The thing about Envi he make fun of people that spend money in genshin. But when somebody make fun of him for being f2p he exploded. Like bro, why start a fire when you cant even take the heat?

He would've been fine if he was like, "I'm f2p, play how you wanna play, it is what it is." If Tectone makes fun of him, Envi would've been fine imo.

I hate when people split things into black and white, but what I like about Tectone is that his internet persona is completely grey. I personally wouldn't agree with some things he does or says, but I also think he did the right thing in many situations.

Its easy to hate EggTone but all these CCs never even took a look at themselves, they failed to see that they themselves are part of the problem and just riding the hate train to project everything on EggTone since its easy to blame it on him.
The internet turning on Envi was just a total curveball, he never expected the hate to turn his way. Instead of making Teccy look very bad he put all the attention on his butthurt ego. If he really is suffering from anxiety and his so called PTSD he should seek professional help. He never owned up to his own actions and that's why his comments section is out of control. A simple apology would've sufficed but now his community is burning it down you cannot go a line of comment without a mint word in it.
I've been married for almost 20 years. Have had good, bad, ugly, and mental breakdown moments. It's never perfect.

worst part about that clip is the context. apparently tectone literally just caught fream in the act of cuddling/cheating with his editor right before the car ride. he didnt want to randomly just end stream but fream was still going "awww i love him" when she was asked "how does she deal with tectone" on stream. that was hell. i cant imagine how that felt for tectone.

Married for 8 years. There are days definitely where it's bad. We always come back and talk about it - and it's never in the public eye because that's embarrassing and disrespectful to each other. So Tectone and Phream having their big argument live made me feel awful, because I would never wish the arguments I've had with my wife ever get released in public like that.

when I saw that clip that Envi posted in his thread (granted I didnt watch all of it) without context. My mind went to playful banter and poking fun. That is extremely common in long-term relationships. I can't remember the last time my partner didn't poke fun at me for a whole day. It's borderline a requirement in a long-term relationship. You're going to have playful banter in your relationship. That's just the nature of it. I think you're right in saying that the people saying that have never been in a long term relationship, before.

In the context of the day it was released and all that it inspired, it is not mid though and I think we should consider and acknowledge this. For a lot of people it was their childhood and nostalgia plays a big part, but in terms of the first three films, there wasn't anything like it at the time.

Yeah, I mostly agree, especially with your main point that everybody is accountable for their own actions. I also agree that gacha is gambling. I just disagree that you get absolutely nothing in return, unless, you're saying all entertainment is a waste of time and money(which is kind of based if so)
"in gacha...you don't own ___". you could say that about any online game or any form of entertainment for that matter. Servers could get hacked, and data wiped not to mention it's all pixels anyways. You go to the movies, or sub to netflix, you don't really "own" the experience, you just pay some money, and you experience it. Sure, it's stored in your memory but you can't trade that memory/experience for anything in the real world like you can with money which makes it different.
I don't like him. It's that simple for me.
Not because of some great, moral reason, because he did anything wrong in specific, because I have the best opinion on how much of an outstanding citizen he isn't or is, or something else with some sort of "value". I wouldn't even entertain saying either that my dislike disminishes the good parts of him, or any of the good he has done (which I know little about).

Honestly, I haven't even watched the full clip, but from the little bit I've seen of it, it's pretty clear at that point that the two of them were starting to fucking hate each other. It was definitely best for them to get divorced.
If you're referring to the car video then it was actually entirely justified on Tectone's part...people just weren't given the context as to why until much later.
Shortly before that little car trip happened Tectone pretty much found his ex wife cheating on him, something he kept hidden to protect her despite the fact that she has falsely accussed him of the same and despite what she has done to him.

Don't forget that clip is cut out of context with the sole purpose of targeting his personal life with the attempt to character assassinate or damaged his reputation. But if u watched the full clip, you would know that is how he usually talks on stream all the time, he likes to brag about how great he is on stream, so I would like people to point out what exactly did he say to his wife on that clip that is so bad or "how he treated her" when we don't know anything about their dynamic, to me it looks like a normal couple argument that are having marital issues and are at odds with one another. Is it not common for a married couple or couples to have arguments like this about who does what in a relationship or marriage ?? 🤔
They were clearly in a very rough spot and time in their life during that period, they were growing apart, having money problems, and poor communication between them like what Tectone told her in that clip. It was a heated discussion of who did what for their marriage. It is actually healthy and normal for couples to fight, u can go search it up, it is important to address or call out issues in a relationship, it was bound to happen when you live or spend a considerable amount of time with another person.
Please I would like people to explain to me how that clip is so triggering that it would make you hate Tectone, I would like to know. Yes i agree that the clip was uncomfortable to watch because they were clearly having marital issues and Tectone was being confrontational about it during a livestream or a subathon at that time, BUT how did people came to that conclusion about how he treated his wife from that one clip ? How does it prove anything about Tectone ? Don't forget his ex-wife tweeted very positive things about him after their divorce, but nobody seems to care or want to highlight it ? They disregard anything positive about him and just hone in on that one out of context clip that paints him in a bad light.
If people say "oh Tectone was being overly annoying and emotional at his wife in that clip, he brags too much and is so full of himself" I am like okay ?? He is like that on stream too.
He might have an ego but is he wrong about what he said about his wife ?? What if his wife did have communication issues ? There are other streamer couples that fight constantly on stream, if you know Nmplol and Malena, they are way worst and it is a common thing between them. To this day, that sole clip was used to destroy Tectone's reputation even more than it already have but nobody seem to care about the other 90% of clips that were positive between them. Why did nobody clip or quote the good things that Tectone did for his wife ??? His wife even defended him on twitter over that whole clip blowing up because they so badly want to make Tectone look as bad as possible to fit their narrative, cancel culture is crazy.

I have a personal friend who doesnt like tectone and said that im crazy for liking the guy, and that he says that tectone should watch out what he says because there are children watching on his channel, and I think that he's crazy, because, this guys's job is literally a content creator, and its his job to make content to entertain or be informative, and those people that are underaged watching him, just find him entertaining, if they dont want to watch tectone, just watch the others who doesn't do that shit.
I'm not friends with that guy anymore, though he's kind, but, he can be a little out of it sometimes and just wont take the blame for mistakes and a bit hypocrite. some stuffs happened personally and that just didnt want me to be friends with him anymore.

Reasons on why i like Teccy is cause he is just real
Being such an overly nice, people-pleaser usually stems from a stifled personality because you care so much how others think about you. Everyone will like a person like that because they tend to do things that pander to other people. However, those types would typically talk sh*t behind your back, that's why psychology states that overly nice people are ungenuine. Being your most genuine, honest, unfiltered self makes you stand out a bit but people will either hate you or absolutely love you for your real personality. You might think it's okay to just be liked by almost everyone for being nice as opposed to being hated for who you are. But what's worse than being hated for true self is becoming liked for being someone you're not.
I mean, you can say that, sure. But at the end of the day, truth is, the vast majority of people, are just kind of bland. You don't *have* to be overly rude or aggressive in your personality to be your genuine self. The vast majority of people are polite and nice, just cause that's how they are with most people. And whilst they can also be rude, and a good bit aggressive, they don't usually go out of their way to be so. So, in the same way that people being overly nice are usually just trying to put up a front, the people being extremely rude and aggressive are usually doing the same.

Remember the original Star Wars came out DECADES ago and it was unique for it's time and rather incredible in it's undertaking and simple but evocative storytelling. It was easy to get behind yet fantastical all the same. Like Tolkien, but relatable. When you watch Star Wars from 30-40 years ago even if you watched it 20 years ago, it's not as amazing. Because like or "better" products have come out. Hell, many of those properties build directly off Star Wars or are inspired by it to varying degrees. Probably couldn't have had them without it. Behind it, there was the love of a generation because of it. And modern Star Wars just tries to profit off that nostalgia. It's kind of disgusting.
It'd be like watching Nosferatu from fucking 1922 and saying it's "mid" without acknowledging that it's what created the modern vampire. It's not as fun to watch now because we have different mindsets, especially the crazy amount of info we desire to take in. But it's existence is important, and it was great for it's time.

His excuse for whaling on genshin was extremely idiotic. All it did was give people an out when spending small sums of money. They could spend $100 dollars and say, "Well, at least I'd didn't spend as much money as that guy Tectone." I like Tectone (and he is how I've found your content). I am not a fan of chunks of Asmongold's content. Some of it is okay, but there are specific aspects of his content that keep coming up over and over that I don't care for.

To me his spending does steer me away, because as much fun he looks when playing the game, it doesn't justify the amount.... I know that there's probably no gacha game out there that makes the game more fun the more you spend, but I guess I needed to see that it doesn't. Owh and before anyone asks how much change would justify spending, to me if you spend over 100$ I would say it would justify if the game changes like it just had an updated DLC, so if it's genshin spending 100$ should've given me the "golden archipelago" back when it first golden archipelago doesn't exist, some kind of equivalent to that, where there's not only a new place, they got new system, new puzzle, new enemy, mount/transport. Think of Skyrim for example and imagine the weapon and spell is locked behind a gacha system, if you look at it in genshin perspective, what you pay is essentially the weapon and skill that is locked in the game of Skyrim, paying more is like enchantment, sure Skyrim is not a free game and it doesn't really do that.... But to spend more than some triple A game and only unlock a way to kill, walk, run and look just differently through the game? Meh. If I imagine a fighting game is a side scroller, I would rather spend money to get more stages, get "new challengers" and do more bonus stages than changing different fighters if I were to spend idk... double what the game is worth if it wasn't free to play. Owh and idk who is gonna read this far but if you say sumeru, fontaine or other main story location is the reward/justify the spending anyway as comparable to the "DLC/stages" that I mentioned, you might be dumb.. those are going to be there regardless of how much you're spending, it's basically saying an unfinished game needed you to spend more to make it a finished product and the finish product is your reward.
He's now mostly free to play in gacha :)

Teccy is a great example of how people just don't listen to what you say nowadays, they love to latch onto a portion (demeanor) and pretend like that's your entire identity/point of view/etc. Just because an asshole is giving you good advice doesn't mean your reaction should be "wow what an asshole."
There are plenty of ways to give advice without being an asshole because a decent person would listen first to everything before saying anything; however I've notice that people nowadays instead of just listening first before saying anything would instantly butt in without letting the other person finish their take.

Tectone in my point of view is an asshole. What I mean by that is that he has a jerk attitude. He jokes offensively, has very aggressive attitude when making his point, very insensitive at times. But one thing I can say is that even if he’s an asshole. He is very true to himself. He is straightforward as well and says things without BS (When he’s not joking around). I also find a lot pf his points very valid and of course not all of them but most of them. Guy knows what he yaps about. He can also be very respectful depending on his mood. He is also a true gamer in my opinion. One that can like something but also be very critical about it which I can respect. All in all the guy’s been through a lot and got through it. He worked his ass off to get to where he is right now. He deserves what he has right now and of course very happy that he has a good friend circle right now. Also he’s a fcking good friend to have which opened my eyes because of the vid. Anyways big propps to the bald man.
I feel like if people want to call out his character, they should give examples or elaborate a little more and give us details into why you think that way about him so we can learn. 🤔
What does his jerk attitude consist of ? What are the specific jokes he made that u considered offensive ? Yes I agree he can sometimes word things in an aggressive manner that might appear intimidating and he can be insensitive. But still I would like to know why so we have something to references of off so we can see where you are coming from.
@@innovated435 I think this is when he goes to his stream and randomly calls out his friends (Mr.Pok I think his name was) and he says he just likes to troll people and goes into their stream annoying them which I think is a jerk thing to do but hey maybe it’s how he shows endearment. Also I like Mtash and that’s how I base my cc. Someone that’s chill but like tectone who attacks topics which are sensitive and finds the fact and flaws on the said topic. I do like tectone’s ideas better just his temperament I guess is too extreme for me. But I do like the guy, he seems very genuine. Plus the fact that he shit talks whales as well is pretty offensive like (fobmaster I think his name was) but pretty funny as well. All in all I think tectone is a Sanguine type of person. Someone who can be insensitive but they do it not to offend someone but just to start ways to joke around.

The people he trolls and calls out are his friends that knows him well, it can easily be seen as friendly banter, you can see that as him being a jerk but if he truly is they can easily call him out for it, but let's be real they don't care that much because it doesn't bother them. CONTEXT MATTERS, what did he specifically say ? If you feel offended for them maybe YOU are the one being soft or sensitive and not them ? The people who upvoted or agree with this take doesn't even know why they think he is an asshole ?? 🤨

@@innovated435 Nope he pretty much says it himself that he’s a bad guy. Personally I don’t believe he’s a bad guy. I worked at the government under our country’s healthcare sustem during covid. I know how scumy people work and how they operate. Tectone likes to be a troll, that is why I said he acts like a jerk. Is he the scummiest? Nah he’s aight. I do get why you guys would question this and my answer to that is watch his streams. It’s so random, one time he would say I love my viewers and then flips up people the next. I’m not saying he’s the worst, what I am saying is that he definitely has a lot of flaws. By flaws I mean he gets attacked every single time and all of the farming drama shit is true. I am happy that he’s in a better light now and that he is a good friend to his circle. I am also happy he called out scummy people like atsu and just assholes in general who hate for no reason. I mean you really just have to watch his stream with an open mind. I don’t want him to change his ways he’s a grown ass man but I will say what I see whenever tectone comes up.
