To be fair, those are likely just low-level shift managers, and they have no authority to address the issue. That said, the fact a dead rodent was found makes me think the issue was being addressed…

Thank you Troy for exposing this problem. You could've easily ignored it like your manager by continuing to serve patrons this disgusting trash. Matter fact I would love to see you in a management position. Find opportunity where others uphold integrity such as yourself.
@R L in situations like this where it's a franchise and one of multiple restaurants owned by a restaurant group, issues like this more than likely aren't going to make it to upper management or the owners. They have district managers, store managers, shift leaders in place to handle the day to day. If those people don't care or don't say anything to whoever's above them, nobody's the wiser. It's sad to think that the employees (with the exception of this guy) don't care about public health enough to report the issue, and that they were okay with a working environment that had rats and roaches walking around. I'm not making excuses for them because this is unacceptable to not speak up and try to get this fixed, but times are hard right now. Maybe they were afraid the restaurant would have to close for a couple days for fumigation/ pest treatment and they'd lose out on pay? Not logical thinking but maybe the case? 🤔Either that or they're all just nasty! Lol
It's about responsibility to others especially with your patrons. I never give anybody any food that I wouldn't eat myself. Because if somebody got sick because I didn't really care that there were cockroaches and mice and mice and rats I'm responsible for the face of God one day!
