And a million dollars later, he will give it away if you buy a t-shirt... LOL!!
You need to put the tall divider wall back up instead of the short wall on the end of the bed that faces the front of the bus. It will act as a barrier, helping to keep someone from being thrown over into the stairwell in the event of a sudden stop. Consider a cargo net across the opening of the rear bunks as well to keep from tossing someone out of those bunks.

check seatbelt regulations before you go on that trip because you could be in deep trouble if you are not in compliance. Additionally as an employer, please consider the safety of your employees on this trip. It would be a sad day if something goes wrong along the way, no matter which driver is at fault, and you end up with serious injuries among any of the passengers. RV or Bus seats are easy to come by and come equipped with seatbelts that meet regulations.
@@Christopher_R ... many states have seat belt requirements for RV's. But aside from that, safety should be a common sense thing, not just because the law requires it.
Mat, most states require there to be seat belts for everyone on that bus. I know Texas requires every passenger to have a seatbelt. Also if someone is in the upper bunk and the driver slams on the brakes then they could break their neck when they fall off the bunk and hit the floor.
hahaha. You think Mat is the kind of person who care at all about such things. He's a big UA-camr. Big UA-camrs just do things without any regard to the law. Not only that he's a Texas boy which compounds that DGAF.

Matt! Old school submarines and battleships could fit 4 bunks top to bottom in this spots. Put 2 on the floor on mattresses and then put bunks at window level. 4 beds no problem. Also there’s a way to make them fold up when you’re not using them to make more room for extra curricular activities!
Take your title to the bus with you, in case it breaks down, and you need to leave it behind, you can sign it over to whomever you need to. Can’t wait to see the rest of the bus completed. GOD Bless. 🙏💖🙏
I am sorry that this purchase didn't work out, although, this was not your smartest purchase. Any more time spent on this is a waste. You have the wisest Dad from whom you can seek advice. Use that resource.
Yeah, no point ripping all this stuff out and half-assing a remodel just to use it a couple times. I'd sell it cheap to someone or a couple that wants something like this, or do the giveaway thing. He needs a toterhome like Cleetus has or can customize a full size bus (not a school bus) that would easily seat 7, still have a fridge and shower, and he'd be able to stand straight up in.
That deck/trailer hitch had me almost screaming. The deck and hitch on their own are well made, but if you are expecting a serious load why is it not FULLY welled to the FRAME!
Maybe just put in a board over the floor in the shower that kind of matches the flooring so that you can still keep the shower option and put the beds on hinges so you can fold them up out of the way even
Man if you make this thing going for seven guys without anybody getting mentally or physically destroyed - kudos to you. Stay positive 😂. You're gonna do it, I know.

That thing is a death trap for your passengers if you get into any sort of accident. Heck even heavy braking could cause some injury to the people in the back.
14:09 no, shift the bed back so the seats are in the front and the sleeping people are farther away from the noisy engine in the front, have all the sitting people up front and sleepers in the back.
Instead of a loveseat/couch behind the drivers seat you could use a bench seat from a car and it would have proper brackets for mounting to the bus and probably have hardware for adding seat belts if you wanted.

Do the upper bunk Navy style. Hinge on the wall. Chain hooks from top to hold the top bunks level for sleeping and pivot up and rehook in up position to allow seating on lower buncks.
The people sleeping at the back of the bus better be heavy sleepers, the ride gets worse the further behind the rear wheels you go. As a kid laying in a seat, legs across the aisle feet on other seat i was literally thrown out of seat when the bus hit a bump.
Man Matt that is my Absolute dream bus! I’ve wanted a bus like that for years. All I dream of every day is traveling with my dog and living a simpler life
There's a reason why Cleetus bought a RV and then the toterhome when they started traveling a lot. Write it off as a business vehicle since you're pulling a merch trailer and putting it on UA-cam.
You just gave me my next 5-year plan. We like to tow a small camper around once a year for a long trip, but tow rigs with laydown sleepy spots and room for cats and dogs and kids and spouse are hard to come by. That engine would def do it! And that's a clean conversion. The outside bumper thing... OMG, nope. Good welding though (maybe), but engineering fail.
You also need a mesh net made from seatbelt material that can be latched in place for sleeping for at least the two bunks at the back. You can probably find them at a big rig shop or online supply as all semi tractors come so equipped. In the event of a hard braking situation anyone lying in the rear bunks will fly out and be injured or killed if such is not in place.
You still have a Lotta room by the sink area why not put in a smaller refrigerator to keep drinks cool while you travel. The new bunkbeds are a great idea. You might wanna put curtains on them so they have some privacy while trying to sleep you could also create seating, facing the front and rows and see more people just some ideas to ponder.

If you were to keep it as a toy hauler, you'd be better off pulling out everything in the back and replacing it with reclinable chairs that are securely mounted and have seat belts. That thing's rigged to be a camper for two.
@Offtheranch you need to make the top bunk have the ability to fold down as a back rest to create another spot to sit. One of the military trucks I work on has the same design. It's basically just a bench seat bunk bed

This is a schoolie set up for two people. That platform on the back is to big. If you go through to deep a low spot it will drag on the ground. Your trailer if loaded will just make it worse. If you want a schoolie then you should get one built on a longer frame. This will give you more room for seating. And still have room for sleeping. Adding a good hitch under a stock bumper will work better than having it on a platform.
The extra room is necessary I definitely get that, but I feel like having a fridge/freezer and the toilet/shower on board was so much more handy than you realize. Just because you haven't really gotten to use it yet, it doesn't seem as important an helpful as it really is.

The extra room is necessary I definitely get that, but I feel like having a fridge/freezer and the toilet/shower on board was so much more handy than you realize. Just because you haven't really gotten to use it yet, it doesn't seem as important an helpful as it really is.
12volt cooler fridge on the back cargo area or just a huge ice chest would work for weekend trips but I am with you on the fridge freezer
I liked it as it was yeah it needed some to but it was nice for what it was.
Nah, if it was a long term use maybe. but for a 1 way trip to Indy nope. Reality he should have just picked something better than this but we all know how Matt is,lol.
Really enjoying the bus stuff videos. I’ve always wanted to do bus stuff, but my wife doesn’t let me.
Same brother! 😂😂
Buy something then possibly win it to finish his bus stuff😂!
@@kylie4541 tru, maybe my wife would be more accepting of bus stuff. If I’m just finishing up after someone else already started…
You made that guys decade by buying his passion project. 😂
You’re a good dude Matt
Dude is probably regretting that he sold it to Matt now that he sees how Matt has deconstructed it!
@@LauraSavedByGrace probably would have been cheaper and better off just buying any old bus and throwing in beds/chairs, instead of buying that guy's passion project and removing half the passion..
what you could do is buy a full size schoolie (or any normal size rv, it'd just have a little extra unused space)
then you'd have the extra legroom you need, all that should need to be added is a tow hitch and a lot more horsepower.
I’m going to try to win the bus just to bring it back to Tulsa 😂😂
So does it have to be a demo ranch short or bunker branding as a whole? I kinda like Scott’s awesome new shirt 🤔
I bought one as soon as he posted!
The Beds should be towards the back. Always a good idea to have extra eyes up front to help keep the driver awake and alert.
Hey Matt!! Just buy an RV already!!! You can use it for all the Cletus and Cars, plus use it for family vacations like going to Yosemite, The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, etc!!
GIVE US THE NEWS!!
He already explained he can't until its signed and sealed. He said the deal keeps getting put back.
Cant wait for more bus stuff😂
Am I the only one to think the big reveal is an abandoned ghost town...🤔
That’s the vibes i got from early secret videos
@@Pikawarps same
Have same bus, some have a locked out extra gear in tran, you can bump up the HP on the 3126 too, heuy system needs upgrade parts are a your caterpillar dealer a must do..
A 1986 ish Chevy g20 rear bench seats might work great!
I'm weak when he got to the back of the bus talking about the bunk beds not only was I dying from him cooking the whole previous owners choices but I realized this mf really thought this out haha BusStuff I like the vision
I'm so opportuned irrespective of the economic crisis and financial conditions I am still able to earn $33,500 returns from my initial $6,500 every 10days
After I came across bitcoin trading platform of Mrs Liza Georgia my financial life has totally changed.
I’m astonished, I think am the only one familiar with Mrs Liza Georgia, she handles my account too.
How can I reach out to Mrs Liza? I urgently need her management on my INVESTMENTS !
It has been awesome, really crypto is very frustrating.. I was astonishing how I made $71,380 with $14k as a Novice. I got to put in some $$$ in it tho .
Amazing I also started trading with her recently. $180,000 profits in just 2 months and still counting, Mrs Liza is the crypto trade queen as far am concerned.
Matt just buy an old like MCI bus and put bunks in the back, that’s what we use for everything and it’s perfect!
Remove shelf on back .Fixed bed on top. Bottom bed foldable. So it could be comfortable seating. That could be another option.
