Such amazing tools, and MOST APPRECIATED is all of the care involved by adding the sharpening and blade maintenance kit. It's no wonder Lee is always sold out!
Thank you kindly Conor, indeed Lee's tools have rightly built a great reputation so do not wait around long when they are available to purchase ~Peace~
Really cool to have a set of handmade tools that are all unique. No one will have a set like it, great craftsmanship and attention to detail amazing work. Thanks for sharing Zed.
My goodness, what a cherished gift, truly a wonderful set. I'm green with envy. I've been looking into the tools needed for carving and have started saving up. Thank you for sharing so many teaching videos with us. Peace to you.
Worth mentioning that although this is a beautiful set of tools, when starting out you honestly don't need this and a cheaper yet practical set will be more then suffice ~Peace~
Beautiful hand made tools are the best. I have several. I learned about the faceted handles from one of your videos on carving axes. I had always made smooth handles before that. Nice video. Thanks 🔪🎸
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. As a long time carver, still amateur, and beginning blade smith I enjoyed the design features of the scorps. Thank you very much
Very nice toolset! The scorp is interesting. What brought me to greenwood working is the need for tools to work a hollow limbed hickory selfbow. I actually made a very similar tool out of an old worn out 1" (25mm roughly) box end wrench. It works phenomenally well, and as he said I don't need to switch tools when working either side of the limb...just change the orientation a little and it will carve the left, center, or right with equal ease. It's really funny how we bladesmiths think so alike in some ways, and so differently in others. I'm very much enjoying your channel friend, thanks for sharing.
BrumCraft All being well i'll be setting up a woodworking area in the my garden in the coming days and also film some of my carving projects too. We need to catch up sometime this week Gaz ~Peace~
That's a great looking tool set. Those round knives are awesome looking .. I love that you can use them in either direction rather than having 2 different ones. Very nice
You're very welcome mate, I'm looking forward to seeing it in use. I've recently started carving and find it such a calming activity. All the best, Josh
I gotta make me a tool roll for leathercrafting tools. I am not quite on to woodworking yet! One day... I will make spoon and bowl. But given my level of skill that day could be several decades away! Ahaahah thanks for sharing Zed!
