Here is a great tip: You can knock out the lieutenants first and save before you recruit them. They will stay knocked out, but their stat will change. If you have a couple of them in this state, you can easily save scum to get a good load out.

I had 5 of them turn while i was trying to read the notice board, try killing when you play on nightmare mode... It was hard but i done it, it took about 15 minutes to slay them all... 4 of them where gold mercs with 5* stats, my bounty was at full at the time...

Here is a tip. After a ship battle ram the ship immediately upon impact summon your eagle and mark the treasure on the wrecked ship. Swim down and get cool stuff. Helps with Poseidon trident. Engrave the perc on a lesser item if u are lower level to have infinite breath.
I had Alexios as one. There will be some special dialogues on board. The other family members might also have their own special dialogues. Also, when boarding, his fighting style is a lot fancier than a normal recruit.

You mistakenly make it seem as if you can get level 5 legendaries at anytime in the game. These lieutenants level up with your character. Early levels will be just one or two perks at level one or two and rarely a gold icon....obviously level 50 gameplay will have maxed out lieutenants galore all over the map.
Love this game, Just finished most of it. I fine it hard to play it just for the grind and weekly events. Only have a few problems with it, I feel like a big part of the modern day story is locked behind DLC and I wish each of the cult sagas had a kill cutscene, killing some of the sagas felt lackluster.
Yeah! Because some of the mercs look really cool, and if you didn't memorize their names, it's annoying to try to figure out which ones to choose for your crew. You have to wait to see them on your boat before knowing if you chose the right one.
another easy way to recruit lieutenants is unequipping one of your weapons and fighting bare handed when the fight is done they fall down like the are being hit by an arrow or something i just found out you can fight until you have full adrenaline for a overpower attack switch to the fire torch and use the overpower attack your character will drop the torch and attack barehanded using what i just said i recruited most of the mercenary's. greetings from Belgium :p
you forgot to mention that deimos (alexios/kassandra) has unique abilities that no other luitenant has in the entire game and he or she can massacre people like nobodies business... and the kill animations for them look like 1000000x cooler than anything you could do...

No matter the boarding crew you have you must have Myrrine and Deimos not only do they both have really good stats but Deimos is an absolute legend when your boarding

You have so many Legendary lieutenants... I only have about 10 or 12. I really wished I could of get the good story ending and have mom and bro in the rooster but they ended up dead.

I haven't even upgraded any gear or engraved anything yet either lol. My boat though is one from being maxed in everything due to wood and tablets
How do you get Nik, stentor and myrinne? I'm probably 100 hours in, lvl56 and I've done not very much story. Still only have maybe 50% map uncovered. I get sidetracked for hours just finding places and doing sidequests.
If you finished the game with the good ending(reuniting with deimos at last) and you should also spare nikaloas and stentor back in megaris. Then at the end we will get them as our ship lieutenants after the dinner cutscene with our family!

Just let him/her know you were in same boat and was tossed off a cliff too and the your mom tried her best to save him/her etc.. then Deimos will change his/her tone of voice and hug the mom and happy family time with Nicholas and Stentor and Deimos and mom at the old house. Happy family of 5! I have them as my ship lieutenants too
You know that particular feeling when you see a legendary potential lieutenant then a mercenary comes by and throws a bomb and it kills that potential on the ground. Yeah have felt that before.
Jorraptor I found another legendary crew member theme, the daughters of Artemis. I got them as a reward after I decided to defeat Daphne at the end of the "Daughters of Artemis" questline
I didn't even fight Daphne cause of her "relationship" with Alexios and I still got that crew theme. Also defeated all opponents in the Arena twice and got another legendary crew theme.

@@MrStressedOut after I defeated her, she told me that I deserve to lead the daughters of Artemis, she died and after that I got my rewards and the daughters of Artemis where still there ( I could assassinate them too) I play as kassandra and didn't have any relationship with Daphne by the way
You mentioned that the lieutenants in the helix store are lvl 3... but they keep up with your current level. I have Athena, Artemis, Dyonysos Muse and Aya as my lieutenants and their skill lvls are at 8 atm. And i got them when i was lvl 40 and now im at lvl 73. Just thought you should correct that but nice video tho.
I got lucky and got 4 Lieutenants with gain health abilities and with arrow damage increasing abilities, so I am able to deal crazy damage and gain more than half my health back in combat
There’s the Atlantis DLC Staff. You use as normal weapon but when they fall or beat them, they are knock out. So yes another way that’s faster to recruit people. Good luck.
@JorRaptor There is a glitch since last update > if you kill Cult member on the sea by destroying the ship, the Cult member spawn on your own boat and you have to kill him again "with hands". The result is a duplicate of the legendary gear (you get the first by destroying the ship and the duplicate when you kill him on your boat). As you can't scrap or sell legendary gear this glitch isn't that interesting but still funny ^^

@@whatthehell4644no you can’t call them to fight along side you. But you can call in your chopper for aerial support. Before missions in the mission sortie you can select to play the game as either your Online character, Snake or someone you’ve knocked out and recruited.

Question: I unlocked Evie in Ubisoft club...but I can’t see to find her in the game to equipped... the game says “you may have to progress in the game to have access to this reward” or something and I’m lvl 50.. so how much progress do I need? Or do I need to finish the game in order to use her as a lieutenant?
On the shop it says “owned” but I think the problem is that I didn’t had the assassins badge that the game is asking for it to unlock her until later on the game... and when I finally got the badge and unlocked her...the game told me that I need to progress more maybe because I break the game and it thinks that I don’t have the Adrestia or something... who knows? Lol
You don't need any progress, just go to ur ship customization and click on one of the lieutenants or on the empty field (if you hadn't equiped anybody) and click on her, she should be there
I don't know if they are stronger or not but when recruiting just the basic soldiers I always just get the elites but I don't know if that matters once they become a lieutenant

Okay, i'll give a little tips for you guys since the next live event is right around the corner. How to get the best epic gears. Simply, fast travel to every Blacksmiths in the game because they're selling epic gears. Why spending your Orichalcum on Epic gears when you can buy it with Drachmae, that's a flawed system right there in Olympian Shop. Yay, end game farming everybody. Ohh LanLa you actually don’t even have to do that, you can save in front of the same blacksmith and check what he has, if he doesn’t have anything you want, reload and his stock will change.
Mark Hettenbach Did you play on PC or Console ? Because i already tried that and it didn't work. I'm playing on PC by the way and PC version is still 1.03. So, maybe Ubisoft tweaks something and didn't mention in the patch note for console.
@@markhettenbach3141 Doesnt work on PC. I actually started a new game, Found the closest blacksmiths next to fast travel points, and farm the blacksmiths everytime you level up. Got my full epic hunter gear this way by level 30.

I like the ones that we can get for free, and are easily missable story side characters, such as that smuggler who got a bear into a sacred land. I wish you could make a list of those, because I am afraid to miss any of them.
I use paralyzing arrow with the fanged bow but it kills my enemies. If I hives the perk ‘normal arrows become poisonous’ will my paralyzing Arrows kill enemies?
Forgot to mention that the golden star on the skill trees usually means a random skill that benefits either ramming, boarding or cleaving and such, I have a harem thing going on, strictly no men, pure woman crewed ship XD
Dude..... I have mixed men and women then I have used either daughter of Artemis or women coliseum fighter icons. All ship members becomes women and the fun fact is with women coliseum, they all wear very light outfits :)
Are the heads of state actually less resistant in fighting on ships as against the protagonist, and the mercenaries more resistant, or are they all equal when recruited?
I have an idea for you, start making videos about builds using rare pieces with legendary perks or sets just for looks, like one of the gladiator movie or stuff like that. Would be interesting to see what gamers use, I have not finished it yet and I think I have a good mixed set. But think about it.
Does it matter if a lieutenant is and elite or not because sometimes the basics ones can have better ranks a regular spartan spearman could be purple but an elite spartan strageos is blue.
also would that effect them in combat on ships do the elite ones have more damage and health or is that thrown out once they are on your ship. Also just a little complaint I hate when some of my lieutenants jump over and immediately get knocked out for no reason.
I have a question about a perk. I recruited a dude last night that had 35% Health on all Marines. And I was wondering if that includes Lieutenants aswell? Ive heard people say that Mariens are all the people boarding a ship with you, so I was wondering if this 35% Health on all Marines includes Lieutenants too?

All my lieutenants are all legendary mercs with 4/5 stars and my roster is full. I hate how their char icons are generic.

You can also use the spartan kick or your fists to finish an ennemy without killing it.

I have over 120 legendary luietants mainly Merc and leaders. Good to let you mix and match.

Question: I unlocked Evie in Ubisoft club...but I can’t see to find her in the game to equipped... the game says “you may have to progress in the game to have access to this reward” or something and I’m lvl 50.. so how much progress do I need? Or do I need to finish the game in order to use her as a lieutenant?
jobanh7ify that’s pretty strange. I managed to have evie as my lieutenant right when I got the adrestia in the beginning of the game.
Go to shop and then on "owned" and check if u even added Evie in the game there
On the shop it says “owned” but I think the problem is that I didn’t had the assassins badge that the game is asking for it to unlock her until later on the game... and when I finally got the badge and unlocked her...the game told me that I need to progress more maybe because I break the game and it thinks that I don’t have the Adrestia or something... who knows? Lol
You don't need any progress, just go to ur ship customization and click on one of the lieutenants or on the empty field (if you hadn't equiped anybody) and click on her, she should be there
Yeah that’s the weird thing...she doesn’t appear there and I do “owned” her. In the club and store appears like that.
I don't know if they are stronger or not but when recruiting just the basic soldiers I always just get the elites but I don't know if that matters once they become a lieutenant
I recruited all the mercenary from tier 3 to 2 except exekios from tier 1 he is a cultist
1 time i found the perfect guy to recruit he got killed by wolf that came out of no where

Okay, i'll give a little tips for you guys since the next live event is right around the corner. How to get the best epic gears. Simply, fast travel to every Blacksmiths in the game because they're selling epic gears. Why spending your Orichalcum on Epic gears when you can buy it with Drachmae, that's a flawed system right there in Olympian Shop. Yay, end game farming everybody. Hope this help :)

Ohh LanLa you actually don’t even have to do that, you can save in front of the same blacksmith and check what he has, if he doesn’t have anything you want, reload and his stock will change.
Mark Hettenbach Did you play on PC or Console ? Because i already tried that and it didn't work. I'm playing on PC by the way and PC version is still 1.03. So, maybe Ubisoft tweaks something and didn't mention in the patch note for console.
@@markhettenbach3141 Doesnt work on PC. I actually started a new game, Found the closest blacksmiths next to fast travel points, and farm the blacksmiths everytime you level up. Got my full epic hunter gear this way by level 30.

I like the ones that we can get for free, and are easily missable story side characters, such as that smuggler who got a bear into a sacred land.

I use paralyzing arrow with the fanged bow but it kills my enemies. If I hives the perk ‘normal arrows become poisonous’ will my paralyzing Arrows kill enemies?
Mir Raiyan i don’t think so. Paralyzing arrows aren’t normal but honestly I’m not sure.

Forgot to mention that the golden star on the skill trees usually means a random skill that benefits either ramming, boarding or cleaving and such, I have a harem thing going on, strictly no men, pure woman crewed ship XD
Dude..... I have mixed men and women then I have used either daughter of Artemis or women coliseum fighter icons. All ship members becomes women and the fun fact is with women coliseum, they all wear very light outfits :)
Are the heads of state actually less resistant in fighting on ships as against the protagonist, and the mercenaries more resistant, or are they all equal when recruited?

I have an idea for you, start making videos about builds using rare pieces with legendary perks or sets just for looks, like one of the gladiator movie or stuff like that. Would be interesting to see what gamers use, I have not finished it yet and I think I have a good mixed set. But think about it.
Nah....All Epics. Legendary Gear is useless at the moment. Just get the engraving and throw it on your ship.

I have alexios on my ship and he also responses when I call a lieutenant. WIth his powers he just destroys people.
Does it matter if a lieutenant is and elite or not because sometimes the basics ones can have better ranks a regular spartan spearman could be purple but an elite spartan strageos is blue.
also would that effect them in combat on ships do the elite ones have more damage and health or is that thrown out once they are on your ship. Also just a little complaint I hate when some of my lieutenants jump over and immediately get knocked out for no reason.

I have a question about a perk. I recruited a dude last night that had 35% Health on all Marines. And I was wondering if that includes Lieutenants aswell? Ive heard people say that Mariens are all the people boarding a ship with you, so I was wondering if this 35% Health on all Marines includes Lieutenants too?
I hunted down all assassin's mercs, wearing the assassin's mask, to match my underworld package, couple of them are epic caracters, but they still flow with my river lol

Its very on and off. There are times i get chased and other times ive got full bar and noone comes

I have Athena,Artemis,Odesseus and Munis Mule(or the other lady goddess)and Pegasos just in case lol😅the ships I infiltrate never had a chance. Mind that I have four lieutenants slots for my ship. I let my lieutenants kill everyone on the ship while I wait on the adrestia..
