Rehearsal in Buenos Aires

On a rainy day in Buenos Aires in January 1989, since it was "stair rods" outside, we decided to have a rehearsal.
As luck would have it... that day... Martin [bass] plonked his Ghetto Blaster in front of us... and pressed "Record"
I think I've mentioned before that I used to work as a guitarist/vocalist on cruise ships... usually involved reading charts, and playing backing for cabaret singers, comedians, magic acts, dancers, folkloric musicians, etc. etc.
Also when on Greek ships, playing fantastic Greek folkloric music sometimes in really odd time signatures.
Then after the show was finished, usually 10pm, we would play dancing music..Pops, Jazz standards, Latin etc.
This was a full on job!
But what a great way to see the world!
One of the bands I was involved in was the "Tradewinds Band"
We were just a simple 4 piece, hard working band playing all these different types of music.
I truly enjoyed my time with them.
3 lovely guys, and superb musicians.

Nice mix. Video and audio! Didn't these old cruise ships look so much nicer and boatier than the floating apartments they use nowadays!?
