This crossing was visited during the morning peak (rush hour) so there was many train movements. As a result, the level crossing was frequently raised and lowered in quick succession. The crossing alarms were really quiet and one of the alarms was faulty (only producing one tone instead of the usual two tones), although it could barely be heard.

The good old class 321. Happy memories of travelling on those to and from London for 20 years.
Beautiful crossing! The signal box the white picket fence its on a little hill its just gorgeous. The church in the background is lovely too. One of the nicest crossing ive seen. Fab catches. ❤😊👍

Thank you :)
Excellent video as always 👍
Thanks.
Very good video.
Strange that happened. Should've stayed down for a Double Stay tbh.
Thanks. I'm assuming it was done to let that pedestrian cross, otherwise it probably wouldn't have been raised.
Nice video jamie
Thank you :)
You know a crossing is mad busy when a double-pass is followed by the crossing raising and lowering in such quick sucession. Fab catches! I wonder how long it took that freight to get a path...
Thanks. I think it was there for a little while as I don't remember catching it here or at nearby Church Lane.
That's rather unusual.
It's quite a common occurrence at this crossing as it's a busy mainline for trains.
This must be an old video as the 321s are no longer used
Yes, this was filmed in 2019.
