Great channel, and great advice. Thank you.
Thanks! I'm glad you found it useful.
So i have been playing with a group for over a year now, and one of our players is effectively blind. we recently started using dnd beyond's map tools to project onto a tv and help make maps and things bigger for him. He still struggles with character sheets and dice rolling. any cool tech or advice for playing with blind players?
Hey Curtis, that's awesome that you're making adjustments for your visually impaired player! For dice rolling, voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant can roll dice with simple commands like 'Alexa, roll a D20,' which is super handy. For character sheets, consider apps like OrcPub or screen reader-friendly PDF versions of sheets that work with tools like JAWS or NVDA. There’s also an app called DiceWorld that offers audio-based dice rolling and works great for blind players. Keep being an awesome DM and making your table inclusive!
We need less AI slop content
Agree, fellow human. That's why I offer this AI Stew! Glad you enjoyed!
3D printers are quite inexpensive these days and allow you to effectively print low-cost minis. Good idea on using Cardboard to create terrain features and structures. I am home-brewing a campaign in a Cursed Mansion/Hotel and have enough Amazon boxes to create each floor!
Sounds like you're building a great world!
Please don't use AI art
Why not, fellow human? Should I stop using computers? Electricity? Where should I stop?!
The script and voices are ai too, the whole thing is ai. Look up ElevenLabs
you didn't notice the AI voices? Even the response looks like it was fed through some generator, this whole channel is AI
Wait, are you Anti-AI bots spamming this channel? I'm so confused right now, fellow human.
