Hi everyone! Do you have any heavy chewer approved toys?! Rocket and Bindi have been loving chewing lately, and we need more suggestions! Let me know down below :)
My boy Obi will be 6 months also in 2 days. Antlers/yak chews are the best combo of healthy/affordable and he loves them. He's chewing an antler next to me right now haha
this isnt chew toy, but do you use the puzzle toys? they are used when its feeding time. Its so good for stimulate their mind in which also uses energy. But the only chew toy my pup loves is my feet. lol oh and the Bully sticks/bones.
^^Heelers are seriously the best. So smart, and the personalities are amazing! I love that you can just talk to them and it's like they understand every sentence your saying! lol
@@GrowingUpBlue If she's carrying on barking and going crazy I just say "fine, do you want me to put you outside?" She immediately freezes and starts being innocent lol. So much like a child. They definitely understand!
My heeler puppy has no interest in the "fake" bones like nylabone, but loves the real ones! I give her a frozen raw bone about once a week and she can spend the entire day trying to get the marrow out. She also likes dried fish skin chews.
Ooh! We had tried dried fish skin chews when Rocket was a puppy and he went CRAZY over them! We haven't tried any with Bindi yet, so we'll have to do it again! :)
@@blazindragon296 I have seen small bags of them at most pet stores, and even some grocery/hardware stores. I have one called "Totally Raw - Atlantic Fish Skinnies".
Paul and I have a 3/4 blue healer 1/2 border collie mix Now we are going to get a baby blue healer sister this fall. For our Sadie to have a friend. To play with
Warning: sexist comment. I personally prefer my female cattle dog over the males I've encountered. A little less aloof, a little smaller, and honestly I think a bit smarter than the males. Just my opinion!
My red is about 5 months. She changes from day to day physically. She is being trained/socialized/exercised by my 6 yo rescue terrier that is absurdly smart and a well trained yard dog. My puppy expects to be feed at first light but I toss her out when she gets active before I want to get out of bed.
I rescued a red heeler "Chet". He is 7 to 8 months old. I managed to get him house broken but now he has taken up on himself to paper train himself without my help. He would run and play 2 to 3 hours in the back with 3 other dogs and when tired he lays in a pile of leaves then when I call him in he goes poop and pee on a plastic I put down always in the same spot. In the middle of the night and mornings he sneaks downstairs and does his business on the plastic then comes back to bed. I've had heelers before and I NEVER heard or seen anything like this. I can't get mad at him or correct him cause he's doing me a favor. I'm disabled and no leg so if in an emergency I would not have to find someone to let him out to pee during the day. Stubborn as they are, he is not going to use the bathroom outside. What now? Where did I go wrong? Now my 1 1/2 year old wire hound is using the plastic as well!
One of my red healers is picky too but he will eat if i add fruits that he likes with his food and sometimes i like to mix wet food with dry food for him and he loves it and they are barely going to be 3 months old
Hello I have a Red Heeler she is 8 months old. I can tell you its completely normal as far as the concern about eating habits. Its not that she's a picky eater, i think that scheduling food times are out the window lol. They eat when there hungry pretty much, like you said she's extremely healthy at this video you said 38 lbs wow how healthy is that. My Daisy eats when she hungry ,she will nudge the food container and vacuum up her serving. She an only puppy so i dont think having Rocket around is a contributing factor. Thanx for sharing i hope you get to read this, and comfort you a little you have beautiful heelers. And im a subscriber now have a good morning \afternoon\evening lol im in South Texas dont know what time zone your in anyhow, thank you teaching me some stuff also take care.
Every heeler is different! :) Some are smaller than others, Bindi is definitely a lot smaller than Rocket is. If you're concerned, ask your vet, but I know heelers can range anywhere from about 30 - 60 or so pounds!
Rocket and Bindi honestly never nipped too much, but when they did we used constant, firm NOs and always redirected their mouths to a toy instead of us. We trained from the thought that they need to find another way to communicate than using their mouths.
My girl just turned 8 months old where does the time go lol My girl doesn't eat much in the morning either she likes to wait until we get back from a walk then she gets some chicken necks
Hi , I just came across your videos ! We currently have a 2 year old male blue heeler and we are about to get another heeler puppy . What would you say are differences between your male and now having a female ? I’m so curious about their temperament…. like which one is more lovable etc . ( of course I know you love them both the same ❤️) I’m having a hard time making my mind up 🤷♀️ Heelers have definitely captured my heart .
I enjoy the videos a great deal, but I think I'd enjoy them even more if you did not add music. I think the natural sounds of the outdoors are more interesting and realistic. Thank you for your videos.

@@TinaMay-rr6xi That's a good point about the raw meat! We haven't tried it yet, but Rocket and Bindi are drooling over here! lol

Heeler Fav chew toy , 900lb Bull 😎👍🇦🇺🦘
Cute and entertaining! Love their relationship with each other!
My 9 month old red-heeler is the coolest dog ever. She's so sweet, has a great temperament, and has a hilarious personality. Best dog.

My Xena is growing up so fast. My red healer
Just got a 10 week old Female. She's smart and smiles.
Great vid I can’t believe that bindi is 6 months either I can’t wait to get my healer

My Heeler loves beef or Buffalo tracheas. Keep him busy for a very long time.
Great suggestion, thank you!!
We have two siblings, a red male and a blue female. The little girl absolutely loves doing a surprise flying tackle on her much larger brother.
Have my Red Heeler for one week now and he is perfect.
I’m a new subscriber as you do a great job on this breed. Thank you !
BINGO :D
IMMA HEADPET THAT RED HEELER IN REAL LIFE THO ;)
We did antlers but had to switch to Nylabones and they were a huge hit and have different flavors.
We're loving the benebones, but have yet to find a nylabone they won't destroy! lol
Wow my 10-month-old male heeler puppy is only 33 pounds!
My first gyp never got over 35lbs.

10:10 Awww🤗😍😍😭
Feed raw. She’s scarf it down. Do lots of research first. Been feeding my dogs raw for 8yrs and the health benefits are outstanding
Our heeler is a picky eater we have to play eating games with him, we think it’s because of our other dog

My heeler would save her day tine food for midnight. I blame the dingo in her. Saving food for later

omg I wish I could afford to have a friend red heeler for my Arlo..
My red heeler is 10 months old but is the size of a 6 month old, is that normal?

Lucky you! Rarely have I seen a dog too small for the job but I have seen many that were too big.
@@dbmail545 Really? What do you mean by that?
My healer loves the same bone. My older dog can get annoyed at times when the healer plays too much, ha. Question, how did you get past the nipping?
Rocket and Bindi honestly never nipped too much, but when they did we used constant, firm NOs and always redirected their mouths to a toy instead of us. We trained from the thought that they need to find another way to communicate than using their mouths.
Swear at her to stop it. Grab her mouth and say NO! She will stop eventually. They are not dumb and they wish to please you.

My red is almost suspicious about his food, circles it for a while before eating and sometimes doesn't eat at all
I have a blue heeler/pitbull
Susan is a vacuum cleaner
She eats everything
She'll be 2 months on June 13
My pup is a red heeler/boxer that is pretty much the same age as Bindi, does she still do the jump on Rocket and riding on him, my Rose still does
I enjoy the videos a great deal, but I think I'd enjoy them even more if you did not add music. I think the natural sounds of the outdoors are more interesting and realistic. Thank you for your videos.
is she still growing?
We want to see Rocky Bindi sleeping video please
That would be so cute!! They never hold still longer than 10 seconds, but hopefully one day we could make a whole video of them sleeping together! lol
I was a dog food delivery person she doesn't like the junk food you are feeding. Iam s dogfood
I’m sorry but you talk too much without vision of your dogs
