This game was so underrated!! But my only complaint was it didn’t have “mother’s” original voice. I thought they would use it from the original movie. Other than that it was an amazing game!! And it had the voices from the original cast :D
Because the company had smart robots, They would always want the ship back and never care about the humans, Sourgney really made fun of this in Galaxy Quest
Danger! The emergency destruct system is now activated. The ship will detonate in T-minus ten minutes. The awerwite automatic detonation experience in T-minus five minute
One nag I had about this is that the warning panel clearly states ten minutes. But you only get five minutes until detonation without _any_ abortion period.
Dont Tread on Me It's not the same. Also the computer starts at T minus 5, in reality the T minus 5 is the "point of no return" for the detonation system.
The biggest problem with this game was just how damn LONG it was. It felt like the game was going to end like 5 times but it just kept going and going. At the halfway point it kind of quit being scary and just ended up being non-stop stress, like I was in a ten hour artillery barrage in WW1.
@@Marcus51090 Pretty stupid way to design a game, then. You need to keep your players engaged, because they always have the option to just quit and uninstall the game.
I don’t see the problem with that honestly. It was a gigantic space station that you were on with multiple aliens .. pretty sure thats the point. I don’t see how you weren’t engaged i was hoping to see what was our character’s fate in the game.
I really loved it. Being emerged in it for so long. Like you had another life somewhere in the Alien universe. The sounds in this game are so good. And I still think it is one of the best standalone games I have ever played. The atmosphere so intense and pressing. Wish there will be another Alien adventure in the future.
I don't know what idiot thought it'd be good to install a system that blows up the engines, or what idiot agreed with him, but I guess it's a good thing they did.
Where is the huge explosion scene at the end???? It's like the most anticlimactic disappointment ever. Why all that amazing effort put into making this and then they just leave out maybe the best scene from the movie?

They should've gotten helen Hortons actual voice from them 1979 film
Michael Reyes Well she died like a year before this DLC came out
@@kittyhawk2352 yeah but still use it from the movie into this game.
@@michaelreyes7641 They'd have to get her family's permission and that's some other legal shit entirely
@@kittyhawk2352 who?
It's actually sigourney herself in this game!!!
~2:49
Genuinely got scared. Immidiately got sooooo many flashbacks. Well at least I was reassured that my instinctive reactions are still spot on
It would have benn amazing if the studio have added rescuing Jonesy's as a mission objective
@Rend damn that would be tuff
The alarm terrifies me
Right
I love alarms
Wave Check THAT ALARM IS FRICKING AWESOME!!! ITS CLASSIC
Because the company had smart robots, They would always want the ship back and never care about the humans, Sourgney really made fun of this in Galaxy Quest
2:48 the only reason I replay the dlc is to hear this
Great CGI for alien isolation
“See you soon Amanda. Be a good girl. I love you!” Ellen Ripley- audio chopped off at the end of this clip
Danger! The emergency destruct system is now activated. The ship will detonate in T-minus ten minutes. The awerwite automatic detonation experience in T-minus five minute
Hey that's a Alarm Mix from Alien 1 and 2 😎
i wish the alien 1 alarm was on it
One nag I had about this is that the warning panel clearly states ten minutes. But you only get five minutes until detonation without _any_ abortion period.
Is this a dlc to play as Ripley?
Yes
Excelente!
watch the movie silent running the self destruct system is the same as in alien
Dont Tread on Me It's not the same. Also the computer starts at T minus 5, in reality the T minus 5 is the "point of no return" for the detonation system.
“Mother’s” voice isn’t the same :( but everything else is pretty close!
Can you make a video of what happens if Ripley stayed on the Nostromo when it explodes?
game over?

That was entirely the point lol

@@Mr.PR2000 Agree with you, the game was that long because it had a good story to tell; I was certainly engaged through the entirety of it.

it's for real emergency situations,
It disables the coolant system for the engines.
so they can murder everyone :D
It is for emergency situations, that happens to be the case
But what mode and? I had played survival but it was another the ending
Last survivor, the dlc.
Wow

At least you get *something.*
You get a thing.
Its a DLC
the voice is not the same!
Tommy Sands well i mean, it’s the same actor. But it’s been a few years.
It’s the same actor?? Really?
Vince M actually MUTHER’s voice actor died I think a year before this DLC came out
Me to
the original alarm sounds and voice are soooo much better in the movie! totally ruines the atmosphere
