Hey jorraptor about items vanishing is that it happened to me however once I reached the level of the bow and other ledgendary items they reappeared. So don't freak. Ikelos revealing items loot enemies is a bit bugy. The arena fights I could only do the first three but when I went for the athenians at lvl 93 while being lvl 74 I got owned. But it is taking forever to lvl up. I'm 76 and a half now. Got a fully upgraded ship and got my skin and ships mast head that I missed in episode 2. Sad to say you don't get more segments for upgrading your spear all over.
I still say the biggest benefit of NG+ is being able to re-do all the missions as these generally gave much more XP than bounties, quests or war contracts which will make farming for Mastery Levels much easier than just grinding.
NG+ for Odyssey is quite frankly GREAT. I think people underestimate what it would mean going through the game at whichever pace you wanted, and it would make it far more feasable to get to level 99 and start experimenting with some really fun builds.
Yeah but GoW of is like 1/10 of the Odyssey in terms of scale. Well not even that you can complete whole GoW with everything in like 50 hours and in linear corridor fashion. With basic barebone gameplay. I think Ubisoft already did a lot for Odyssey

Noticed that the compass changed in the map. It used to be in top right, now it’s in bottom left. And the design has changed as well to what looks like a temple.

I can confirm that you retain your mercenary rewards so make sure you get to the S4 before starting a new one. Also, the beginning horse that Markos gives you has 3 skins. You just need to choose a different one from your previous game.
So to get around the bug of losing gear, as mentioned in the video, I feel like it would be wise to make to manual saves, and keep them both quite up to date, with one not far behind the other just in case the game decides to screw you over
Ubisoft nailed this game. Specially with Kassandra. But wish there was some beginning to the assassin order before he formed it. Also hope we get the blade after the third episode of the DLC. Imagine Kassandra having that.

FYI, if you store your Legendary armor in your ship's inventory, when you re-acquire them from a quest or NPC, not only will you avoid the disappearing items bug, but also it seems the Entire Set gets free levels. I had my Serpent set in my ship's storage when I killed the NPC that gives you the serpent chest. It 'pulled' the item out of my ship and gave me a fresh version at level 71 like I expected it to. However, when I returned to the ship to store it away, I found that ALL the Serpent armor pieces, which had been level 30-ish, were now level 71. This did not apply to the weapon, though. I don't know if this will repeat if I get another piece of the set later on, but for now it seems that storing your legendaries on your ship not only avoids losing the item to bugs, but potentially can save you hundreds of thousands of drachmae in upgrade costs. This *may* be a bug that gets patched out later, but it is *totally* a great way to get free upgrades for your legendary sets.
I had the Hades Bow problem too, you have to reload before the encounter (which cost me 1 hour of time wasted), I found the same mercenary in the same location, removed the bow off my use, used another bow, then killed and looted him. It will stay in your inventory and not disappear and you will be able to use it normally and fine with any attachments when you reach the recommended level. (I think the same goes for any other weapon or piece of armor)
So just don't carry the items you're about to loot and it'll be safe?? What about changes in armor? I played with Alexios at first but want to start a NG+ with Kass and eventually with Alexios again in a NG++. Will I have any issues??

I played this game out like 3 times. Now I ended the main story like 7 months ago and am still finishing everything there is to do before starting New Game plus. I'm already level 99 and have amazing perks so imagine how powerful I will be in new game plus

Please help!!!! The game will not let me finish the quest "Home". I have tried ubisoft, no dice. I have tried everything I can think of. I have ruled out everything on my end. It is in the digital copy of the game. I am well versed in the AC universe. I continued, on thinking all would be well when episode 3 came out. There is a bug where Hephaistos doesnt apply the discount for learning new engravings anymore. Hope they fix that soon. But with ACO Ubisoft takes really long to fix bugs, even the worst ones. They dont even make a statement, they just wait. I also think decreasing the drachme and resources we get to boost the Helix Store pack sales is a dick move from ubi.
I got my merc rank to s4 I was killing lv99 mercs with a lv71 character wanted that bonus. They need to Make leveling past 70 less of a grind tho.... I got 37 premium items without spending a penny!! Odyssey level restrictions and how large the map is + how much each time required exp raises needed to next lvl... i literalely have played 40 hours and have just finished chapter 3. Only slowly starting to figure out how contracts work and naval battles...taked maybe twice couple weeks break the game too. Now as i listen jor talk about new game + maybe i give it a go if they fix the bugs in it what has mentioned this video. It can take months to finish this game main quest line and probably personally it will take from me since i love explore every canny and nook in openworld games especially since the enviroment and music is so nicely done as it is in odyssey.

@@aaronvanzomeren8775 when you get to max level 99 crit chance at full health engraving is 20% and you put it on head and feet. Then 10% crit chance on bow, gloves and waist I think. Then max out your mastery crit. And the weapon in the store gives you a flat 10% crit chance

i got that bug with the hades bow, if you lose your gear go to a blacksmith and Engravings and you will find it there, it worked for me, and i had to engrave it again to see it in my inventory.

If u started with Cassandra and then start with alexis a ng+ u will have the amazonian armor but when you get a piece of armor of Achilles it will transform from amazonian to Achilles but u can use both as visual customization so yeah u can be an Amazon as alexios 😂
Hey y'all. I was wondering if after you finish NG+ if you can do it again with your NG+ save file. I'd like to play through again with my equipment and character. or is it like the witcher where you can only do NG+ one time then it's over. I thought that was really lame after sinking hundreds of hours into Geralt and his upgrades just to not be able to play through the story a third or fourth time. by then you're level capped so there wouldn't be a problem with scaling the enemies, right? thanks guys. Alright so I’m Level 99 + Mastery Level 20. Finished every side quest, mission, location, beast, ostraka, every secret hidden armour piece, all DLC ..... now what ? No new cool armour in NG+? So since I’m above level 99, if I repeat a fight and NG+ drops a legendary item I already have at level 99, will the replacement item drop also be 99? Or is there a chance it would be a few levels lower, like 97? Or once you hit 99+, will drops all be 99?
Hey Jor got a really cool thing that happened in NG+. I have both the base-game save and a NG+ save that i work on, I did the weekly quest and the daily one in my normal save and got the 50 orichalcum, i then went to my NG+ save and, although the weekly was gone from this save there was another daily I could do for another 10 orichalcum
Another thing i’ve found with the new update is in naval battles. You used to be able to board a ship even if others were still attacking you but they no longer let you do that and you have to either sink or disable all the ships you are fighting before you can board one.

I’m excited to play NG+ with hidden blades which hopefully they give us in the final part of her dlc, and no lame sidequests requirements and level restrictions. Aka playing assassins creed and not rpg creed.

I played Alexios and now I tried new game plus with Kassandra. I wanted to play her with the Amazonian set but I cannot find it anywhere because I had the achillies set. She was able to wear the achillies set though. Does it mean I have to find all the achillies set just to have the amazonian set?
Glad I never decided to do a NG+ because I prefer playing as Kassandra and I think she's better than Alexios. I also don't want to try and defog the entire map which takes a while.
Not sure if anyone else has gotten the same problem but I leveled up from 76 to 77 while I was hunting for the tombs to find the civilization steles to get the ability points and I didn’t get an ability point from the level up. I’m guessing the points gained from the steles might be bugging out my level up points. Anyone else have this happen?
I also noticed that amount of money you get from selling gear is decreased SIGNIFICANTLY! Instead of 10k+for epic gear you now get 2-3k+. I sold over 100 pieces of gear and barely got anything back.

Upgrade your gears to Level 71. All the perks from the gear will upgrade to Level 8.

Actually I'm curious. I always use Kassandra but I wanted to try using her brother this time. Does all your weapons and upgrades and builds carry over if you start with the other character in new game plus, or do you lose all of it?

@@aaronvanzomeren8775 when you get to max level 99 crit chance at full health engraving is 20% and you put it on head and feet. Then 10% crit chance on bow, gloves and waist I think. Then max out your mastery crit. And the weapon in the store gives you a flat 10% crit chance

Really wish Ubisoft would've marked the new fast travel points on the map... I've already discovered all the points on the map, and now you're telling me I gotta some how find these 22 new locations. I guess it kinda helps that they are near ports...

i got that bug with the hades bow, if you lose your gear go to a blacksmith and Engravings and you will find it there, it worked for me, and i had to engrave it again to see it in my inventory.

after you reach level 99 and level up again you keep your mastery level you were on
JorRaptor I've been meaning to ask does your eagle stay at tier 3 on new game plus as well or do you have to do the viewpoints all over again to increase its perception?
He does say you lose all viewpoints so ikaros would be back at level 1
Can confirm obtaining piece of the amazon set again as alexios transforms it into the Achilles equivalent.

If u started with Cassandra and then start with alexis a ng+ u will have the amazonian armor but when you get a piece of armor of Achilles it will transform from amazonian to Achilles but u can use both as visual customization so yeah u can be an Amazon as alexios 😂

Hey y'all. I was wondering if after you finish NG+ if you can do it again with your NG+ save file. I'd like to play through again with my equipment and character. or is it like the witcher where you can only do NG+ one time then it's over. I thought that was really lame after sinking hundreds of hours into Geralt and his upgrades just to not be able to play through the story a third or fourth time. by then you're level capped so there wouldn't be a problem with scaling the enemies, right? thanks guys. Alright so I’m Level 99 + Mastery Level 20. Finished every side quest, mission, location, beast, ostraka, every secret hidden armour piece, all DLC ..... now what ? No new cool armour in NG+? So since I’m above level 99, if I repeat a fight and NG+ drops a legendary item I already have at level 99, will the replacement item drop also be 99? Or is there a chance it would be a few levels lower, like 97? Or once you hit 99+, will drops all be 99?
Do the items you get in NewGame get transferred to your regular save?

Hey Jor got a really cool thing that happened in NG+. I have both the base-game save and a NG+ save that i work on, I did the weekly quest and the daily one in my normal save and got the 50 orichalcum, i then went to my NG+ save and, although the weekly was gone from this save there was another daily I could do for another 10 orichalcum

Bruce Blackwell I think there’s still 1 more episode left for Atlantis, episode 3 it hasn’t been released yet. Double check though I’m not sure
Another thing i’ve found with the new update is in naval battles. You used to be able to board a ship even if others were still attacking you but they no longer let you do that and you have to either sink or disable all the ships you are fighting before you can board one.

I’m excited to play NG+ with hidden blades which hopefully they give us in the final part of her dlc, and no lame sidequests requirements and level restrictions. Aka playing assassins creed and not rpg creed.

I played Alexios and now I tried new game plus with Kassandra. I wanted to play her with the Amazonian set but I cannot find it anywhere because I had the achillies set. She was able to wear the achillies set though. Does it mean I have to find all the achillies set just to have the amazonian set?
I know the game autosaves does it delete the manual save i created with the finished storyline?
Does it restart the dlc missions also ?

Glad I never decided to do a NG+ because I prefer playing as Kassandra and I think she's better than Alexios. I also don't want to try and defog the entire map which takes a while.
That's what I'm doing, I got to Athens in the main story so now I'm just doing side quests and finding all the hidden locations

Not sure if anyone else has gotten the same problem but I leveled up from 76 to 77 while I was hunting for the tombs to find the civilization steles to get the ability points and I didn’t get an ability point from the level up. I’m guessing the points gained from the steles might be bugging out my level up points. Anyone else have this happen?
What armour were you wearing at the beginning with kassandra in the thumbnail (chest plate)
I also noticed that amount of money you get from selling gear is decreased SIGNIFICANTLY! Instead of 10k+for epic gear you now get 2-3k+. I sold over 100 pieces of gear and barely got anything back.
