Anthony, besides the head unit and the touchscreen faceplate what other mods need to be done for this conversion? I know you had to do some changes to the wiring in the video? Thanks!

That is correct...you will loose the lock button. You can still lock manually or with key fob, you can also unlock by simply pulling the door inside door handle.
We are considering making a kit to retain the locks

how do you lock/unlock the doors?
I have a two questions. first. will the 2014 mylink with SMS text option work on a 2010? second, if my car doesn't have a back up camera, do you sell the back up camera equipment with the mylink? thanks in advance. I am very interested.

Honestly...we've sold over 300 of these upgrades and the door locks are hardly ever a hang up. There is a kit on the market that does require some new parts for the door panels...which we can likely help with if that's what's hanging you up. You would need to TEXT us to discuss things as its not something we offer on a regular basis.919-995-9523
Door lock button will be lost. You can still just pull on the inside handle to raise the lock. We are looking at a way to retain a lock switch...but that will be down the road a little

There is a kit that can move the locks to the door panels. Most don't worry about the switch to be perfectly honest, however, if you want to spend the money on the relocation kit and go through the work...we can help. Its all a matter of budget.Just need to TEXT us for more info 919-995-9523
i did with my camaro, LOCKED displaying on screen :( only camera is working.

What happens when the Bluetooth music streaming isn't included? like on the ls Camaros?
If you upgrade you will be able to stream music through Bluetooth. This is a full blown upgrade. It will be like you purchased a MyLink navigation in a 2013-2014. Please contact the number at the end of the video if you have any other questions or concerns.

We did not. We likely won't, now that GM has stopped supporting Map Updates for that system.
???? Where do u put your CD's in that thing????
U still use cd's
+Romel Taylor NO CD...Its gone. Stream audio from your phone.....I personally have over 300 songs on my phone. CD's are being phased out...kinda like cassette tapes were 15 years ago
