Cale Makar dropped slightly because of concerns around the level of competition he was playing against. Seems he turned out to be pretty good.
I realized after my comment that I should've put 4.5, but I agree that it'll be right at four in the top 10

What do you think will be the biggest draft surprises? I'll go out on a limb - Beckett Sennecke gets drafted ahead of Cayden Lindstrom
he could even get drafted ahead of demidov even, which is nuts. anaheim and columbus are really high on him.
@@ChristianYogendran the must be high if they want him that early. if they wanna make a colossal fuckup, they can go ahead. both of them outclass sennecke in talent by a significant margin. that just means one or both of demidov/lindstrom is available at 5. sennecke is a guy who should probably go 15-20. but he will go higher.
Beckett Senenecke has some very unique attributes. If he hits he could be the best player in this draft.

How do you know so much about potential draft picks? Pretty amazing.
If Demidov's interviews were decent he will be picked by Montreal at 5 if he is available.
I can see Montreal trading their first round pick and Josh Anderson for Calgary's first and 2nd round picks if the forwards Montreal are targeting are selected. I think Lindstrom's back issue will scare Montreal off selecting him.
Beckett Sennecke is a top five player all day in my books. Wouldn’t complain if he slipped to my team tho
As a sens fan we will 100% be picking a dman I can feel it I can see us picking Dickinson or Parekh. Tbh I feel like we will be picking one of those two I feel like Dickinson will be our guy though based on how good the interview went apparently with us and how much he’d actually want to be here with it being close to home and somewhere he actually enjoys being.

Teams are going to keep passing on Eisermann. He's going to go to a team that has enough talent to insulate him and he's going to flip the script and score an ass ton of goals in his rookie season.

1. i have eiserman going at exactly 10.
2. i think demidov is gone by 5. if he's not, he'll be gone by 6. if demidov is available at 5, that means lindstrom is off the board, and aside for mack at 1, i can't see any other forward the habs take ahead of demidov. that includes iggy. and we're not taking a dman. not only do we have more than enough, but the forwards available there are better imo.
3. AK goes in the 2nd round. san jose, seattle, utah, or chicago.
4. dickinson goes 6, 8, 9, 12, or 13. i'd say 9 if iginla's off the board, 12 if he isn't.7 and 11 are out for me, i think those are parekh and yakemchuk, because both teams need RD in a bad way. and 10's out because i think NJ takes eiserman. even if not, they're likely to take a forward like catton or helenius before they take a dman.
5. silayev at 3, 4, or 6. i think the ducks take levshunov if he's available, so if he's not, i can see them doing this. columbus could probably use a defender like this, but they could use lindstrom or demidov too. at least one will be available. i don't see the habs not taking a forward, but this is exactly the kind of guy utah likes. he and simashev would be an intimidating pair on the blueline.
6. i have solberg at 16 to the blues. something about this seems exactly the right fit to me.
7. catton is a top 5 forward in this draft. if my habs took him at 5 in this draft i would not be upset. he plays a smart game and is very talented. but because he's 5'11, a lot of the game's dinosaurs won't give him a look. here are some players he's taller than: connor bedard, quinn hughes, nikita kucherov. i don't think he lasts past philly. maybe the flames take him if iggy's off the board.
8. there's usually not 4 or more, under.
9. over, i think there's 5.
10. i don't see sennecke in the top 10 at all. if he's before catton, that GM should lose his job. second line upside.
11. 4 or 5 for lindstrom. about an equal chance either way, but he's not there at 6.

Eiserman > Over 10th, expect him to go #12-#16. One dimensional. If he can improve his defense substantially and improve his passing, could be a steal.
Demidov: @ or under #5.
Kiviharju: no Clue
Dickenson: Over 5th, would guess #6 - #9.
Silayev: Over #4 unless the Ducks pick him. Big, defensive. Will be great to pair with Zellweger or Mintyukov. The little ball of hate loves size and physicality.
Solberg: Under 20th.
Ignla: Over 8.5,
Cartton: Under #10, would take him over Iginla and Eiserman.
Gonna be a fun draft, gonna be a a lot of surprises.

Kiviharju - Over
Dickinson - Over, barely (because the three teams ahead of them already have loads of LDs)
Silayev - Over... maybe (see Dickinson)
Solberg - Hmm, probably a little under.
Iginla - Ooh, tough one. Probably just under.
Catton - Under
Trades - Honestly, probably under, but could go either way.
Dmen in top 10 - Over
Sennecke - Too close to call. Could go anywhere from 5 to 15.
Lindstrom - I'm thinking exactly #4.
Alfons Freij over or under pick 24.5
Sennecke will go top 10. I have him ranked as the 13th best prospect, but there is some chatter that some teams in the top 10 (anaheim, columbus, montreal, utah to be exact) really love him cause of his insane growth spurt. He went from 5'11" to 6'2" in a matter of days, and since like you said in the video, GMs overthink size.
Breakdown of Sennecke's game:
Pros: Hockey IQ, Puck Handling, Size, Skating, Effort
Cons: Defensive Consistency
Player Comparable: Matthew Boldy
if hughes takes him at 5 i'll go to montreal and slap him.
He has scary better hands than Boldy to me a Jason Robertson comparison is way more accurate

That would be incredibly stupid. If they were trading Will Smith alone to get into a position to take Dickinson, the other team is sending an additional asset.
habs will do it. we'll take will smith and the 14 off your hands. then we can take sennecke there, or maybe helenius. and grier gets his ass fired for doing something so stupid.

It’s just something that’s used for sports betting, so there can’t be a tie. Over 8.5 means 9+ and under would mean 8 and below
