    Derrelle is a remorseless little sociopath who will be even more dangerous as he ages.
    The girl he is shot is lucky to be alive.
    All of his victims will be fearful for their safety for the rest of their lives.
    His sister saying,,”They still got their lives,” is ludicrous.
    My heart goes out to these victims.

      @@BrendaTurner-ts1bkit’s hilarious that you’re calling a black judge a woman pandering to her white friends, when this boy has a long record all ready. He had done more than 13 car jackings & been on ankle bracelets that he cut off. To claim that he’s not been given a second chance is completely obtuse of you. Always the race card when you don’t want to see someone held accountable is also shallow of you. He shot someone twice, after he was on a deferred charge & out on house arrest, again, another 2nd chance. So how many 2nd chances should a black female judge give a black boy for his 10th 2nd chance??? The moment he picked up that gun, already a felon at 14 years old, prior to these car jackings & shooting, so how many more 2nd chances did you want him to get?? Asking since the Judge has to give him the fire arm charges of the 3 years minimum, she can’t cut that, she can’t run it concurrent, period. So, it doesn’t matter what color his skin is, the gun itself, then the shooting of a woman 2x, is what got him the sentence he more than received. I do find it odd how you’re speaking of this black judge, whom did listen to both of the kids, & she even said she didn’t want to do this, & gave him concurrent so he would not be in prison for the rest of his life, which he was actually looking at more than 75 years.

    • @dudemorris7769
      @dudemorris7769 7 місяців тому

      @@kwakenaabsolutely not. She would be standing at the microphone with the rest of the black race card pullers wanting to sue for money. Not justice, but monetary gain, as we see over and over. If they truly cared about the kids, they would want Justice for them, however, they just want money and to live in a victimhood of blaming everyone except the criminal who’s responsible. They think affirmative action should also apply to giving free pass after free pass on the violent crimes they are committing. Instead of helping the youth & the parents raise their children & look after the neighborhood kids, like other cultures do, and hold them accountable, it shouldn’t happen in the black culture cause they have been held down in their minds only by the Democratic Party fooling them for decades.

    • @laine_s
      @laine_s Рік тому +14

      @@Leroy-wm4ibYet he chose adult crimes to commit. He wasn’t shoplifting, he wasn’t stealing someone’s bike, he wasn’t breaking a window (although those would be unacceptable, too.) He was wielding a loaded weapon, and it wasn’t as though we could say he wouldn’t have used it - he DID use it. It was only because of God /luck / fate/ whatever someone would choose to attribute to that the victim who was shot didn’t die. The bullet isn’t any less deadly coming from the gun held in the hand of a 14 year old than that held by an adult. Furthermore, the firearm wasn’t fired by mistake, nor was it fired as a means to scare someone. It was fired purposely so that he could continue his criminal action without being detained and facing the consequences of his crimes, regardless of who was hurt in the process. It wasn’t even used as self-defense; that victim didn’t have a gun, or a knife, or pose a risk of snatching the gun from him.
      To those who still try to defend the convicted young man because of his age, in spite of the arguments already put forth, I’d like to know what magical effect you think comes over a person between the last day a person is 17 years of age and the first day of being 18 years of age. Yes, that is a stupid question, but I submit that determining a person’s culpability SOLELY on age is illogical as well. It’s been said by many that the brain doesn’t fully mature until a person is 26 years old. Should criminals aged 25 years old be given a break? Who is to determine how mature a person is, and what test should be used to help do so? Looking at a person’s actions and attitude is how maturity is usually judged. That’s what happened in this case.

      He was 12 when he got his first charges. Where was the mother and sister than. The mother knew the judge would tear into her horrible parenting skills and why she didn’t speak. Sending a child instead to speak & make the sentence worth showing no remorse for the families, only her brother & him being so young, so give him more and more chances, so next time he can kill someone. When I was 14 years old, I didn't have a gun. I didn't shoot a 23 year old women twice in the stomach. I wasn't carjacking people .
    She went on to say he committed the crimes because he was tired of not having things .

We didn’t have everything we wanted but we had everything we NEEDED & that’s all that mattered , having eachother was the most important thing. Those situations I guess can make or break you. But it all starts with the parenting.. my mom taught me to work for what you want and you will get it. NOBODY will hand things to you , don’t expect from people.. and don’t ever take something that’s not yours !!!! Now I have 3 kids thankfully I have my significant other , but I am here to pass down the morals and respect my mother taught me ! 🤍

I could go on but I'll spare you. They didn't hurt other people (but they could have) in the long run but they hurt themselves with drugs and fast cars. The second lady lied about the amount of money she spent "$25.000." I wonder why the Lady that got shot, went back to were he was sitting in the car before he drove off. Some kids are being used by adults to commit these, and other types of crimes. It was wrong what he did, but none of them said, that he need help, or even they would pray that he will change his life because he's still a kid. The Prison system do not rehabilitate young black men!!! It's drugs, murder, and all kinds of violent crimes in the prison system. I pray that Darrell Travis will seek, the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. And that God's grace, and mercy cover him. I want to thank our Creator God that no one was murdered, and that these people who were victims of these crimes will give their life to Jesus Christ.I'm planing on writing Travis to tell him about Jesus Christ, death, burial and resurrection. ... Also about the Holy Spirit fire, and supernatural indwelling full of joy, and energizing power experience. The Book of John 3:1-8; 16:7; Luke 11:9-13; Acts 1:8; 2:4,38; chapter 10; 19:1-8. ( King James Version): is a continuation, same experiences for us human beings today. Pray for Darrell Travis. ❤

The kids are out of control as a result to agencies like this so it's not always on the parents. Kids go to school in the city of dysfunctional Cleveland and learn shyt from other people's kids. Kids now are being exposed to adults matters and that is the problem. Dcfs is ruining households but the people they need to investigate goes overlooked. So it's not always where's the parents because u don't know what his parents went through. Maybe they tried but was threatened. Kids are not the same as the kids back in the day. They are more advanced and dangerous.

    I appreciate the victims showing up to talk about the physical, mental and financial impact. This young man cutting his monitoring and running continues to show his disregard for his crimes and his lack of remorse. The defense was unable to do a strong job in providing context or mitigation, but I guess she was able to get the prosecution to agree to a term of confinement. It is interesting that he was on the video letting people take some of their possessions out of the car and followed one to ask how to start the car. Just 14-years-old. The sister who spontaneously spoke should have been better prepared because her statements were callous. When you are a angry, poor and tired of your circumstances, you need better options. You need an outlet. You need an education, a trade. He now has to grow up in prison. Maybe he will get an education there. The idea that he even bought the laser on his gun with a victim's money and was talking about his crime on Instagram...just sad.

      The reason he had nothing was due to his parents and him not working. There are legal ways to earn money, not as much but you won’t end in prison. He will suffer in prison it will either make him or break him. His sister is pitiful. These parents should have only had as many kids they could nurture and manage.

    What's appropriate is 30 plus years. And I'm pretty sure that he is not remorseful at all. 21 years is nowhere near enough, and I don't care if he was 4 years old when he committed his crimes, he deserved a longer sentence. And to the sister "Girl bye!!" And take that criminal brother of your's with you, preferably for life. And he can keep that fake, weak, empty, apology to himself The saying "The mind is a terrible thing to waste" ain't never been more true in this case of these two siblings.
