- Today I can present to YOU the full Drive & Sound with the all-new 2018 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS delivering 450 hp and 550 Nm of torque. We've picked up the car in Stuttgart and did the roadtrip all the way up to northern Germany. Of course the GTS is epic as it has more grunt than the C4S, pulls better, sounds better and still drives comfortable in all situations. The Targa of course adds this nostalgic element which makes it a true 911 that people are turning their head for...simply epic! Naja abgesehen von den GT Fahrzeugen und dem Turbo (S).
Eigentlich bin ich BMW M Fan aber ich konnte diesen 911er einfach nicht wiederholen und holte mir den aber in Kreide Weiß also absolut top Maschine und hab jedes Mal mega Spaß dran 🤩

I think it's mainly because most people commenting have never heard any high performance sports cars in real life but only heard them on youtube and take the word from extremely jaded motor reporters that are using extreme termes to get their point across. I say most - not all. UA-cam does not convay how any car sounds because of recording devices. I saw a guy commenting that the Porsche 911 turbo S sound was "lame" and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner :) A friend of mine has one. It might not be the loudest car but it is PRETTY fucking loud compared to any normal car on the street. It's the "Jeremy Clarkson" effect. It makes people stupid.

Listen to a 991.1 with Techart or Akrapovic exhaust. Its sounds million times better than this turbo engine.

Targa 4s 420 with stage 1 goes faster thanthe GTS so there is no problem for what you say in the description. The difference between GTS with 4s is an ecu and the wheels nothing else

Schade das sich dass Knallen bei Gasrücknahme immer gleich anhört. Sehr monoton und nervig, der Klang an sich ist super geil, aber das Knallen muss nicht sein, jedenfalls nicht so.

Einer der schönsten die Porsche zu bieten hat, aber gerade der Sound in Verbindung mit der Schubabschaltung ist mir einfach zu statisch. Hat mir schon beim S63 letztens nicht wirklich gefallen als du durch den Tunnel "geknallt" bist.. Wirkt zu programmiert für meinen Geschmack!

Von außen ist der Klang gar nicht meins, aber innen passt es auf alle Fälle. Wie schon mal erwähnt, ich bin absoluter Sauger-Fan und da kommt der B6 Turbo nicht ran.
Geht Dach auf und zu auch während der Fahrt und wenn ja bis zu welcher Geschwindigkeit?
Dach auf zu nur im Stand, fahr mal einen 991 GTS Sauger und danach den Turbo, Du wirst Deine Meinung zum Sound definitiv ändern. Die neuen sind primär laut.
All in all definitely one of the most beautiful in all aspects car you can buy!

Welchen porsche findest du soundtechnisch besser den turbo s oder den gts? Finde den gts vom sound deutlich schöner, der turbo klingt so blechig während der gts schön sportlich klingt und schön brabbelt
4gsipodtouch Ich habe vom 991.1 GTS zum 991.2 Turbo Coupé gewechselt und war anfangs im Alltag echt etwas „enttäuscht“ aber von km zu km liebe ich diesen eigenständigen Turbosound mehr - dieses böse fauchen

Man könnte fast den Eindruck bekommen, dass dieser Wagen nur mit Vollgas und Drehzahlen über 4000 U/min zu fahren ist. Cruisen ist heutzutage nicht mehr angesagt. Schade.
Wahrscheinlich weil sich der Turbo bei geringeren Drehzahlen noch schlechter anhört. Ich bin ihn auch Probe gefahren und das Turbo Pfeiffen ist allerübelst.
