I agree with his stance on the play-in. Back in the bubble, not all teams had the chance to play the exact number of games so it made sense. But now that we're back to regular schedules, it doesn't make sense to give teams that are more than 4 games away from the 8th seed to be given a chance to make the playoffs. Imagine this: 7th seed has 50 wins. 8th has 42. 9th 40. 10th 35. It's unfair to include the 7th seed because they're 8 games up. It's also unfair to include the 10th seed because they're 7 games out.
Where would you put a LeBron statue? Cleveland, Miami, LA, or his next ring chase city? His time in LA doesn't qualify him in my mind compared to others. Cleveland, absolutely, but he walked away from them 2x. Miami, yes, but he left them too. Is giving players a statue a great idea? They already have huge egos.
