This doesn't have a list of places to explore but an immersive experience of just doing a beautiful snow hike only to end up in a magical place, cooking food in the middle of nowhere and having the best time of our lives! Next time someone says Kashmir is unsafe, please show them this video. Two single girls going out on an unknown trek with complete strangers, yet they made them feel so safe and comfortable and showed them their hospitality. Truly amazing.

Had been to Yousmarg when we visited Kashmir in April 2014...it was unexplored then...we were only a grp of 10 people on horseback....and as you said it was a bit scary too. After that I hv been telling everyone who goes to Kashmir to visit Yousmarg.

Hello, I'm from France ! Nice video, and I hope I will go to this Kashmir place one day. Also do you realize, Yusmarg was the last place where "Eshe or Isha (Jesus)" had lived until his last day ! He was buried on Dhal lake shore, and a very large people were here for the ceremony. He was known as "Yuz Asaf" : the peace maker". You can find these informations in "The secret book of Jeshua" by Daniel Meurois - edition - "Le Passe-Monde". Absolutly stunning to reading !

Inspired by this video and reviews I actually went there. Yusmarg is a beautiful place. Unfortunately, the same is not true for the homestay. Very mediocre stay. Not worth the money for the experience, food or stay. The picnic was arranged at a place where one was surrounded by horse shit. The host talks about tribe as though it is some cult. Honestly, I felt judged. One can easily do a day trip from Srinagar to Yusmarg and skip this homestay altogether.
