Vikrant Massey is an actor to stay for longer. 12th Fail was one of the best movies of the year. Doubt if anyone else could have pulled it off the way he did. Continue to choose movies different from others.

When he said he worked at 15 and all that, I'm like in other countries 15 yr old should work and start being responsible and its normal. Majority have feeling of independence and need to move away from their parents influence. Not everybody is brought up being sheltered and living with their parents forever getting things on a platter.

For abhishek, guru and raavan is where he had to transform due to not being the best actor until a director like Mani Ratnam comes along. When actors are repetitive and or typecasted, it becomes a challenge to just get a role and be part of a film where they have no choice but to actually work on the craft which majority actors ignore. Many are like abhishek who take years in his case 20yrs to realize he has to work on his craft.

People like abhishek which is majority of bollywood are not good in their craft so their definition of acting is working in shifts, dancing, lip sync, looking like a hero and spending time on offscreen image. Of course if one is not educated about their profession then they have to resort to doing 100 things to compensate for lack of training. Vikrant, prateik Gandhi and even irfhan khan can do one great performance due to their knowledge of their craft then majority of bollywood stars does in 20 yrs.

Excellent dialog and "style" used by the host The host creates a more level field, that enables the guests to feel comfy and free to open up. He does not mount them on a pedestal.

omg bhumi still trying to sell TYFC as path breaking cinema..she just comes off pretentious and trying to sound intellectual. The others were genuine but i feel she has off late been trying to be PC-II
You always knew but its vehemently attested now by themselves.. that Bollywood actors have no idea about real acting or real film making outside of the appearance or glamour.. i thought Bhumi was a good actor but her long drawn out speech says she's no better than the others when it comes to personality. Only saving grace is Konkana.. lot of respect for her work and her insights during this conversation. Vikrant was ok but it seemed like he was trying to please Abhishek and also play homage to Anupama Chopra (she is Vinod Chopra's wife but is not connected to his film and is another critic so i dont get why he brought up her. Maybe still need more yrs of exp for him to know what a round table is)
Lastly Baddy..oh Baddy.. i could see how helpless you were but we expect a lot from you and this Round Table was sooo bad (due to the participants) sadly.
Excellent dialog and "style" used by the host The host creates a more level field, that enables the guests to feel comfy and free to open up. He does not mount them on a pedestal.
I wish the guests realised it’s Rangan that is interviewing them and let him speak and comment on their films (I mean i would have grilled him if I was in front of him, just to get to learn so much about films / film appreciation and performances)
