They caught on quickly, and I joined their group, strolling and chatting. After awhile, when the person had disappeared, they escorted me to my car. I will never forget their kindness.
That's why you ask if they're in trouble. If not, they'll realise that they've made a mistake, but no harm has been done. The vast majority of people would much rather be interrupted by mistake than to have not been asked for help if it was necessary.

Back in 1979 or 1980 I had this happen to me. A strange lady walked up to me and did just this. I noticed a guy watching her from a bit of a distance around 50 or 75 yards. It is difficult to really judge at night with few lights. When he didn't leave we drove around randomly for about an hour and I indirectly drove her home in a random route until we were sure he was gone and I helped her file a Police Report on him including tags, I remember they were DC tags. She lived in Arlington VA and worked in DC. She had been dumped by her date I Alexandria VA and didn't have a car and started being followed while waiting for a cab. 100% would do it again

This is true! When a random person you don't know acts overly friendly and comes on strong, it's a serious red flag. This person wants something from you. STAY AWAY!!
This is so dangerous. Never engage the stalker or suspicious person. Once you find someone to be with/someone who can protect you, call someone else you trust who can be with you or you can stay with. AT NO POINT SHOULD YOU BE ALONE, EVEN IF YOU THINK THEY ARENT FOLLOWING YOU ANYMORE. Though the police are historically bad at handling this kind of situation, I’d recommend filing some kind of report or telling them about your experience so that they are aware of what’s going on in your area.
Trust me, bad people will not stop just because someone got in the way the first time. Stalkers are obsessive and not in their right mind so trying to think logically will not work. There is always the chance that this wasn’t their first offense or even first time following you around. They could know where you live, they could be on your social media, they could know where your car is parked ect. I have been training since I was a kid with my dad on self defense and my dad used to be in a gang so he knows how bad people think he knows what kind of things they will do and what to watch out for. Just a tip from experience if you ever see someone or a shadow of someone Infront of your window don’t move. Don’t talk. Don’t yell. And most importantly don’t leave the room. This allows the potential threat to see you are aware of their presence instead get on your phone and text your mom or dad and if your older text the police or one of your friends or your parents to. You never want to go to the window to check if someone’s there because if you can see them they can see you. Most criminals check out the place a couple times before making a move so if the person leaves don’t think your safe. Go stay at a friends house or better yet have someone pick you up. This makes it to where if the criminal leaves you know your in danger call the police and let them know what time the criminal has been showing up around your house or have a family member stay at your house for a while if the person wants something to do with you they are going to get irritated and either leave or act out. You want the person to act out. Let them break into your house. Because then you have the advantage. Go to the farthest room away from the break in. And lock every door you go through. That makes them have to go through more doors. Take this time and call the police. The person will get arrested and you won’t have to deal with them. They all ready know that you are aware of them so there is no use in being quiet. the locked doors will buy you time. You want the police to understand you very clearly. Another thing is always befriend your neighbors they are the ones that will get to you the fastest they will deal with the intruder while the cops are on there way. Comment if this helps anybody!

Back in 1979 or 1980 I had this happen to me. A strange lady walked up to me and did just this. I noticed a guy watching her from a bit of a distance around 50 or 75 yards. It is difficult to really judge at night with few lights. When he didn't leave we drove around randomly for about an hour and I indirectly drove her home in a random route until we were sure he was gone and I helped her file a Police Report on him including tags, I remember they were DC tags. She lived in Arlington VA and worked in DC. She had been dumped by her date I Alexandria VA and didn't have a car and started being followed while waiting for a cab. 100% would do it again

This is so dangerous. Never engage the stalker or suspicious person. Once you find someone to be with/someone who can protect you, call someone else you trust who can be with you or you can stay with. AT NO POINT SHOULD YOU BE ALONE, EVEN IF YOU THINK THEY ARENT FOLLOWING YOU ANYMORE. Though the police are historically bad at handling this kind of situation, I’d recommend filing some kind of report or telling them about your experience so that they are aware of what’s going on in your area.
Trust me, bad people will not stop just because someone got in the way the first time. Stalkers are obsessive and not in their right mind so trying to think logically will not work. There is always the chance that this wasn’t their first offense or even first time following you around. They could know where you live, they could be on your social media, they could know where your car is parked ect. This video was great but I wish they took this video a little further with portraying how dangerous the situation could be.

I have been training since I was a kid with my dad on self defense and my dad used to be in a gang so he knows how bad people think he knows what kind of things they will do and what to watch out for. Just a tip from experience if you ever see someone or a shadow of someone Infront of your window don’t move. Don’t talk. Don’t yell. And most importantly don’t leave the room. This allows the potential threat to see you are aware of their presence instead get on your phone and text your mom or dad and if your older text the police or one of your friends or your parents to. You never want to go to the window to check if someone’s there because if you can see them they can see you. Most criminals check out the place a couple times before making a move so if the person leaves don’t think your safe. Go stay at a friends house or better yet have someone pick you up. This makes it to where if the criminal leaves you know your in danger call the police and let them know what time the criminal has been showing up around your house or have a family member stay at your house for a while if the person wants something to do with you they are going to get irritated and either leave or act out. You want the person to act out. Let them break into your house. Because then you have the advantage. Go to the farthest room away from the break in. And lock every door you go through. That makes them have to go through more doors. Take this time and call the police. The person will get arrested and you won’t have to deal with them. They all ready know that you are aware of them so there is no use in being quiet. the locked doors will buy you time. You want the police to understand you very clearly. Another thing is always befriend your neighbors they are the ones that will get to you the fastest they will deal with the intruder while the cops are on there way. Comment if this helps anybody!
