This show was before my time, but is one of my favorites. There is still around 40 shows or so that i have not found. This is the fist one that i have not seen anyplace else i n quite some time. Excellent
A precursor to "American Greed" narrated by Stacy Keach. Half of those shows are ponzi's. Some of those ponzi's were big , like Allan Stanford and Scott Menaged.
Originally telecast on May 29, 1952. 24:04- "I'm closing this case now......or rather, the courts will. But there'll be others. Because that's the way the world is built. Remember- there are people who can slap you on the back with one hand......and pick your pocket with the other. And it could happen to *YOU."* **stamps the file, "CASE CLOSED"** "See 'RACKET SQUAD' next week......Same Time- Same Station!"
Love this show, and yes someone beat me to saying this episode is loosely based on the original pyramid schemer, Charles Ponzi. I read a biography of him a few years back. Interesting at the end they openly admit they've used a pseudonym for the protagonist of the story.

th voice of Reed Hadly - ..."Rrrracket Squad" is iconic...
The film makes it look like it's the radio operator saying that, but I agree it's absolutely iconic.

Theme music from the original MUTEL production library. One actor was one of the Indians in the cast of the Ma & Pa Kettle movies.
"March of the Chessmen", by Herschel Burke Gilbert.
Anthony Caruso was a wonderful character actor, funny on The Abbott and Costello TV show!!
Even if this is restored, they started from a very clean print. Where did they get it?
15:47 love the revealing bathing costumes!
Hubba hubba
This story is based on Charles Ponzi.
