I find that the car display showing if the doors are open is not necessary. The idea of a hud is that the most critical information is shown while driving. The door open information should only be seen on the main screen as it takes up unnecessary space on the small hud. Can you turn this off and replace it with something more useful?
That is a great point. They told me they can hide anything on the screen with a software patch, so that wouldn't be difficult to hide based on personal preference. Thank you.

Ordered the Display for 79$ and 10% code still working, thanks for that. But having problems with installation. Especially with putting back the dashboard in place . I tryed to route , btw the really thick and clumsy cables, in different ways but in the middel of the dash i can´t put it down, still have approx 10mm gap and it doesn´t feel like it would move somewhere. I assume it is blocked by the airvent channeling . There are a lot of channelling with foam sealing etc. I don´t know how to route the cables. Would be nice to provide a special video which is showing detailed routing. I having 2022 MY, maybe this is different to yours ?

Almost perfect. I guess it's safe to say it won't give an alert to hold the wheel, which is a shame. Maybe with software update, they can make the autopilot icon flash to alert you. That or for V2 they can add a bezel with Blue and Red LEDs. With the amount of data it is taking from Tesla, there are smarter ways to utilize it. Great review! 9/10 for perfecting the minimalist look.

It depends on what you are looking for. I am about to review a slightly larger circular display that show a lot more information compared to this. This one is for folks who do not want extra information but just want to see the basic stuff without any airflow blockage. I would recommend waiting a few more weeks and I will review at least 5 new instrument clusters that you can chose from :) Thanks.
Thanks the price is a bit high and I'm a bit put-off with the over-complicated install you mentioned but other than that this little device looks like a very natural screen to have. Too bad you can't turn off DTE. This is the first instrument cluster I seriously considered getting.

Try contacting Jetson. They might sell you a replacement throttle. Otherwise, something like this would work just need to test the wiring for power, ground and signal. amzn.to/40oZ6zp

Any issues with polarized sunglasses? I just installed the mini 4.6 inch display but will be returning it as it is unreadable through polarized sunglasses.
I literally just went outside to test this for you. I went on a quick ride with what they sold me as polarized glasses (amber tint outside) and I had no issues seeing the cluster. So, perhaps this one works better than the 4.6. Thanks.
It seems the latest software is not working. My display shows incorrect % and DTE. Though everything else seems correct. This is still the case, after downloading the latest update on the TMA product page.
@@ShivaSapkota holding the scroll button for 10 seconds did not work, but I saw a reference somewhere that mentioned the microSD card had to be 16gb or less. So I got a 16gb micro SD card, erased everything, formatted to FAT32, then loaded the update from the TMA product page. Put it in the mini display and pushed the reset button, and everything worked! If anyone else is having a problem, make sure you use a 16gb or smaller micro SD card.
It is a switch for automatic door open and close (like the ones in Model X). I can press than button and it fully opens and closes my driver side door :) Thanks.
I have had a few inquiries about this very same topic. I am working with the vendor to find out where we can get the power if that plug is not present. UPDATE: TMA told me you should reach out to them with order number. They will send you a different harness that has alternate location for that plug. Thanks

Personally, the interface would be more cleaner to hide the car icon (door indicator) once all the doors are closed. It is no used during drive.

Because of the FSD/Autopilot information like activated and cruise control set speed on the display.

It’s not a HUD. A HUD projects the information on the windscreen so it appears to be displayed at the front of the Bonnet (Hood for USA)
100% agree but people looking for a proper M3/MY HUD would probably be interested in this. Makes sense from an SEO perspective

How much airflow does it actually block if you set the air to blow directly at your face? Love your videos!
Thank you!! At a low flow, you can probably tell the difference but if you are in level 5 or above, it is insignificant blockage.

The connectors are actually located on the right side A-pillar. So in Australia, that will be the driver side A pillar
