You can tell Gordon is trying to hide his smile after he cooks the first dish, dude has been cooking foorever and still seems to get rather giddy and cheerful when doing it. amazing.
Good food is always good.
One always stays cheerful when they do what they Love !! 🥰👍
He knows he has the gift.
It's what makes me enjoy his work the most, his joy and drive to do what he loves. Many could learn from him.
That's what I love about him. You can tell even after all these TV shows and restaurants he genuinely loves food and competition.
"Shake up your peanuts." Holy heck I heard that different
Naurrrr help i thought it was just me-
“Peanuts in!” 🥜😂
Peanus......🤣
Gordon says peanuts like penis and I find it hilarious how serious Gordon is
OMG it is
14:43
“penuts in”
child out!
Is that accent growing on you? 😂
i read this comment first and was like..hmm it cant be that bad. And then the first time he said it i fell of my chair
Peanus. 🤣
Spicy food: _burns my mouth_
Brain: Do it again!
Endorphins.~
Meanwhile my brain: I shouldn't have ate that, I should not have ate that
Brain: So good time 4 round 2
so sad...
Rinse and repeat….
This guy should be a chef, he cooks well
U guessed it correctly .........
You're right he should even open a restaurant
😐
I agree
Ye I think he could get like 16 Michelin star
UA-camrs: Hey guys, welcome back to my channel...
Gordon: Gonamakeareally nice light chilli sauce
Screw intros. I want the content asap
With peanus (peanuts)
"Rustic little mountain". Gordon is a silly child in the kitchen. If I didn't know he loved his craft I'd say he was a lunatic.
We're all a little insane
I'm not sure using poetic language makes someone insane:P
Today I got your book. I read a certain recipe on page 125 and thought "wow, I really want to make this for my girlfriend tomorrow" and what happens? You upload a video in which you actually prepare this dish (it's the last one, the steak-salat). Damn, I'm so lucky (since I'm a beginner I need all the help I can get). Thank you Gordon!
And how did it go?
I'm also curious how it went. :D
@@saltysalad3868
@Multiverse CODM
Hahaha thank you for your replies, I did not expect someone to actually take an interest in a random comment!
TL;DR: All in all, it went reeally well! She loved it! I got a big Gordon-bonus - I never thought I could cook something that tasted so delicious, seriously!
Long version:
It took me approxmately 1.5 hours yesterday to be honest, from prepping everything to serving. We just moved into a new appartment. So, after a day of cleaning everything, I cooked for the first time in our new kitchen!
Washing and prepping all the vegetables took me about 75 minutes I'd say, the remaining 15 minutes I spent on the steaks. We slightly deviated from the recipe though, as we added 1 additional garlic clove to the dressing. Pro-tip: If your significant other has a hard time with hot/spicy food, only take half a chili for the dressing. I used 3/4 and it was a little bit too hot, but we also added 1 slice of garlic bread to the meal, so that turned out nice! The steaks were thicker than the ones Gordon had in this video, so I put them in the oven after cooking them for another 5 minutes. They came out between medium rare and medium, which was exactly what she wanted!
She was absolutely stunned by the meal and said it reminds her of restaurant quality food. :D She was being sincere.
I want to emphasize: I really am a novice, I cannot even slice onions properly. So I'd say this was not only a compliment for me, but it was also a compliment to the stunning recipe Gordon provided us with. And I agree with my girlfriend, especially the dressing is really, really good. This explosion of flavours in your mouth... damn...
One last addition: The recipe states that the listed ingredients would be enough for 4 portions. With respect to the salad, we both thought the salad is enough for 6 people. :D We ate from it today, too, and there's still some left.
I can only encourage others to try and cook at least this dish! My experience in the kitchen is almost equal to 0, I think I can't tell the difference between well done and overcooked noodles, let alone make them. But that doesn't matter, even novices (apparently) can cook really tasty dishes... with a little bit of help. So try it, dare it, even/especially when it's scary to cook!
made the steak salad last week and it will be a BIG reason to keep thin steaks handy at all times. when he says don't overdress, he means it...caught that on 2nd watch after a waterlogged salad but still tasted great. super light, no oil in that dressing! (recipe is on his website for those who want written direction)
The salad was good. It’s a keeper
Does he have more written recipes?
Another reason to keep thin steaks on hand is because the prices are so high that the average family couldn't possibly afford 4 nice steaks for dinner nowadays.
@Icyy Hot Well no one's perfect man, just because he's a renowned chef doesn't mean he knows every single thing. Everyone can make a mistake no matter how small it is.
@Icyy Hot i like the taste of the seeds
His commentary while he cooks... Is all I'm here for 😁
It's really soothing tho.
Nvr in a million years would I have thought cooking was my favorite thing to do

Every time he says peanuts it sounds like penis and I can’t stop laughing
i like how pure and soft he is at home rather than on the show...it shows how much he cared for cooking
I just had a filling dinner, and I watch the master make a taco and I'm suddenly feeling hungry again. Bravo chef.
The secret is to watch his videos only while eating. Else you will end up binge eating.
The peanuts slide off, fail. 3:03
3:15, if your pan gets too hot take it off the burner, but he added oil to help it heat up
HE COOKS WITH PASSION 💜
Yeah he should become a famous chef
@@KermitOnAMoped he should write a cook book too
Look at his skills
He should also go to failing restaurants and help them

Gordon is my favourite chef ever ,his cooking mood is so awsome ❤❤❤❤👍
The salad with thin sliced carrot, palm sugar, mint and lime is just beautiful and can be found here at street shops just amazing
I've been cooking for the family a lot more now then ever. I have really bad stomach issues and processed food is really bad on me, pre sliced veggies are bad too. I've caught myself cutting whole lettuce now and had no issues after eating. I had a bad gal bladder and it also caused me to have bulimia, sometimes I would end up throwing up on a empty stomach many times. I've made food a lot more special to me now, and regret most of my "out to eat" food now. You need to cherish meals and make them as fresh as possible.
I like how calm and cheerful he looks in these videos
Gordon's favorite band of all time....Salt-N-Peppa
Since he is british, he probably likes some Spice Girls too
@@andrebauscher If he was American he would like fat girls
"The longer that chilly sauce sits there, the better it gets". "We've talked about this already, Chef.....its been a century now"
when he says a little touch of something you know that somethings is going to be multiplied at least by 5
Why do I watch these when I'm starving 😩.... Looks fantastic.
XD The "Knife" Sound Effects are awesome
As a mexican, I’m offended he used tongues to flip the tortilla lol
same 🙄
What should he have used instead?
@@archer7716 😂😂😂
I haven't watched that part of the video yet, but if he used his tongue to flip the tortilla, I'll be impressed.
Next, maybe he'll make lengua tacos and use tongs?
Gordon, my family and I have made so many amazing meals using your tips! Keep up the great work
My favorite thing about Gordan is his experience. "I fell in love with in Vietnam, and Cambodia" like jesus this guy has been places.
I love your food, I watch it over and over again when I open my eyes.
I can already hear Uncle Roger in the distance: Where your wok? WHERE YOUR WOK?!
lol
"Literally anything related to South East Asian cuisine"
GUYS IS THAT AN UNCLE ROGER REFERENCE HAHAHAH MSG HAHA WOK LOLOLOL
he's missing chili jam. maybe jamie oliver has some extra.

*haiyah* - Uncle Roger
Just watching one ☝️ of ur programs of kitchen nightmares in the uk 🇬🇧 lol 😂
Aww ur awesome Gordon 👌
Much love 💕
Gordon Ramsay has helped my cooking so much. I watched his series on Masterclass, an otherwise overpriced service that was well worth it for his class alone. What I learned was not recipes, but technique- methods, flavors, and organization.
Today I shop with my eyes open and feel the freedom to be creative, try new flavors and styles, and found the need to start my own herb garden. But most of all, now I never touch the stove until I've got my _mise en place_ !
On the other hand, I *really* need to bring Chef Ramsay here to Texas. We should have a little talk about tacos.
I don t coock the recipies like he does but I love the way he provides knowledge. Love to watch the videos to learn
say what you want but this man is just the greatest of all time
Unless he's making grilled cheese.
Even though he won't see this, I have a question for Gordon
Gordon, when you did Hell's Kitchen, from Season 1 did you learn from Michael to purposely forget something in the food to really train other chefs to be head chef?
im pretty sure he did learn that from michael, he said in an interview im pretty sure. like him doing that was the inspiration for gordon to impliment that into the show :)
Yes lol
Whenever Gordon says a "touch" of anything, he means like a whole tablespoon lol damn
Excellent. The salad was just out of the world.
If I lived in his neighborhood or was a friend of his children I'll be at the house everyday lol
“A touch of sugar” *Adds a heaping tablespoon*
I could watch Gordon cooking all night. Amazing Chef
"1st chilli, cut...the seeds very powerful" 😆😆
I subscribed and set my notifications for all of his videos. He is an inspiration, not because of his shows but because of his heart and tenacity. I have never had an opportunity to witness someone reach for their dreams achieve them, and motivate others to do the same. Simply worthy of so much more praise, but he doesnt need it because he knows he was destined for greatness.
Cringe

He should come out with a show, he knows what he's doing
Yeah he should he would become famous
Except when it comes to Mexican food 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He should open a restaurant too 😳
Man you just make it look so effortless what you did in 10mins would take me forever lol just an amazing chef and person
Genius !! The only British chef who appreciates chillies the right way.
Omg, making that fish tomorrow for my mom. Yum!!! ❤️
Omg exciting recipes. My kids have watched cooking show’s since they were very young… you have made a huge difference in or kitchen and our lives ty
:c I can't because anxiety, everyone looks too much at what I'm doing.

This man really loves foodstuff. Everything he slices and arranges he finds beautiful and delicious. And I BET IT IS!
He's a man with such overwhelming passion.
Cooking the tortilla on the gas stove open fire hit home for me.👏👏👏
Lmao. I’m watching this while I make a ham, cheese, and egg sandwich
Hey! Maybe is not fancy but sure is delicious! ☺️ ✌️
I've watched him eating ramon noodles for dinner. Lol
This is more of Thai food or Southeast Asian food than those of Jamie Oliver's. This is why I love chef Ramsay's cooking. 🧡
Not even close to thai food but I can still noticed that He probably modified things he used to taste back in thailand to suit his taste and choice
It's looking good tho
It at least looks and will taste mostly according to thai pallet
@@HaradaCh there is a slight influence the man has traveled the world and he is very good at adding a twist to a well known dish
i really miss videos like these. We need more in his old kitchen. I watched some already 2 or more times
Thank you for sharing the way of cooking this dish and your lovely mischievous SMILE at the end...
The salad and fish looked perfect, but the tacos were kinda lacking
Bro really said Gordon's food is lacking😭
Anything else would take away from the marinated steak
@@thabisoenock2381 they were lacking. I'm sure they tasted great, but just incredibly simple. Basic protein, flavored mayo, and lightly dressed cabbage. It's literally what I make when I don't feel like cooking, which, to my mind, means they shouldn't be on a cooking show, they lack excitement or something. Since he was using all those asian flavors, it would have been nice to see some kind of asian/mexican fusion salsa instead of the mayo, which is just the most basic sauce in the world.
Thank you this is exactly what I was thinking. I live in San Diego and tacos are a staple food here. His tacos looked good but they are definitely not authentic like something you would get at a real Mexican restaurant. It seemed more like an English-ized take on tacos
100000% agree sorry but those who know tacos know those were lacking .
Gordon is a way better chef than jamie olive oil ❤️
I didn't know there was a chef called Jamie olive oil....

I love this. I’m a fan of Gordon Ramsay.
I’d like to know where he got that mortar and pestle and where I can buy it?
They sell a bunch of different ones on amazon
Lari Albright thx, I’ll check there again.:) Any time I’ve looked they were all small in size. He seems to always have the larger ones I’ve tried to look for

that steak salad is a life changer... Can easily be upgraded to taste (arugula salad in your "salad mix" is a level up to me...) Verstaile, easy, fast, pleases everyone (country/region wise)...
A major winner for me to be the chef of tonight's party, is this recipe.
Thanks Gordon
Gordon Ramsay is my favorite chef, watching his videos inspired me to start cooking. Now I can eat Michelin star food at the comfort of my home for half the price.

I'm Mexican and I like this!! Excellent new take on a taco and yes the tortilla cooked on the fire or on grill taste way better the flame adds flavor. The fish sauce just gives more of that Unami taste excellent
Gotta love this dude. That olive oil always, damnit though, not for everything. At least he isn’t a fucking tobacco executive, we’d all be dead.
Everyone: olive oil
Grodon: olevol
PS Gordon's been my go-to chef for everything but Italian cuisine for a while now, and he's never failed to delight.
Gordon: just a couple tablespoons
Also Gordon: *pours 6 gallons*
I always get so hungry while watching these videos
I normally don't eat many veggies but seeing his cooking i can EAT ANY THING HE MAKES ('he makes')
I was amaze that everything he teaches his colleagues in Hell's kitchen are really that significant and has a lot of impact on the cooking process. Amazing chef ! 💖
Hello my friend how are you doing?
Congrats on 18 Million Subscribers!
This video actually taught me how to shape a taco
WOW..Awesome. Wonderful cooking as always.
This guy has the potential to be a cook, he chefs well.
"First of chilli, off with the head"
Spicy food is Gordon's kryptonite he would literally die in Thailand
I'm certain he's been in Thailand. In addition, taste is something personal you know perhaps what you consider spicy may be mild for another or vice versa. To me, I'm in huge love with spicy food, I'd love to travel and discover the southeastern cuisines alongside with Mexican and South American or any other place that really is known for its spicy food.
He has been all over the world and has certainly tasted southeastern Asian cousins
My family loves when I try out these recipes you share. Thank you
Gordon: a little touch of sugar
Also Gordon: puts in a spoonful of sugar
7:57 “use some tongs, so as not to burn yourself”
Gordon why would you be worried about that?
The audio alone makes me salivate
Just vibe so much with his cooking style
me: watches video
my new hobby: cooking
Gordon already knows his food is going to taste good so he says mmmm before he tastes his food.
me: *this guy seems nice, he is showing us how to cook*
the narrator: little did he know...
This guy seems good at cooking he should open a restaurant
Gordon is nothing without his little bit of Olive Oil 😂
I've purchased charcoal briquettes that were less burnt than those taco shells, Gordon. lol
his taste right now mixed everything. Asian food, western etc
"Weow. That's delicious."
Lovely 👌🏻 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a wonderful day everyone 🌻
It's a pleasure to watch Gordon's video!
They all look amazing 👏
His “little touch” is a full tablespoon.
This is just fabulous, delicious cooking with spices.
The secret to cooking with spice is for the cooking to be spicy. Literally. Beautiful.
One chili is hardly cooking with spice. The whole of Asia is waiting for the show to start.
Vietnamese people love gordon, hope one day soon gordon will visit Vietnam again.
I remember watching a Jamie Oliver video, and the first thing he did with spice is to remove the seed. LMFAO
1:48 for the what and chilli!??!!
can't wait to try the taco. would like to know how you use a reaper pepper?? growing a few and made some nice reaper olive oils and sauces from them now running out of ideas
