The healing phase of a shocking event in your life…Tom’s accident…IS the Boogey Virus. No such thing as “catching” it from another person. In a sterile hospital?! Who is gullible enough to believe they “catch”things. The Germ Theory is FRAUD!!
Tommy was trying the dunk at 9 ft 3 inches ... Leaving "9 inches" ... From 10 feet?! Learning that detail while on with Sickler ... How ironic. Maybe they should have been listening to James Brown "Get up" when attempting that dunk
People do not get sick from germs and diseases are not "catchable." Disease starts in the brain with a traumatic, unexpected and stressful event? The best example and most commonly referred to mass illness event was the Great Flu of 1918. It set the stage for the current dogma that the "flu" has a season....fall. The flu of 1918 began in the fall, but what else was of great significance that also occurred during the same time in 1918?? The German Chancellor officially announced the end of World War I. Two weeks following that announcement, millions and millions of people who were directly affected by the very first World War went into the healing phase. The healing phase of a Territorial Fear is Bronchitis and flu-like symptoms. The healing phase of being scared to death for yourself or someone you love is pneumonia and tuberculosis, and lung tumors. None of these symptoms will appear when someone is in the conflict stage. All of them appear when you go thru the healing phase and the conflict is resolved. So millions of people began with these very serious illnesses given the length of time the war lasted, and this was all before the invention of antibiotics in 1929 which would have helped most people. This was also a time of food rationing, so the proper amount of protein needed when a tumor begins to degrade wasn't available. More people died in Europe than the US because the war was fought over there. And from that very event, we are told all around the world to get our vaccinations to prevent something that is directly caused by the things happening only in our own lives such as the disappointment of the end of summer, the trauma of a child starting school for the first time who doesn't want to go, the stress of having a new school routine after leisure time all summer.....can you see the pattern here? If you cannot "catch" cancer, arthritis or diabetes from another person, then you cannot "catch" a cold or flu. There is no such thing that only SOME diseases are communicable, but not all. Everything is based on the Germ Theory that was never proven to be 100% accurate from the very beginning.
The whole part about Tom being emotionally overwhelmed after the injury is so real. That happened to one of my best friends when he got in a horrific car crash while driving to my house. He got so much nicer and more grateful for life. And since I felt connected with it happening sort of because of me, I had some very similar emotional and personality changes too. It’s crazy.
Broken neck, here. Can confirm these are real feelings. I want to elaborate SO badly, but I also don't want to type out a 2 page report in the comments. Happy Sunday Funday, everyone!
I broke my neck a while back. People said I would get fatter, including the doctors. But I actually lost 40lbs instead. It was awesome. It just sucks I had to paralyze myself to lose the weight lol.
This was one of the best episodes of any podcast I've heard in a very long time. You can definitely notice the change in Tom's personality since he got hurt.
i want a channel where people just tell their "wow bert is dumb" stories. former co-workers, classmates, airport employees, his dentist, Leannes stories, his daughters stories... ETC.
I just want to thank C&T for giving this man a platform and supporting him. Ryan is now one of my favorite people. He's such a sweet man and I love his laugh. I always feel better when Listen to him.
One of my all-time favorite podcasts. I love the way Tommy tells stories, all the different events and characters, Bert being fucking Bert and of course Ryan co-piloting is just perfect. I laughed so much
Bert is honestly the best friend anyone could ask for... Man, huge respect! That is something you don't just find anywhere. What a guy! Glad you still continue to get better Tim. Best decision to leave that fuckin' hospital.
Bert Tom and Ryan are like looking at the the evolution chart in real time We started as Bert then things got pretty good around Tom and now we are rockin' it as Ryan
On a real note though; PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get together and write some sketches again, youre guys short videos absolutely make me cry every time I watch!! Much love guys!
I had a massive ovarian cyst rupture last month that filled my abdominal cavity with fluid. I was in probably the worst pain I have ever been in, in my life. After hours in the ER they gave me dilaudid and Tom's description is exactly right. The nurse that gave it to me was wonderful. She told me exactly what to expect. You feel warm, and a heaviness in your face, throat and chest, usually a wave of nausea, then the pain either goes away or you just don't care about it anymore. I still had discomfort, but I didn't care about it. It wasnt keeping me from resting or relaxing anymore, which was such a relief because I was about to hit the 24 hour mark of being in excruciating pain. The fluid in my abdominal cavity had kept me from laying down, because when I would, I couldn't breathe and it sent intense shooting pains into my chest. The fluid was pressing on my diaphragm and making it pretty much impossible to get a full breath. Finally being able to lay down, even if it meant taking shallow breaths, was fucking priceless after being in pain for 23 hours and being unable to let my body relax.
Every time these gentlemen connect its magnetic, what funny individuals these are. Always happy to receive another episode of the honey dew podcast, thank you!
You guys are so much fun to watch. I really enjoyed Tom telling the Dunk Champ story again (I’ve heard the story a few times). This was the best Before, During and After account. BTW: Watched “9 inches” yesterday. OMG 😱 HILARIOUS 🤣.
not that i wanted this, but did anyone else kinda expect to see Tom cry his jeans off here? it’s just that Sickler is so good at carrying funny yet deeply emotional conversations, often evoking tears & profound tear jerking moments...& we know Tommy Buns went through a lot from his trauma
I broke a finger. A FINGER! And it changed the way I needed to do things. Including wiping my ass with the left hand...that was hard at first. I can't imagine breaking my arm, or worse.
It's a documentary called "year of the bull", I think. They watched it together back in the day, and still quote it back to each other. The doc is basically a football team with coaches who cuss at the kids way too hard.
would love to hear an interview with the Surgeon. Tom has spoken so highly about the Surgeon and his staff this whole time. Glad they took care of our Jeans.
I've heard how Tom broke his leg and arm but hearing him tell it in more detail was the greatest, especially when sickler starts laughing. OMFG This was the funniest story. Thanks for the laugh

Why do you have someone take the time to time stamp the video AND post a time stamp list. You on the man! Be more famous!
These two need their own podcast, “ The Honey Bear” plz make it happen

@@mikedassatti also perfectly acceptable.
