For the long decals, dont take it all of the way off the backing paper. It makes it easier to align, and then you progressively remove the paper and press down the decal.

I’m from the UK and got the retro logo from flamingtoast delivered here, really fast shipping for me got here within a week, and looks great when applied! I’ve also got a matte black skin for the middle of the console because I can’t stand glossy plastic! Hoping for some classic grey faceplates next.
@@DANE89 it cost me about £10 for 2x Logo decal (classic and red. You kinda have to get the 2 together) and 2x controller Logo button decals. So I think $4.99 for the logo on the console. Delivery was like $1.50. took about a week and a half to arrive here in the UK. So if you wanted just the console decal then you're looking at around $6.50-$7 Defo recommend it
Those black side panels look so damn good. Now if only Sony would sell some all black controllers then we'd be in business. I'd even take ones with black and gray.

I threw in 3 games, an extra controller, and the extended warranty. Started the bidding at less than cost. Bidding skyrocketed within a few hours. I got all sorts of nasty messages later calling me every name in the book from people who thought I was scalping without first checking to see that it was the bidding that drove up the price and not me. The highest bidder came in at last minute and refused to pay me. Guess he thought he was sticking it to a scalper. Pissed me off. Didn’t even bother to re-list it.

Until the stock shortages end in the scalpers are not able to pick up dozens of consoles at a time to sell at high markups that's how things are unfortunately going to continue to be. What I really wish SONY would do is switch the LED function so it powers up as White that fades into and stays on as Blue. I have no idea why they don't understand this simple design aesthetic.

Funnily enough i did the same mods. Used the og ps logo colors and put some blue stickers over the led strip on mine since blue is more synonymous with playstation. Looks great! Also cannot wait for the black covers to come out, gonna look real good!
I like how you do the tear downs on consoles and get in depth with them instead of just talking like about it like most UA-camrs, and quality of videos is always on point and length too
I have the Rasta coloured light from flaming toast. The Rasta coloured vinyl shows the red, yellow and green colours along the light much brighter than this the purple one. I might order the PS logo vinyl from them.
I'll have to look into this site. I want red for the lights and the PS logo to match the Miles Morales theme I made. Do they make a skin to cover the center glossy black plastic, too?

The Stickers around the Light could be abit tricky for some people but it seems a really cheap way too Customize the PS5 alongwith some different Side Panels/Faceplates jobs a good'un guys.
I got the rainbow RGB for chaining the light color while on also a blue PS logo. I already have a 14" crusader knight vinyl decal on the logo side of the case which looks amazing. I might change to the multi color PS logo soon.

Well ,i own a repair shop and already i have received like 5 ps5 with hdmi problems, 2 bricked and like 6 with gpu problems, not to mention that mine bricked up with demons souls 3 days after launch, i send it to sony still waiting for it,those stickers ive sold a lot of then they look nice tho
What is interesting to point out here is that the blue led light is fluorescing phosphors / milerals in the sticker to make it glow other colors. This is how you can get the rainbow from using only blue light.
Imagine being so influenced by the cancer that is social media these days. We truly live in the days of a sheep follow sheep world! All the spray paint and customizations have NO originality to them (asides from a few such as the death stranding custom PS5 for example). Even the ‘classic’ PS colored logos is becoming a bore!

I just recieved my sidepanels in matblack from Aliexpress. They fit GREAT! im super happy. Was afraid that they wouldn't arrive at all but they came in about 10 days even.
No stickers are for packing and things like that and it comes of easy, and decals are applied to bikes and other important things to mark , it's much stronger and also come in different varieties just as water and heat applied.
That led vinyl worked out pretty well. This would be even better if it was in a cabinet or something since it would be a bit darker. I’ll be building a cabinet with active cooling for mine eventually

Unplugging and taking the ps5 out of my entertainment center is such a pain in the ass. I can't really turn the system over to see where I'm plugging the cables if I want clean cable management. Only reason why I didn't get those dbrand plates right away. I don't want to deal with the hassle of taking my ps5 out lol.
It would be great if you could eventually make a video clearly showing how to remove everything needed to clean the dust out of the dust catchers and then put it all back together.

COB I spray painted the plates matte black with plasti dip them finished it off with clear coat semi gloss looks much better than white
