I giggled when you said that because your Sterling Ink spreads are #goals and nothing about them comes off as uninspired! ❤ But I totally understand the feeling you described. Always love your creativity- whether you’re happy with it or not. I don’t think you can do a bad spread if you tried. Haha

There's a good chance that I am also a bit stuck in my own head and that in a few weeks or so I look at them quite differently. So much of our relationship to our journals is feeling based. And I'm glad to hear that they're still inspiring to you :)
Your journals looked so charming and freestyle, I had no idea you were struggling! I always feel like a bit of a copycat (hah) after watching your videos, now I want to put a little watercolour pattern along my pages too. Enjoy the Traveler’s notebook! My favourite notebook is an amazing onionskin paper notebook my friend made for me, and now I’m always a bit sad when my other notebooks don’t crinkle and rustle when I flip them back and forth. My favourite coffee is a dirty chai latte. Thanks for another lovely video!
Thank you for your kind comment! Please give the watercolor pattern a try! It's so fun and effective! I have seen other UA-camrs work in onionskin notebooks and the crinkle really seems quite satisfying. And what is in a dirty chai latte? I've never heard of that before.
I abandoned my Hobonichi Cousin two days ago, and switched to journaling in Traveler's Notebook instead! I love the free format 😊

@@MaikeOatley I made a new insert with a mix of papers from other TN inserts (kraft, cream, turquoise)

Have you tried the Midori B6 slim? I love the size. I feel the a6 is too small and the b6 is too big. Good luck!
Yes I have last summer I think and I quite enjoyed it. You're right it is quite a good inbetween size. If the TN doesn't work out for some reason, I'll give the B6 slim another go. Thank you for watching!
