Bathroom is often the first sign. While it's possible that kitchen is very dirty with a clean bathroom, but the chance is low that kitchen is clean while bathroom is dirty. The fact is that if a business is willing to put in work and effort into maintaining sanitation in the bathroom, it's more likely the business is willing to clean the kitchen. It's like an employee can't show up to work on time but always mange to leave before everyone shows some hints, not always true, but likely true. Based on what I have seen so far, it's mostly true.
What sucks for them is that they are in a building with a lot of other businesses. They usually have shared spaces like an attic that the rodents can go back and forth to other units. Obviously, the rodents are attracted to food. But is it really the restaurant’s fault or that of the building owner? The restaurant is just renting the space.

I remember I got super pissed off managing a restaurant where we had a exterminator come in every 3 days because we had a roach problem turns out it wasn’t us who were the problem it was the restaurant next door who never had a exterminator where the inspectors came in and shut that business down than eventually they sold that business and I went to go look into that suite where it was infested with roaches so I had to call the landlord to do something about it since that room is no longer occupied by any tenants and I’m like wow they really couldn’t pay 90-300 for exterminator… I wonder how they live like at home .. yuck …

Honestly, I'm not even mad at these restaurants. I'm mad at the knuckleheads who keep them open by continuing to eat there. There's no way a place with *31 violations* in a single inspection isn't making customers violently ill on a regular basis. I've seen some news crews stop customers/community members and when presented with the health code violations reports, feign concern or disgust, but ultimately admit would eat there again. I mean, Chipotle was repeatedly serving y'all e.coli and had multiple locations across the country shut down, but they're still in business. I stopped eating there at the 1st national headlines of closures and never looked back. How many of y'all still throw money at them and cross your fingers that you won't get a side of norovirus with your streak burrito bowl🤨 Fact is, most people ultimately don't care if it's their fav eatery. They'll play roulette with the gut bubblies just to avoid cooking at home🙄🤷🏾♀️

That Donna's in Miami Gardens is one of the worst restaurants in Miami Dade.
You really think think the building owner care, they just interest is just getting their monthly rent
I feel bad for the cat 🥺 it’s just doing its job!
Everytime mt friends say I'm going to go get food from donnas...I decline because it's disgusting there
They put up restaurants and give it a familiar name so they can take our dollars
A friend of mine tried to get me to go there she told me it was nasty 🤢
Please someone tell me why ask me to dine in nasty
I cook my own or I go to my people house
Sounds like a Geico advertisement. "This is awful, you should try it."
That screen door alone . 😂
Unnnnnnn!!! Im glad i cook my own food
🤮🤢
The first has rats and the second one has roaches. Eww. 😨😰😱😷🤒🤕🤢🤮😬
Some restaurants owners are frugal as heck I’ve worked in the restaurant business for 20 years it only cost 90 dollars for a exterminator to come in once every week or 2 weeks that’s not expensive at all . I remember I got super pissed off managing a restaurant where we had a exterminator come in every 3 days because we had a roach problem turns out it wasn’t us who were the problem it was the restaurant next door who never had a exterminator where the inspectors came in and shut that business down than eventually they sold that business and I went to go look into that suite where it was infested with roaches so I had to call the landlord to do something about it since that room is no longer occupied by any tenants and I’m like wow they really couldn’t pay 90-300 for exterminator… I wonder how they live like at home .. yuck …
Why don't he check McDonald's. The smoothie machine cannot be cleaned. Do you know how many roaches you ate in your smoothie and did not know.
Y'all sure they wasn't cooking cats? Sometimes the General Tso's just don't quite taste right at different Chinese restaurants.
Stop being ignorant.
General meow chicken. Chickitie China the Chinese chicken.
They probably was cooking cats you never now
Chinese restaurants dirty in the uk too 🤢
Most Chinese restaurants are filthy they don't spend much time cleaning that isfor sure. unless you see Chinese customers ,don't you go there. Donnas' food areas are filthy also and the workers are not people friendly .I will not eat from there.
Eat @ your own risk. Supermarkets Restaurants don't pick from the bottom shelf.
Somehow it’s usually clean reinspect and reopen…in a matter of days BOL!😂Most em in denial it may just keep going smh
Thanks for the info! If I ever visit Miami dade county, I’ll know where NOT! to eat😂😂
Having worked in many food place almost everywhere y’all eat got roaches 😂
Fun fact - in food processing & manufacturing plant, FDA allows a certain percentage of rodents & insects to be in the food. I think it's under 10%.
Lol no racial: Chinese people are smart af lol they know how to shoo you away without conversation ; intentionally speaking broken sentences but you see when the reporter was like “this is really bad” the restaurant guy fixed his accent to acknowledge him saying “I know” 😅
Honestly, I'm not even mad at these restaurants.
How many of y'all still throw money at them and cross your fingers that you won't get a side of norovirus with your streak burrito bowl🤨
Fact is, most people ultimately don't care if it's their fav eatery. They'll play roulette with the gut bubblies just to avoid cooking at home🙄🤷🏾♀️
The problem. Alot of folks are renting. And there is property or building issue. From the city sewers giving rats access, to storm drains and rodent tunnels under the property. While i get the issue. Its harder to fix than one thinks. And the environment , locality is also part of the issue
You should change the thumbnail to this video. It appears as if you’re saying Donna’s has a cat in their restaurant. Even though their restaurant is disgusting as well. Thumbnail the actual restaurant or just your news sign
IF I lived there or visited thereI WOULD NEVER bop there on account of HOW many times they had issues wit 🐀...THAT'S NASTY brah...TRUE story wit NO lie attached...😑
Go get your curry roach Ya Mon
I appreciate the reporting.... but.. they gonna come across a crazy. His tone, i couldn't.. sir GTF.... b4 u be the 15th person i call a crash dummy on to tail ya azz outta here and... ruin ya day. 🙄 his tone comes accross sarcatic or condescending...
anyones thats ever even visited FL knows there are palmeto bugs that look like roachs and rodents everywhere, snakes too, not sure they can get a grip on the mice or bug problem in a strip mall where the rodents and bugs can move from unit to unit in the attached attics
Tomato tomatoh. Lol. Only people with roaches that don't want to admit that they have roaches call them palmetto bugs. 🤣 Regardless of what name you want to give it, none of them belong in a kitchen. 🤢
This is why when I go to Third World countries, I only eat at the resort
Before I clicked the video,I thought they were feeding people cat meat lol
I would never eat at a Chinese restaurant.
They had a 🐱 in the Chinese restaurant to "catch mice".........Really?! 😂😂😂😂😂
These restaurants restaurants make you not want to eat out or eat anything at a restaurant this is horrible. I’m so sorry for the city in town.
Omg ! Another Chinese food restaurant again smh
One time when in Key West, I noticed a dog in the kitchen at a very popular place. When I pointed it out to waitress, she said oh he's in there after the cat🤣
All owners are foreigners. Filth may be something they are used to and comfortable with.
This is exactly why I don’t buy at mom and pop Chinese restaurants. I go to panda and that’s it.
The fact that the headline read " keep" letting the cat in 😮. Lawd 😱 this is tragic 😔😭. Cook at home y'all.
Aint nothing like home cooking...if you want to cut back on your rodent exposure eat at home.
If you went in any restaurants kitchen you probably would stop eating out!😂
How come chinese restaurants ALWAYS have the back door open?
At work if we know someone has a cat we won’t eat their homemade food.
Cats 🐈 Climb on counters and tables.
Dirty Dining with Dirty Diana tonight at 9 👍😎👍
Inspectors need to shut it down that's it.
So that means that WHOLE BUILD IS Infected 😂😂😂
Should we not be concerned about the owner of the building? Maybe they are at fault if more than one restaurant in the same stripmall is infested with rodents. Maybe even the construction company is more at fault. I don't know... Just asking.
This is true. If your neighbors have roaches so will you
3:06 _I don't know, I don't know. Sorry English little bit, sorry ehee_
The cat keeps the rodents out…
Chinese restaurants work by chinese standards not US food safety laws.
You never know which meat you are eating.
You’re right about that
😂😂😂 I bet people still eat there
yep!! i gave up chinese food about 5 years ago!! never again!! ya never know what your eating
I want to say great job I'm of a different township and won't eat there.😅😅😅
