I usually eat a lot of omlets but if the prices are high or the supply is low, I simply won't eat them. Not certain why other people go so crazy over this.
The last outbreak, large egg producing company made record profits. It's greed.
Still they only can get away when supply is low ans demand steady
Why does America always have these problems ?
Its the government always attacking its own citizens.
Maybe Canada or Mexico can spare some eggs?
No they have unwashed eggs at least in Mexico. Those are safer but not allowed in the US.
FAKE SHORTAGE 🥚🚨🚨🚨ALERT 🥚
Egg prices in other countries are a fraction of the cost.
Why hasn't Trump addressed the issue of Bird Flu, the high cost of eggs and how he will "bring down prices immediately" as promised? He is focused on annexing Greenland, seizing the Panama Canal, making Canada a state, and taking over Gaza. How are those actions going to help American consumers and deal with the potential threat of another pandemic?
How long does it take to replace the hundreds of millions of laying chickens the last administration killed for no legitimate reason. Bird flu, unless it been modified, has not been transmitted to humans.
How come every time Trump gets in office there is a "pandemic"?
@ Almost like someone has it engineered to happen. I would like to state who is the most probable suspects, but YT doesn’t like the truth, even suspected, to come out.
This is nothing new 🤣🤪🤪🤪
Is the bird flu not affecting roasters (chickens raised to be eaten)? It seems like this should also be affecting retail chicken supply and market prices. Anybody know?
Broiler chickens are butchered at an average of 3-5 months old making it easier for for those flocks to avoid an outbreak.
@ Thank you for answering my question!
Natural chickens only lay 10 to 20 eggs a year. Eggs would normally be seasonal and the chickens still don't do well over producing eggs. They are just taking this normal low season where the chickens should be resting and trying to recycle it for other uses like spreading false belief systems. The roaster chickens can be frozen and only live 41 days where as the egg laying hens are pushed for around 72 weeks before they are expired.
That trolley full of eggs... Do American supermarkets not limit sales to a customer to make it fair. This is what happens in Europe, so everyone has a chance!
KFC still have plenty of chicken. I don't see a shortage of chickens on the Costco grille. Hmmmm. Something is rotten and it isn't an egg. At any rate. We keep chickens and have for 30years. No egg shortage at our house. Woof!
Fake news.
Don't include me! I am NOT "desperate" for eggs! There are 100 OTHER things I can eat!
Chicken in general is highly contaminated, and factory farming is neither humane or sanitary. This reminds me of the toilet paper rush during COVID. So how would prices be lowered? Make the chickens live in even worse conditions? Pay farmers?
Why don't we import eggs from other countries?
Find a country farm. They usually run on honor policy. Dozen eggs usually $3.00
we need to give the healthscare industry more money and power I think ..how could we ever survive without them?
How about ducks?
Upstate New York farm had to euthanize over 100,000 ducks a couple weeks ago.
@danrich6448 Are we keeping the owls?
@@danrich6448 all for no reason
It's a good thing to have a small flock of your own chickens these days, if you have the means (space, where you live)
Fake senario , ive got 20 birds zero problems.. zero shortage here..😊
You do realize that you are not the entire U.S., RIGHT?
They had eggs on sale at my store because ppl aren't buying them 🙄🙄
I dont eat eggs or anything that has eggs in it. Allergic.
We are not desperate for eggs stop lying
Yeah, let’s take a vantage of the shortage by raising the prices the American way
TRUMP is going to have a easter egg hunt at Mara lago the whole us public is invited!
"Hatching" plots to steal them....i see what you did there 😏
Trump made America great but no eggs😢😢😢
