They could only have made Makundan lay down and run the back wheel of the tractor over Makundans hind leg. The pappans had an ego problem because Makundan would not give up. He wanted to go back to the forest. But no he never went back. Some years later Makundan tried to get away when he was out at a festival he killed his Pappan. The mahouts at Punnathakotta often beat him till he was bruised with swollen bashed eyes and injuries. The pappans took revenge and gathered together at the camp and tied Makundan and beat him very cruelly made him lay down and run over his hind legs with the Punnathakotta kotto tractor it was the back wheel of the tractor that the pappans used to break his leg with the tractor when he was laying down during a beating. The pappans took revenge and crippled him for life. They destroyed his ability to ever walk again.. Makundan arrived as a 5 or 6 year old and existed chained and beaten as a cripple. It is said he was never taken for not even a 5
minute walk for 20 years. The pappans got their revenge on the animal because he had a mind of his own and the pappans could not stand that. They chopped off half his tail too. Recently Guruveyoor Devaswom was taken to court and they lied in court about most of what happened to him. The judge bought the lies and judged in favour of the Devaswom. I have photos of him through out his life. The judge was not told the truth or was paid. They lied about his age and they said they did not know how his leg injury happened. But they knew. The pappans of Punnathakotta tortured Makundan as a baby and never stopped the cruel torture. I have photos.
