Why royal enfield removed tachometer? Doesn"t it feel cheap😬😬😬. I own a thunderbird500 x and have booked it in celestial red but I feel Thunderbird cluster feels like far more superior than the new one. Moreover the delivery time is around 4 months which is huge
But from a personal stand point if you are looking for the most premium feel budget cruiser. This is the pick, would highly suggest to have a test ride and see it in flesh
Thanks to alloy wheels with tubeless, now avlb on interceptor n Conti, not to talk of LED headlight (not that it's an adv over halogen, just because it's LED...nothing more absurd), the mob charger, hazard lights n adjustable levers...I feel that the new Interceptor is a wiser buy.... But then, the wheel/handlebar wobble issues??? Has RE fixed those???
I don’t think so the newer models will get rid of the wobbliness cuz its more of a con-set issue then a suspension issue. And in case of this bike the wobble has made it way to the back of the bike and this one fish-tale happy
Very nice video and good review! How tall are you? I'm 5’8, I tried the super Meteor 2 days earlier, I had to move slightly towards the tank to reach the gear selector, which I think becomes uncomfortable on a long ride. It may be a matter of habit to find the right position.
I’m 5’10 and yet i find my legs hard to reach maybe due to habit or something and anyhow the the gear lever is suitable for boots. But yet not a bike i would make a first choice personally
Please explain the difference between a belt driven & a chain driven tourer bike 🏍.....why they use belt 😳 instead of a chain ⛓️ ....samajh me aaraha hena
Unlike chain drive, which requires very frequent cleaning, tightening and maintenance, belt drives are relative maintenance free. They run clean as they don’t have to be lubricated with sticky lubes and don’t require cleaning either. Generally touring bike with belt drive are split frame bike that’s the reason aswell. Just one question, did you feel any initial pick up lag in meteor 650 when compare to interceptor?? Or both bikes run exactly the same as they share the same engine.
See if you are giving the gas all the way at one go then there its abit of a lag cuz its a drive by wire throttle, so regardless it’s a supermeteor or Gt or the continental they all have the same characteristics. But it’s so much negligible that it doesn’t make a difference in how the power delivered
