The Dog Bone Christmas Ornament
Crochet Pattern was designed about 8 years ago.
We decided it was time to retest and up date the
pattern with new pictures. We also,
filmed a brand new Video.
They are perfect For You Family and Friends
With Dogs and Cats.
This Crochet Pattern is designed using 2 strands of
Medium(4) yarn. Any fiber will work, I prefer the
cotton as it holds the same well. Any colors you
like can be used, as well.
You will enjoy stitching up these Dog Bone Ornaments.
They make appliques, gift tags, decorations
and of course Christmas Tree Ornaments.

I love this bone too. I'm gonna try it for the crocheted Christmas paw stockings I'm making for my cat mom friend. Can it be all one color and does it do better if I'm using two strands? I have just one skein of white for the bones so I'll have to get one more skein next month.

I'm just playing with one strand for right now so I can test the snow covered Santa Sleigh font that I designed the names in. Not sure if my embroidery machine can handle the thickness of the yarn so that's why I'm just using one strand. The two strands of yarn might do okay though 'cause it feels like the thickness of a sweatshirt :0).

I decided that I needed to get the I Love This Cotton brand at Hobby Lobby. I'm gonna go to Hobby Lobby on Tuesday and get 2 skeins of white. This morning, I kept trying to get a good bone shape and the Red Heart yarn wasn't cooperating so I'm gonna use the Red Heart white yarn for the paw pads and the I Love This Cotton yarn for the bones.
