Here is a classic from 1998! It is very much a product of the time with some cool elements...even if it is a bit looooong. :) Please enjoy!
Thanks so much for the support, I couldn't do this without the Patrons!
Please check out this band's original video in the link below:

Notes: From my favorite era of the band- when they began shedding the visual kei style. I feel Sugizo deserves a fair listen. Classic jrock solo also.
If you would like to support me without a commitment, there is always the Super Thanks button under the video! (The artist gets the revenue from my reaction videos)

You only need one video about Miyavi to complete The Last Rockstars, LOL. My goodness, I haven't listened to Luna Sea in a century. They sound different to me now than they did five years ago...
The guitar solo is clearly the best part, hands down
Like you said, this song is a product of it's time. Nothing really bad about it, but fortunately Japanese rock was evolving towards new and more interesting places during the early 2000's
@@rocotocloc this song has interesting instrumental sound, but the melody dynamic just sounds boring to me.
my fav aspect of luna sea back in the day was the interplay of the 2 guitars sometimes playing very different variations at the same time while still complimenting each other. i hear a LOT of sugizo in juko's soloing. the guitar solo (and even the backing music / spoken word during the solo) in brilliant city feels like a luna sea tribute haha. luna sea's singer is also amazing, but that's more apparent in live performances.
I hear that in MANY Japanese bands. X Japan had tons of hide x Pata play. Dir wn grey is incessantly Karou x Die.
Kanami is heavily influenced by SUGIZO. You can tell by listening to some LUNA SEA songs.
the sugizo influence on juko from sokoninaru is really strong too
😀I would love to hear from you
This is an indie band that is not famous even in Japan.
Listen to 33Insanity's Vertebra/Brain Washing
There's nothing to listen to, right? Of course, if you listen to Band Maid,
It is disrespectful as a musician to advance a song and finally, if you are a musician, analyze the melodies and counterpoints in the song, not everything in music is acrobatic acts like in band maid or babymetal
Damn, after 570 videos you would think I would know what I was doing! 🤣
@@RyanMear the number of videos you've made is irrelevant regarding your ability to objectively analyze music. that is poor logic
LOL, a year later.......The song was boring me and I jumped right to where I knew the bridge would be, because it was predictable. Did I mention their skills and talent? Yes. Did I acknowledge their influence? Yes.
My suggestion is to join a Livestream on Tuesday and see what goes on.
Luna Sea、他にもいい曲たくさんあるんだけどね。
定番のRosier、True blue以外にもEnd of Sorrow、Desire、Slave、Mechanical Dance、Jesusなどなど。
時代の産物で流してしまうのは残念。
Guitarists were fun to watch.. fav part
These music just do not hit you like those power chord driven songs do. Ultimately the 90s/00s J-rock format ain't your cup of tea i guess. I wouldn't put on my metallica or nirvana ears for luna sea songs. There is a good reason why fans are still listening to these in 2024 , the test of time is the best proof that they had done something right.
It's the repetition and the vocals that keep me from really liking it. The skill is there, undoubtedly. Had it been part of my childhood, I'm sure I would appreciate it more.
傾聴すべきところが無いんだよね?バンドメイドを聴いていれば当然です。
Most disrespectful reaction ever 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
At least I was honest
😴
