    Thanks for leaving in the wrong layer coloring - happens way too often to me. - In your case I noticed it, when you hit the line and the line color changed completely (not just a few pixels around the edges).

      Hahahaha! Thanks for appreciating that- I figured it would piss off some people for wasting time, but I really thought that others could relate! Glad to see you fell into the second group!

    I think this was a fab video! Errors and all- just like the rest of us. No worries. Love it. I loved how you showed the heavier weight to the lower eyebrow which then implies 3D form. I knew line weight was important, but you illustrated it perfectly for me, so thanks.

    Another amazing video !!!
    I started drawing only a few days ago - thanks to your channel (and a few others) - I already have several notebooks full of my attempts. I know I'm just at the beginning, but I can see progress now and I wouldn't believe what I can draw after a week of training. Thank you soooo much !!!

    Thanks for another great walk-thru of creating this kind of art! So helpful and such an inspiration.
    PS - I *always* add color to the wrong layer (grumble).

    do you think is worth it to invest in procreate, a table and a digital pen? i have the Wacom Cintiq 12wx from 2009. Its heavy, have a lot of cables to connect and it feels its on life support 😂. Through the years i used it rarely because how uncomfortable its to set up. however, on this video you looks very comfortable and drawing digitally looks fun.

    Loving you videos! Just getting into drawing and wondering if your rough sketches are available? I'd love to trace those and get used to my pen, especially following along with you on how you ink and dial your lines. Thanks and keep them coming!

    @BeeJayDel Thanks for the fun video. One question: I always see you dropping the opacity of a (sketch) layer through the settings on the left. What’s the difference with doing that on the layer itself on the right?

    • @BeeJayDeL
      @BeeJayDeL  4 роки тому

      No difference...two different ways to do the same thing.

    I’m new to Procreate. What setting do you have on your pen strokes that is sort of “smoothing out” your lines? Or is that a feature of the specific inking brush that you selected? In Affinity Designer I believe it is called Stabilizer.

    • @seangarland
      @seangarland 4 роки тому +1

      Never mind! Just watched your “Let’s Draw” video on Baby Dragon, where you show that this is the “Streamline” feature in the brush Stroke Properties.
