No vent tube and no red cap for positive to protect from spark? Otherwise good video
What about recoding the new battery to the car computer??
Any idea of how to do the coding part by yourself? Thanks!
@@maggiehao6662 Have since spoken to my local Mercedes dealership and a local independent they both say coding/registering is not required. Have since fitted the replacement battery without any issues.
Are there any extra procedures needed after the replacement. I’ve seen a video where you had to use something to tell the computer of the car the battery is replaced so it can charge up the new battery
If you have a scanner tool you can do a battery reset from there.
No
What if you don’t have such scanner when you replace battery FIY at home?
@@maggiehao6662 You don’t need it. Just replace the battery. It will register a new battery automatically
That would be the most convenient! Some video shows coding needed for windows and etc after battery replacement. Thank you for your reply!
Why didn't you put the vent tube and plug in place?
Is memory saver not needed?
Thank you for your question! The need for a memory saver is really dependent on the car make and specific job being done. While some jobs may require this, others may not. You can visit our site, www.youcanic.com to access a wealth of free resources, guides and even our YOUCANIC scanner for more specific details on your vehicle.

You’re working on a glc 300 so the question was directed at this particular car. A simple yes or no answer goes a long way
A very valid point!

I just replaced my battery at AutoZone and it does not need any scanning or computer.
