Miss our old blue heeler rescue so much .💙 Blue-Blue was dumped at our church at 1 year old. He had come over when our fawn Doberman was in season. When we found the owner, his father came to get his son 's dog. The son taught Blue a lesson. He tied him up on the ranch across the road for 4 days in 106○F heat without food or water. The dog cried, barked and howled 3 days each day getting weaker. On the 4th day I climbed the ranch fence with a gallon of water 💧. I searched that 100 acre ranch and couldn't find him. A couple months later the young man threw the dog out of his truck in a thunderstorm . Seeing me on my porch, he loaded the dog back up and dumped him in a Barrio a mile away. The dog would come after that at night and cry and bark 100 feet from our house. He had lost all trust in humans. Finally our employees caught him and brought him to us, a bag of skin and bones. We fed him up and let him sleep by our bed. He grew to 65 lb. He was a champion bloodline registered dog. He lived 14 more years unwilling to leave our sides. On his 3rd walk of the day he went to his wading pool to drink water and collapsed on the ground. He was dead before he hit the ground. With us, he was never beaten, starved or without water again. It took a while for him to trust anyone again, even us. These were wealthy people. He had a registered name but we called him Blue-Blue. We have not been able to find one like him in 5 years. He guarded chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, kitties and horses- and us. Guess he's waiting for us in heaven. 🐕 ❤ 🤍 💙 Katherine Paul's wife in Texas USA 🇺🇸 ♥.
What a story! I do not understand how people can be so mean to these good dogs... why have a dog then in the first place? So glad your Blue-Blue had a good life with you. We love our dogs.
@@LittleFrenchyinBigTexas ❤ 🤍 💙 I don't usually pour my heart out like that, but he was our first blue heeler (in love with Stormy our fawn Doberman girl) I am 73 and we have tried for 5 years to find another Blue-Blue 💙. I hope to find another boy to do fence patrol with me and sleep next to our bed. Do you have any plans to place any of your boy puppies? We live on a ranch in Central Texas hill country near Killeen. We have chickens, duck, dairy goats and sheep, LGDs who usually stay outside guarding critters. Also 2 horses. Have a blessed day. Katy Paul's wife ♥.
I wish you were closer as well. It would be so much fun to see you! We finally decided which one we will keep here. And giving good homes to the others.
I wish they would stay puppies forever too. But... after a few nights with not much sleep, you change your mind quickly. They are like babies. Need your attention non stop ;-)
Nunca había vistos esta especie con piecitos rojos. Gracias, por enseñarnos cosas que jamás pensamos existiriía. Un abrazo amiga y feliz entrada de año 2022
Se llaman "Australian cattle dog" or "heeler". Los mas comunes son azules (como el que he guardado) y algunas están rojos (como la mama). Son muy buenos perros. Feliz entrada en el 2022!
I know this is old, but we have a 5 week old pup who came out white with red eye patches but is still showing mostly white with some red speckles but very few. Will it get its red in more or be an oddball? Have you experienced this before?
It is hard on the first days. They were all so white. We ended up with 2 blue and 5 red healers. The blue had darker black spots from birth while the others were brownish.
Howdy! hey check this BLUEY out 👍 seriously! If you get satellite map of Australia on your cellphone or computer screen and then turn satellite map of Australia sideways having western Australia being at top of screen and then look closely with your eyes and focus clearly and concisely and zoom in up and down just above township of Warwick Queensland and you'll see a giant cattle dogs face in the landscape 👍 seriously give it a crack and be totally amazed! holy Holy HOLY is the LORD of HOSTS 👍🇦🇺🤠🌿🐨🌳
Those are just too darn cute!!! Cuteness overload. - Rick
Thanks Rick!

I would give it another few weeks and see…
Do you feed them raw 🤔 #barf #pottengerscats
When they have a ring tail are they born with it ?
I would say no, but really not sure here. Ours changed color a lot when growing.
Is possible to know the color (red or blue) since the first day of life?
