    Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a multinational organization in IT Services, Consulting and Business Solutions. They have over 469,000 of the world’s best-trained consultants in 46 countries. India has always been the back-office of the world. TCS Limited was founded or organized in 1968 by the division of Tata Sons Limited. TCS had early contracts included punched card services to sister‘s company TISCO (now Tata Steel), working on an Inter-Branch reconciliation System for the Central Bank of India and providing bureau services to Unit Trust of India. In 1981, it realized the real cash is abroad and established India's first client-dedicated offshore development center, set up for clients Tandem.

    Being a TCSer for ~3.5 years, I can vouch for some facts!!! Although, luckily I didn't sit on bench for even a day, THE ILP program changed me to a good extent, the base salary & services and the old tagline 'Experience Certainty' which we internally called for employees as 'Experience Uncertainty' due to many factors!!!
    The main thing to note is that they are trying to keep their clients & shareholders happy at the cost of their employees sometimes! The attrition, due to that, is high now!!!

    I guess I'm going to get hate for this, but as a software engineer myself I personally consider TCS an employee exploiting company, especially for freshers. Treating individuals as commodities, hiring 3x and putting many people at bench, paying quite literally peanuts (3.5L for high-skilled labor, seriously?) is not the way companies should be run. No amount of HR fun sessions can outcompete the mental stress the individuals would be having to go through under these circumstances.
    I also do not agree with paying "lower salaries" either. Your pay should always be a percent of the avg value you bring to the table.
    Looking at the products exposed to us like the ITR website, it's pretty clear they build mediocre products to no one's surprise.
    I can't be proud of an org being so successful from our nation if it comes at such a cost, specially to human lives

What makes a difference is your daily needs. Food, shelter, clothing, even water is expensive to buy in the US. People give this excuse of better standard of living only to go abroad and do odd jobs. Belive me most Indians abroad are just barely surviving there. All they are focused on is saving as much money as possible so that they can return back someday and be rich here.

    Honestly speaking, the rhythm of this song clicked the most and I humm it now and then. I would say in my personal opinion that you folks should try to generate songs which have a rhythm and slightly easier lyrics like this on has in the beginning. Another amazing thing would be to have you intermediate stories or skits in form of parts of the song itself. And then you combine all of them in a single song which you add in the end of the video :) .
    Things turn out well, then you can add those song videos as independent shorts/videos later on. I would love to have them as music playlist.

    such a fun video. Just a correction: TCS now doesn't train for 3 months at campus. Infosys does that. ILP is now just condensed on digital platforms like xplore, for coding skills. For business communication, there is only a week's training, after which there is a test. Employees who don't pass it are subjected to another week of training, hence, saving them costs and helping them deploy freshers on live projects sooner.

  • @AshwiniKumarS
    @AshwiniKumarS Рік тому +1

    I joined as fresher in TCS and worked for 3 and half years. I passed out during recession period when no companies other than service companies would hire. TCS hire people with excellent communication to pretty poor communication skills and train them along with coding. I work in captive company now. Here in captive companies the look and communication accent plays a much important role.
    One problem in TCS and other service based companies is you might end up in no learning project for too long but even opposite happens. If services based companies wouldn't been there many wouldn't have got opportunity to train themselves for better pay in few years
    Though this cannot be used to approve shady practices of middle management
