Hello . Love your videos . A hint / Tip while peeling the stuck bag off your block of soap use the heat from a hairdryer to warm it a little for easier removal. Thx! 🎉🎉
Thank you- what a fantastic tip! I'll give it a try soon. 🥰😍❤
Terry, that was an AWESOME Q&A! As always, I learned a ton!
The podcast format is an excellent idea! Having Mr Soaps and Such, a.k.a. Mister Soapy, (do you remember Mr. Bubble bubble bath, or was that before your time?) , brings a lot of dimension to the conversation! In other words, that was really fun! That hour flew by!
Thank you very much for answering all my questions. I have taken copious amounts of notes, and will try to incorporate all of it as I move forward. I have 20 pounds to rebatch, so the advice will come in handy!
And this is where I thank you again for both the videos and for patiently answering all my questions this past year. I appreciate you so much, and I look forward to the next chapter in this soapy journey!
Rocci will be so happy to have Mister Soapy joining in the fun, and I think a lot of the guys will as well.
Well, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ! Time for you guys to go celebrate! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉You put so much work into that Q & A! (And btw the little faces when you put the bars sise-by-side were amazing weren't they?!)
Have a happy week! 🌞💝🌞💝🌞
Thank you so much, my friend! We had a ball making that, so glad you & Rocci enjoyed it!
I definitely remember Mr. Bubble, but alas, I could never use Mr. Bubble- as my skin sensitivities were there from the beginning. My mom tried so hard to recreate the look and experience of a real bubble bath that wouldn't cause me issues, but the products that are available now, with more mild surfactants, weren't on the market, back in my day! 🤣
Looking forward to teaching the guys- guess I have to get my act together now! Thanks again for everything- your support, feedback and friendship are treasured! 🥰❤
@@msTsoap Yes WE certainly did!
Thanks! We had a good time making it. We both kind of wanted to do podcasts, but did not have the right idea. Then this Q & A appeared and we needed someone to read the questions. Enter...ME! So glad you liked it!
My fireplace soap is setting!!! So excited and anxious!! :)
Woo-hoo! 😍😍😍
Happy 1st Anniversary!! 🥳 I have enjoyed this discussion!!
Thank you so much!!! So glad you enjoyed our ramblings, we had some serious fun gabbing about soap! 😘
Yay!!! So excited listening now. Happy 1 year anniversary!!!!!🎊 ❤🎉
Thank you so much! 🥰 We had so much fun doing this! (except for the audio technical drama! 🤣) ❤
I LOVE Koala Soap too! I didn’t know Dean was back! Woohoo!
YES, but he just injured his back, so there may be a slight delay in more posting. Poor guy. 😪
Thank you for answering my question. So my take away is you use rubbing alcohol for finger prints and some form of a lint free cloth. Great video ❤
You're welcome- I did answer your second question closer to the end. Yes, that's what I have to do in lieu of gloves. Thank you so much for the great questions and for watching and engaging! 😊🥰❤
Thank you. I was interrupted I missed it I will go back and listen 💕
I think you both doing the videos is a great idea. The fact that besides you, Ms. Terry you mentioned my other two favorite melt and pour soap makers koala and Dean Wilson made me smile. But the fact you knew jerrica and her hubby from Canada and love them, makes me believe because the two of them work so well and Interact on some of her videos, that you two would do a great job doing some as well. Wonderful idea, and one I am voting for. 😘🥰
Thank you so much!!! We both enjoy their dynamic so much and I love how they share their personal stories with us. Also, thanks for including me among your favorites, it's a true honor. Thank you for watching and for the vote! ❤🥰😘
I am so sorry, just got to the part where you answered my question, and had no idea it repeated itself. I was the one asking about the classes.
@@rebeccafisher1558 no worries, it just sounded like you REALLY wanted those classes! 😁It was fun, and I hope the answer made sense and wasn't too rambling! We sure appreciated the question!🥰
Yes of course it did. But Im not going to let you forget about it.. just have to remind you every now and then. 😂😂
@@rebeccafisher1558 It's totally fine! It actually worked out being kind of a cute funny moment. Thanks so much for the question!
Oh Wow!! I learned a lot from those 3 as well!! yes, I'm glad he is back as well:)

I make felted soaps with M & P! Love them !!
YAY! Do tell! Do they last longer? Have you made any videos creating them? Inquiring minds want to know... 😂
I am not brave enough to make videos yet.. 😅
They do last quite awhile and I leave mine in the shower all the time. I use the Triple Butter base and the Goat’s Milk base (Crafters Choice) and I have two 4 ounce soaps that are over 3 months old and still lather well and smell great 👍🏻
@@CustomSudsSoapCo that is GREAT to know- thank you for sharing! It only took me three years to get up the nerve to make videos, LOL! 🤣
Great Q & A video! And the soap turned out gorgeous! 🤩
Thank you so much! We had a LOT of fun making this one! 🥰
Love this guys! :)
Thank you so much, we really had a blast! 😍
Thanks for another fab video 😁
Looking forward to seeing the videos on the high melting point soap base!!!
I use the Stephensons ultra clear vanilla stable base so that’ll come in extremely useful indeed 😘
Thank you, glad you liked it! 🥰 I am going to have fun experimenting and getting back to the feel of that soap- it's been a hot minute! 😁
You might regret that statement after trying it out again 😂.
It however, makes me very happy lol

Beautiful soap. Great informations !❤❤
I'm so glad it was helpful to you! Thank you, and thanks for watching! 🥰
Also happy 1 year!
Thank you, my friend! 🥰
I forgot to mention on my last comment, I was thrilled to see you use Zenicolor. I just received my first box of it today! I can't wait to start making soap with it!
AWESOME! It's really cool stuff! I will be using more in the very near future. I hope to see your soaps in one of the groups! 😁
Yes, I too am having difficulty, in Canada, buying Crystal Clear Glycerine soap!!
The struggle is real, Kim. The struggle is real. 😪
Loved the interaction with you and Mr Soap and Such. My husband and I enjoy your videos. ❤
Thank you- we are so thrilled to have a good response from this, we actually had such a blast filming it! Thank you to you and your hubby for watching! We have several "couple" followers now and it really warms our hearts! ❤🥰
Great video guys 💜💙. Congratulations 🎉
Thank you so much! We really appreciate your support and encouragement! 🥰❤
Enjoyed the Q&A! It was informative and the two of you are cute & funny. 👍🏾💕💕
LOVED the soaps you created during the Q&A! 👏🏾💕💕
Q1: Is this the new swirl technique you mentioned in your heat gun colors in an oval soap mold video?
Q2: Approximately how long were you trying to wait in between your pours? I suppose it will vary by soap base type.
Q3: Could you have used mica for the colors instead of the liquid color? I’ve only ever used Mad Mica’s mica colors not their neons or micas w/polyurethane. I’ve also only done two color swirls using Shea for white without fragrance and a translucent base with mica color & fragrance. Have never experienced any bleeding.
Thank you! We've had a lot of fun doing these together!
This isn't a new swirl, just a take on the Acorn Swirl. I'd have to go back and watch to see what I'm referencing, but it's probably my marbling technique. If you check out my pink marble soap or Caribbean sunset soap, those both use that technique- also marbled galaxy and my nebula soaps.
It really does vary by soap type and seasonal temperatures. It's supposed to be 10-15 minutes before adding the second layer, or when a pencil eraser "bounces back" from the soap- I used the end of my silicone spatula, because it's a similar texture and softness. Second layer is supposed to be a bit less, but the same "bounce". Basically a thick skin. I usually wait a little too long and get this chunky effect- which I also really like, LOL.
I usually use mica, not Zenicolor- which does NOT bleed- that's why I used it instead of liquid. I just wanted to play with it in a swirl. I don't use liquid for swirls due to the bleeding.
Thanks for watching and for the questions! ❤🥰
I enjoyed the video. Thanks for covering my question! I give a thumbs up to the podcast style and would enjoy having more of them in the future. I find this q&a style very helpful and love your thorough answers. ❤
Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm so glad you liked it, because we had so much fun making it! Thanks for watching and submitting a question. 🥰😘
Thanks! This may have created a new podcast for us! I created this channel for this so...here we go!
Thank you! It was fun listening to you both. Appreciate the Great ideas from you both! 🩵
Thank you so much! We really had fun, too! And thanks for contributing with your great question! ❤❤❤
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Do you have any tips for adding herbs and florals into them to prevent them from getting slimmy
My best tip is don't add herbs and florals. 😥 Sadly, most botanicals will rot in melt and pour soap and can be very dangerous to use for anyone with sensitivities to mold, mildew, etc. You can use a few things, but most of the time people using flowers/herbs in soap are making cold processed soap. It can take a while to rot in MP, so many people get pictures before they turn and that's what you see them post, you'll even see stunning pics on pinterest, but they never show a month later "after" pics. Calendula petals and blue cornflower (true blue cornflower, not dyed) are ok for MP, no herbs. Some other botanical materials that usually work are oats (rolled, old fashioned, colloidal, but NOT instant or quick), dry coffee grounds, poppy seeds, apricot seed powder, black walnut hull powder, luffa, sea sponges, and that's all I can think of off the top of my head. You can also add clays and activated charcoal. Keep in mind, companies encouraging this are usually also selling the botanicals. I hope this helps. 🥰
Do I need to add preservative with melt and pour?
No, it is preserved due to the pH level of soap. Just avoid adding things like flowers (except calendula petals or blue cornflower petals). Most botanicals will rot, even if you add a preservative. You can use certain types of oatmeal/oats, coffee grounds, poppy seeds, clays, luffa, sea sponges, salts (not Epsom, though), sugar, among other things, but take the time to learn about types and amounts. Hope this helps you! 🥰
Thank you so much. I appreciate your sharing. I need to spray the alcohol in my flower mold before pouring in soap. Do I need to put in anything else to prevent it sticking to mold?
@@bettinawong3501 no, not if the mold is silicone. 🥰
Beautiful soap! Thank you!
I have Zeni colorants too. Can we use as much as we want, until achieving a deep colour? It woon't bleed or affect the skin?
According to the package, you can add enough to achieve the desired shade. There were no specific skin safety warnings or other warnings. I would just advise that you keep in mind the amount of recommended additives for your brand of soap base. I used a LOT in this soap, way more than I normally do, and it all behaved really well.
@@msTsoap thank you!
Happy Aniversary and best wishes!
