- www.freemathvid... In this video series I will show you how divide complex numbers. We do this by eliminating the imaginary number on the denominator by producing equivalent fractions. We do this by multiplying i if we have an imaginary number on the denominator and multiplying by the conjugate if the denominator is a complex number.
(7 + 4i)/(2 - 3i)
This man's videos are a help for generations to come, can't say thanks enough.
Sir, you just saved my GPA by 2pts on at least 20 occasions
Relatable lol
You are a very good teacher!. Greetings from Mexico
Appreciate it. Thanks
You are. Really incorrect

Thank you so much for this video! I’m in an accelerated algebra 2 class, and sometimes it’s so quick that I don’t understand. I’ve been confused on this for a while, and this cleared up all my confusions!
So happy to help
Same, algebra 2 trig?
This man is saving me from failing Algebra 2 thank you man 😭
You saved my life from the hardest thing I was struggling. Thanks 🙏
You are saving my butt in my college algebra class. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this. I didn't understand this at all when I first got to it and now I have a unit test. The first half was today and I realized just how much I needed to learn this. You truly saved me today!
Ok I didn't even know the box method existed, it's much simpler than FOIL, so can the box method completely replace FOIL in all circumstances? Also I now realize what I was doing wrong, the conjugate always has the opposite sign, I was doing it with the same sign. This video was very helpful!
Thank you so so much. I have adhd and autism and I’m in advanced Algebra 2. My math teacher is not very understanding and treats me differently because of my disabilities, so I don’t get the help I need. You have saved my grade multiple times and I don’t know how to thank you.
What a osm trick sir , sir please provide this type of trick for maths please ! Love from india 🇮🇳🇮🇳 ⬅️☑️⬅️☑️
Best math teacher on UA-cam!! Thanks Brian!!
You are very welcome!
Oh yea!!!!!! THAT WAS SOME GOOD LOOKING EASY UNDERSTANDING DELICIOUS KNOWLEDGE RIGHT THERE!!
This was super helpful! Thanks!
Thank you for this! Love how you teach.
✌Thank u so much Sir, I am a student of 8th Grade. It helped me alot
im learning this in college lmao is that bad?
@@b_salvador5584 You Learning this in College 😂😂. Are u kidding me
@@b_salvador5584 brooooo, same lmao
I have a test tomorrow and I'm cramming
wth your in 8th grade what I'm a junior in highschool but I'm in a "dual" course so I'm half at high school and half college
@@Ashirex How are you taking this in 8th grade, I'm a freshman in highschool and had to take a summer geometry course to take the class.
well, thank you ! from Rwanda
I am so thankful for this video. However, I still have a question. The problem that I am working on has addition in both the numerator and denominator. 7+9i / 3+4i. That's the problem, so do I multiply the problem by the conjugate of the denominator (3-4i)?
Box method is pretty similar with foil method. Thank you very much for teaching me this method, it helps me a lot thank you
Very good tutorial thank you sir
Thanks for this. I got a test tmr and I didn’t want to rewatch a 40 minute vid my teacher made for us to know this
I'm Brazilian and here they do not teach it. Very good!!
saved my life thanks sm
Thanks from India 🇮🇳
Literally 10x better then how my teacher explains it
happy to help!!
The question that I was spending 20 min on this guy taught me how to do it in 4
Thanks 😊.Love from India
Thank you! This was so helpful
So is the box method the same as Foiling?
Yea
why is -12i sq = -12 ? =[ why is the -1 appearing like its lucky charms? when it comes to imaginary numbers is any i squared = -1? is that a rule or somethin?
That! Was fuckin brilliant. Thanks alot mate!
You are very good teacher ! I am so proud of u 🤗🤗
Ahhh thanks!!
Thank you brother 🙏🙏🙏
So the 2/13 is my a value and the 29/13i is my b value?
amazing just amazing video!!!!
Thanks❤️🇪🇬
Thank you 🙏
Thank you!!

I used foil method, just seemed faster
thank you 🙏🏼 I am from iraq 🇮🇶 I interested have you a mor from my teacher
Lmao, you guys rlly use boxes. Haha
Why do you always make it more complicated than it needs to be.
Still lost... moving really fast

انته تعقد الامور الى الاسوء
Was to fast bruh
sorry about that
My brain fell out in an instant😆😆
I see the good old lattice trick coming in hand, first used it in 4th grade for 3-4 digit number multiplication problems. Proud to see lattice works well with complex numbers so well! Thanks for the tip.
I use foil instead of the box method, and you are still seriously saving my ass right now. I cannot tell you how my textbook and these slides described the multiplication and division process and the convoluted formula. I remember stumbling across your videos from Algebra and could have cried, lol.
Ceo of saving my grade
Thank you so much
a sub as a token of my thanks 🤝
Wow wow it was sooo easy thanks
Thank you so much 😊, greetings from Saudi Arabia
Best math teacher i've seen so far
Thanks dude
Life saver
Merci
It's so relieving to be able to finally understand the math after endless confusion in my actual class. Or what I mean to say is: thanks math dude.
Thank you so much for your videos. Your explanations have brought me to the point of understanding the seemingly impossible.
Thank you so much! Your videos always help me out with math, I’m very grateful that I have videos like these to help me out.
You Help me a lot sir, thank you. greetings from indonesian
Bro you’re better than my own teacher. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍
