back to the start of the madness! fishing where I caught my first trout on the fly

i've done a lot of fly fishing in the first year since I started here. embarrassingly, my casting is only marginally better on this outing, as i've been mono rigging mainly in the last month and i'm out of practice with fly line. this creek requires a bit more distance than i can do with a tight line. it's felt nice to whip that fly line again
