an excellent complement to the legacy units I have. Love them all. 👍🏻

Via fwrd same firm as via olympus 1 and 2?
I saw that the Rivera is being discontinued next year. Anything to replace it? No somewhat lightweight mid cushion zero drop just doesn't seem right.

Alta is footshape ( not anymore in all shoes though), hoka still narrow in toebox even in 2e
If you wore a Nike on one foot and a zero drop altra on the other you would feel the difference. Your heel is much higher in the Nike
