I always loved hearing artists talk about their process, and the fact that you share little bits of your life too makes it extra special. I also find your voice very soothing and I absolutely love your accent! I'm French-Canadian but have some roots in the UK since my birth father was British. And although I never got to know him, I've always felt some connection to the UK, or maybe a longing for that side of me that I never got to explore. I really relate to 'shining your light' I made a decision last year that times being what they are I would be a light. I had my first solo exhibition last December and I got some lovely feedback about my tree women and female faces that I decided to make them into felt sculptures (sculpture is what I studied at uni) Your channel is such an inspiration that I might start taking my channel more seriously instead of a place to store video footage 🙄😁 thank you 💐

I agree that the best thing about being a UA-camr is the community... even though my own channel isn't growing very quickly, I have a really lovely group of viewers who regularly make lovely comments (and I didn't start a channel with the aim of making money anyway!). The surprising benefit of having a UA-cam channel is the amount of creativity that goes into each video, and I love this aspect. Like you, each of my videos takes me around 8 hours to edit! Good morning..I’m writing from Winnipeg, Canada. I am a retired elementary teacher and am thinking of starting a UA-cam channel but am a little timid about starting. I just need to do something because I miss the contact of other people ,. I can’t go out very much because I am currently waiting for a knee replacement so I do watch a lot of UA-cam. I dont think it matters what other people do on UA-cam or how popular they are, we follow YOU because of the beautiful person you are, plus you are you, its the Wendy waffle and beautiful smile which I tune in for as well as your art of course. So calming, and peaceful. I will often play your videos while I do my own art then keep replaying if I miss a bit. You are always thinking of others and you do shine your light (I love the Seekers version)...I always say "give someone a smile and you could make their day" afterall being nice costs nothing. Sad about the negative people but if they have nothing better to do maybe you are making their day in a roundabout way...but really they should get a life. If I dont like someones video I just go elsewhere, nobody makes you watch. I dont think anyone really appreciates how much effort or time artists put into each video but I thankyou on behalf of us all.🙏💜 I think everyone needs a James in their life, he's so lovely and helpful to boot!! Ok, so first thing....congrats on making it a year! I think you are super brave for even trying let alone getting through for a year! Secondly, thank you for being positive but also telling things how it is. It was an interesting chat you had about how you come about your ideas and youtube algorythms and such. I love your artwork and love all you do. And James! He does a great job too. You get a million thumbs ups from me if I could. Now that you explained further, my goal is to keep liking and commenting. It is your way about things that makes me calm and happy in my heart. I know I dont have to, but I want to....the second I get extra money...it is going to your shop for art! Good morning..I’m writing from Winnipeg, Canada. I am a retired elementary teacher and am thinking of starting a UA-cam channel but am a little timid about starting. I just need to do something because I miss the contact of other people ,. I can’t go out very much because I am currently waiting for a knee replacement so I do watch a lot of UA-cam. Love your channel….just started watching you.
Thanks Wendy for sharing a bit more of your life. Congratulations on your first year you have acheived greatness. I dont think it matters what other people do on UA-cam or how popular they are, we follow YOU because of the beautiful person you are, plus you are you, its the Wendy waffle and beautiful smile which I tune in for as well as your art of course. So calming, and peaceful. I will often play your videos while I do my own art then keep replaying if I miss a bit. You are always thinking of others and you do shine your light (I love the Seekers version)...I always say "give someone a smile and you could make their day" afterall being nice costs nothing. Sad about the negative people but if they have nothing better to do maybe you are making their day in a roundabout way...but really they should get a life. If I dont like someones video I just go elsewhere, nobody makes you watch. I dont think anyone really appreciates how much effort or time artists put into each video but I thankyou on behalf of us all.🙏💜 I think everyone needs a James in their life, he's so lovely and helpful to boot!! I also think you or anyone else in YT land should be able to take a break, a step back from the world if they need to, without feeling guilty or feeling like they should apologise...
