Great episode, but something bothered me. Cusco/Cuzco, the city founded by Manco Capac is not in ruins, it is one of the largest cities of Peru and a regional capital. They are obviously mixing it up with Macchu Picchu
Dude your average cosplayer is a better interpretation of Wonder Woman than Frank Miller's.....and I'm not even talking about Wonder Woman cosplayers specifically, I'm pretty sure some dude dressed as Batman would make a better WW than anything Franky could write up at this point.
I actually really liked what I saw of this book. Maybe it's because I'm a Wonder Woman fan to begin with, maybe it's because I just like the aesthetic of ancient Mesoamerica, but I thought the character was cool. Kinda wish Marvel would publish a character like this.
The fact that she touches her bracelet to transform reminds me of a Power Rangers transformation with their morphers. In fact, I'd like to see one panel of Wonder Woman touching her bracelet and shouting, "It's morphing time! Gold and White Wonder Ranger ready!" Epically poses while random explosion goes off behind her.
I actually can't wait for Linkara to do another month of Stan Lee creating the DC Universe. We still need to see Stan's take on Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman. Then his take on how they became the Justtice League.

Well, in most case with DC's superheroes, they evolved the ability to fly through a decade of comic books are more. Remember, originally, Superman COULDN'T fly, instead he could "leap tall buildings in a single bound" and so got around by "super jump" which over time artists simply shown by just making him fly. Wonder Woman was the same, originally she got around by a invisible jet plane that made it look like she was flying( albeit sitting down) until eventually she just really could fly. It kind evolved over time as just "flight" for simplicity.

Honestly, it wouldn't even occur to a polytheist to try and deny anyone else's gods. Why would you? Either they're the same gods as the ones you worship, just using different names (the classical Greeks did this one a lot), or they're just gods you haven't added to the pantheon yet because you haven't met them before. The whole idea of Your Gods Are False is pretty much limited to monotheism and atheism.
While a single word of spanish mixed with English can be seen as stupid, it happens irl a lot. It's easy to forget certain words in English and easier to remember the Spanish version and vis versa. It just happens.

I really find this comic series re-created by Stan Lee to be very interesting, and a pretty damn cool idea. Perhaps there should be more series like this. What I mean, is like a series similar to this like: What if Alan Moore created "insert superhero here", or something like that. I don't really know much about the creators of the various superheroes to be honest, so I probably sound kind of dumb here, but I think the idea Stan Lee had to do this is very creative.

I actually like this story and think it's pretty good. I like the change of mythology for one but wish more could be done with it. Instead of Cuzco maybe it could have been El Dorado instead to make the gold armor make better sense. Maybe have the villain be a defendant of a conquistador wanting the gold and finding the monsters as a by-product. But that's just my personal taste what was made was fine.
Wait, so why did Guitez and Alternate Steve Trevor believe the legends about the ruins in the first place? I guess Steve Trevor is an archeologist so maybe he's encountered magical artifacts before, but why did Guitez believe in magic? Come to think of it I'd love a miniseries giving the Indiana Jones inspired backstory of those two.
I consider this one decent but has room for improvement. Jim Lee has a rare moment of making a good costume like Rogue's X-Men costume in the 90's and this version of Wonder Woman was one of them. As I said before in the Superman review, this is one of those books where a co-writer, and possibly a better artist, would have elevated this book.
I want to agree with the redesign. Most of the costumes just don't have that Wonder that Wonder Woman should have. When you look at her it should be with a response of "Wow!" or something similer, instead of what we normally get now adays which is more of a "Neat" or "That's cool."

Good god, I just realised. This is one of the most iconic names in Marvel reimagining some of the most iconic names of DC, with art reminscent of the iconic days of all the failings of Image. Come on, Jim, I've seen you draw way better stuff than this.
It always surprises me to see jim lee of all people, my personal favorite artist, on this show, but when handed a kinda bland or even bad story there is only so much you can do.

Rewatching these episodes, it seems to me Stan Lee only saw the gimmick and not…you know, the symbols or heroism that each of these characters represented.
