I accidently put my brand new Samsung A14 in a 40 degree wash for an hour, and then put it through two rinse spins with no water... it ws still on when I discovered it amongst my sheets! Immediately turned it off, put it in rice, and left it near a radiator for a week. It had water damage, behind 3/4 of the screen, and initially didn't acknowledge facial recognition... I have had it turned on constantly for about 2 weeks since then - the water has dried behind the screen entirely, and it works perfectly!
May I please ask if the damaged part of the screen went back to normal?? Cuz I accidentally just dropped mine in water and the screen is turning dark n m actually freaking out cuz it's still new
