Regarding Range Rovers, we got 1992 county LWB (here in the US) which my late wife considered the best car she had ever owned, for reasons that included the ride, the outward visibility, comfort front and rear, and overall capability. It was so unfortunate that the build quality was so absurdly bad! On the way home from picking it up new from the dealer, the air suspension died, the rear doors wouldn’t latch, so we had to tie them closed with rope as our daughters sat in the back on a road trip, the rust was pervasive, and on and on…if it had been as well-made as it was designed, we’d still have it today! Thanks for your engaging videos!
The L322 seems to be a mandatory car for automotive UA-camrs for one, but also jokes aside, if you like them, then it’s perfectly justified. Cars are supposed to be a passion, and so if you want it and can afford to buy and maintain it, then do it! Life is too short for “I wish I’d bought ‘x’…” I take the JayEmm philosophy to cars; I’m an enthusiast, and I want to enthuse with other enthusiasts. Your choice may not be what I like, but I will still enjoy talking about our shared passion. Anything less is not a true Petrol Head.
High peak autos loves them and he drives so many cars. And as he says when first bought new for first few years are well maintained. Then as they depreciate and get older . They tend to be well less looked after .
It's funny. I drive a van during the day for my business, and a BMW 330e in my own time. When driving my Van, BMW drivers never let me through, yet van drivers do. However, when I'm in my BMW, van drivers never let me through, but other luxury car owners do. It's definitely an us and them situation.
get a boxster S, I don't know why some people look down on them. excellent car. I have a 911 too and the Boxster gives a different experience. good idea to progress through the models.
Sometimes we buy with our heart not our head, the feel good factor can't be explained. Life is short, do what makes you happy. Love your videos Lucy, please keep them coming, you look great driving a Range Rover.
I know they are not for everyone but its one of the joys of driving a Morris Minor. Couldn't be more popular if you smothered it in puppies & icecreams.
Had 5 BMW, old 5 series, new 2 series and three new 4 series. Nothing exotic but good performance, comfortable, reliable. Each one when driving, I get racers always trying to challenge, not interested. Had many other cars, maybe just a BMW thing, just antagonises others. As for indicators, I need to signal always since all fitted with lane stab, so need to signal to change lanes or even just to pass parked vehicles. I’ve always over signalled, it’s just common sense to let others what you are doing. Maybe it’s just others perception of BMW drivers.
I've done many thousands of miles in 3 Series, 5 Series and 6 Series. All fantastic cars and never experienced any issues. Of course, I also tend to use my indicators too.
In the US right now, the Tesla Cyber Truck is the most hated vehicle. George and I chatted when you first bought the Range Rover, and I did say "when they work, the Range Rover is great. That's when it works".
I saw a Cyber Truck in the US a few months ago and I was blown away by their size. Most times, the big ol' Ford 250's and their ilk seem well-proportioned on US roads, but not that monster!
I have a range rover sport 2015,had it 3 months and love it ,I recognise some of the places as live in Hove, look forward to see what you do with your car,and yes your right nobody wants to let you out at junctions etc.
As a car I'd 100% recommend a Boxster (as someone who hasn't driven either tbf lol). People complained they were too similar to the 911 when they launched but they were (and are) way cheaper. Says it all really. The best argument for a 996 is that you can find plenty that have had engine rebuilds and IMS bearings sorted and there's the headroom to buy one that needs it done, whereas Boxsters just get scrapped when the bore scoring starts. Plus there's the Turbo.
Ok. People don't like you? Hard to imagine. You guys car choices are on definitely point! I may be a bit less neutral than most though. I completely & virtually purchased a 2010 Range Rover Supercharged L322 on line from Florida and had it shipped to me in Philadelphia Pa and had NEVER EVER experienced one in my life, except in my head, as it were, but I just knew! After taking delivery and sorting her out, I could'nt have been more right! The most incredibly amazing vehicle I've ever owned! I still feel, in a manner of speaking, the most privileged driving it as some of the envious glances I get whilst doing just that. People still double take her as if she was a new car. It's funny. I did however drop $4k into it early to properly sort it out. Air boxes, brakes, side step motor (driver), etc. She remains a proper steed indeed! I also bought, around the same time, (Pandemic purchases all Dec 2019), a dark blue/tan interior 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera C4S Cabriolet 6spd with over 140k on the clock in the most brilliant condition with 40 plus service records. Along with my cinnabar red 1986 Bmw M635CSI and a couple of other pieces, no need to purchase anything else...for now anyway. Lol! Keep posting the fantastic content! Most enjoyable to me! Thanks again!
I had a Skoda Superb Estate for 4 years, great car, very practical. Then, 2 years ago, upgraded to an Audi A4 Avant. Ever since I got it, people rarely let me out, or to merge in front of them. And I always always get people driving right up my backside and wanting to race me.
Around where I live I see many full fat range rovers and Sports where the driver is using a hand held phone. How flippin’ hard is it to pair a phone to a Rangie 😮. I drive an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and I get loads of courtesy and admiring glances. Perhaps consider one of there rather than a Porsche
Not religious but this came to mind whilst listening about the reactions of others to your car "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
I am not a fan of Range Rovers. I got burned with them WAY too many times till I switched to Toyota. But surely your car choice is up to you? I certainly dont hate Range Rovers, they are the best drive around imho. I just couldn't live with the unreliability. I fully understand why people love them. Hating someone else's car is just sad. Drive what you want to drive!
Ive just bought a Discovery 3 and wondered why i waited so long to buy a land rover... cant beleive i didnt get one earlier. we have a range rover classic thats being restored but if i didnt need 7 seats i would of got an l322! dont worry what people say... enjoy!
Get a 987 Boxster base but make sure the computers under the seats are dry and it's not rusty where the positive battery cable goes through the "firewall".
I agree with you on the potential "hate" aspect that is also fed by the way that some drivers drive. I had a fully specified Porsche 911 C4S 997 and it was a brilliant drive, but heavy on depreciation and I found out within 20mins just how bad UK roads were. I drove it across Europe where the roads and speed limits were significantly better and it was a marvel at high speeds. As a Porsche driver I would split the haters and likers 50/50, it's just what it is.
Buy what you want, you didn’t buy every Land Rover product before getting the L322,I had an L322 2012 4.4tdv8 and I loved it, was never a money pit, it cost me about £1,000 a year to maintain and I used a great specialist called Rovertune in reading and they are fantastic any time they recommended something I had it carried out so never had a big bill, a few little bills and I miss that car, would have another but I think I would have the 5.0 next time. Buy the 911 it sounds like that is deep down what your want and its more practical than the boxster everyone has there opinion but it is what you want that is important, you are the one spending the money. I prefer the 996 C4S over the gen 1 997 and you can add apple car play to both I believe through Porsche for not a lot of money and it keeps it looking original looking while giving all the modern benefits. Porsche are great with giving updates to older models. Which ever Porsche you decide to go for you wont be disappointed.
If you want a Range Rover, 996, 997 or whatever, buy it and enjoy it! And as a BMW Z4 driver, I agree! Some other drivers get the red mist about me being in a BMW, while driving like they think BMW drivers drive! 🙄 Great videos, love the RR!
I am the only person in my family that is ABSOLUTELY ADORES LOVES BATS about Range Rover's, especially the Vogue. I was in a friend's 2020 Range Rover petrol electric hybrid and it was WOW MY GOD
They're hated beside x5s and Q7s because they tend to be driven like the lunatics in boy racer cars but with more selfishness, bolshiness, stupidity, arrogance, entitlement, clumsiness often right up your tail and two damn fast despite being over 2+1/2 tons and double or treble a normal fuel bill.
It’s a great car Lucy and regardless of my last comment, keep up with the blogs. Only those with chips on their shoulders are critical of RR’s and BMW.
Hi there, I had a BMW 2 Series convertible last year I never had any trouble people being weird about it at all . And as for the Range Rover maybe it's just a jealousy thing when I see a young woman driving a nice car that's usually the root of it all so I wouldn't let it worry too much...cheers Phil from Newark
Buy a 987 cayman absolute bargains, get the 2.7 Manuel no ims or bore scoring and handles better than the 911. I did 2 years ago and still love it, I would recommend jr motor company 👍
I am a big believer in karma, and I always try to be courteous to other road users, so perhaps their perception will change just a little. A lot of road users don’t like motorcycles (I’ve experienced vehicles including a lorry, aim for me - I had a lorry travelling in the opposite direction actually clip and break the rear indicator on a honda transalp) and so I do the same when riding, let cars out of junctions etc.. I do the same when driving my L405, let other cars out of junctions etc
Ignore the comments about a boxter or a cayman being a “poor man’s Porsche “. Mid engine cars drive better and if you go for a 987.2 boxter / cayman then the engine doesn’t suffer from the IMS, RMS, bore scoring issues. Cars from 2009 onwards. You also have the option of the PDK gearbox.
Never ever let a Micra driver in...you know they'll go at 25mph and slow down at every corner....except my mate who borrowed his missus' car and gave me a lift...who knew a 1 litre eggbox could be so ******* scary.
@@tristanboler2782 bought mine just after “It’s Joel” did the Scotland and back on a tank challenge. Still love it despite its greed for fuel around town. Long runs are quite economical for the size.

If you want a Range Rover that's your personal choice. 😊 I used to own a Rolls Royce , that's my personal choice 😊I've had a lots of 4 x 4s they are really cool 😎. I really fancy a Range Rover one day. 😊 Regarding the porsche 911 , I really fancy a 911 or a boxster ,I wasn't to sure about the space so I purchased a Audi tt as its similar size sports car and I absolutely love it. 😊😊😊😊 keep up the videos 😊😊
Hiya, yh your right Lucy, build up the cars you buy, not from the bottom, bottom, but from the high end of the bottom if that makes any sense 🤔 It's just you, your partner & the little ones & uz will then be able to follow & see the difference between the cars as they get more expensive & if there worth the extra money... Anywaz Tek care love the content 👍
997 or 987 Cayman/Boxster is the sweet spot! The interior is much better than the 996/986. Nothing wrong with a Boxster unless you need the small back seat for the kiddo.
Ignore what people say about boxsters not being a real porsche, it's usually people who've never had one! I've just bought a 986 boxster S... it is brilliant!! Go for it, but it will make you want a 911 though 😅
I have had 2 x L322 and a Disco. Common fault with these is all I heard… I vowed not to buy another until I win the lottery but I love love love them like no other… I’m driving a Merc e class coupe now for economy but my heart belongs to RRS all the way ❤
I reckon if you combine the two - Range Rover and BMW, ending up with something like the X6.. that has got to be the least likely car to be let out anywhere. So I do think that you're right that you're less likely to get let out in a BMW, even by other BMW drivers 😄 As you say, Mercedes seems OK in my experience. It's an interesting thing to pay attention to
I actually like the BMW M4 competition, however I wouldn't have one in this area, as you are completely right , BMW drivers are one of most hated drivers on road, I feel this is something that goes back to the 90's when they became the choice of the sales rep and company car driver, and you constantly find that it's always the BMW driver that speeds up inside lane of traffic queues and trys to push in or manoeuvres without the ability of being able to use indicators lol 😆, the art of being clarevoyant on road springs to mind when around them lots of people feel ...... As for Range rover, think that is just a sign of times with all the environmental issues, any 4x4 or large engine vehicle will attract bad press , I drive 5 litre lorry around Brighton delivering and amount of looks and comments I get, and that's a commercial vehicle doing a job lol 😂.... however, its what you like and feel about the cars at end of day, if you like them, then good on you, it's all good and makes life a lot more fun ❤
I drive a BMW 118D and have no problem with being let into traffic/or receiving abuse. Maybe Devonshire people are nicer 😅 Either way, loving your channel 🙌👏
There is a whole treatise to be written on cars and peoples' adverse reactions. I have driven 3 cars in a long driving career that I can say are the most hated cars I've ever owned. Number I - BMW 3 series - I have had more V signs directed at me in that car than any other. Audi 80 - not as extreme as the BMW but certainly wound people up and, finally, in my dotage I have a Honda Jazz hated for a completely different set of reasons. The MK4 Hybrid Jazz affords me endless scope for enraging people. It's 0 to 30 time will beat most cars given the electric motor gives instant torque. The lengths to which people go to overtake a Jazz is mind blowing. Finally, on Range Rovers - aren't they the original Chelsea Tractor? A lot of eco warriors hate them for that.
I would love a Range Rover Sport can afford one,but it would irritate the hell out of me paying the road tax and Insurance.A friend of mine has an SVR on a 70 plate his insurance has doubled he now has ghost fitted and still it’s very expencive
Definitely makes sense to get a Boxster first (for the Summer) or buy it cheaper in the Winter), then you can progress through the 911's, right up to the GT2 RS - you'll be on 1M subscribers by then ;)
Completely agree on the Boxster. I bought a 2013 Boxster back in 2015 to use as a daily driver as my 911 was getting too valuable. Still have the Boxster and wouldn't change it for a 911 as it is so much fun to drive. Add in the Bentley Continental (2006) with 24000 miles and my 2012 Range Rover Sport supercharged I am either in vehicle heaven or a complete masochist. Have all the usual issues on the RR (control arms, compressor, water pump etc) but after owning it for 8 years the annual cost is not too bad. Same for the Bentley and only regular maintenance on the Boxster. Go with what you love and enjoy it as long as you have the funds to take care of anything important. Only the Boxster goes to the dealer. We have a great Indy locally who does the other two at a reasonable cost.
Hi Lucy, you buy cars with your heart not with you head, just like me. Add a little practicality into the mix and you are there. As a car person knows, you buy what you love, or else you wouldn't drive it. I have a Discovery Sport, people say they are unreliable too. I love it. I also have an e93 BMW 335i (convertible) roof up people hate me, roof down and its the opposite. I had a 987 Boxster S but as you have a little one, if you can budget for the 911. Take care folks.
My previous vehicle was an old ranger pick-up. Very versatile until it came to parking in a supermarket. Changed it for a discovery 2 which I must admit is the easiest car I have ever driven, (and that's a lot), but hated with a passion by every other road user. But do I care?
Personal observation (as a BMW driver) is that A Class drivers are the worst in general and Range Rovers (particularly Evoques) almost always lane hog on the motorway 😂
I have heard a lot of people don’t like Audi drivers but I know that stereotypes have been created towards people that drive certain cars and just because you drive one of those cars like a range Rover or a BMW or a Audi or whatever you have doesn’t mean people should be disrespectful and rude towards those people It just shows how people aren’t very kind to each other these days.
Hi Lucy . I have an L322 2010 3.6 TD V8 . Paid under £2000. for it at an auction. The front suspension had dropped . Oh no ! Broken height sensor £90. Sorted . 10 months in , had a cold evening and noticed the heater doesn’t work . Anyone have any ideas . Love the car . Every one tells me to get rid of it. Just like the 20 year old Jaguar XJ I was keeping for a year ……or 7 oops
I had a mercedes 250 cabriolet and I've never had so much hate shown towards me in 51 years of driving. There's definitely a psychological aspect to this road rage thing Lucy. I have a Lexus NX300h right now and drivers become IMPATIENT, even though I might be driving right up to the speed limit. They must see the Lexus as an old man's car? Get out of the way you old git. I guess they thought I was a ladies hair dresser in the white mercedes cabriolet, or they were spitting venom at me. Rich bastard or something? There's definitely a Mindset Connection going on. Take a lot of no notice like I do! 😊👍😂💜
Hi Lucy I have a Range Rover 494 and did not think I would ever want one in fact hated them for many years until I brought this one I have had it for about 6 weeks now and totally get why you are pulled back too them I can say best drive I have ever had and as I was a car salesman for 12 years I have had a lot of cars over the years as for people not being kind on .the road I have not had that so far but as for BMW it’s a well known fact that they are push in merchants and I am better than you drivers that do not dive way when they should,I am not saying you are like that but this is most peoples experiences and as a auto engineer I at this time do not think Range rovers are poor on reliability I .think it comes down to how they have been looked after thanks for your channel we enjoy it
Are you still looking for a boxter or 911, have you thought about popping to 911 sport in horncastle, they have the best prepared cars in my opinion and may have something you are looking for 🙂
I don't have an issue with range rovers, only people who can't drive them like doing 40mph on a 60 and blocking traffic when there's plenty of room to get past that parked car
By the way. Don't buy a Boxter first!!! After I bought mine every time I drove it I had Jeremy Clarkson's voice in my head "Boxters are for people who can't afford a 911". So after spending a lot of money maintaining it plus always being disappointed with it I ended up selling and bought a 911 C4S (996). Which is superb, and which I will never sell.
yep, have a 996 4s manual and although i drive a couple of high end models i still love the raw sound and the direct connection to the road of my 996 and enjoy every drive in it.
Not even Clarkson listens to Clarkson . But what your heart tells you . Those are the ones you remember . The cars you buy with your head you can forget while still behind the wheel. For example . When picking friends up from an airport one day , they asked what car I was in. I looked at the steering wheel badge and told them it was a Nissan. They asked what model and I told them it was a Nissan grey thing. I genuinely didn’t know . I have just text said thing to ask what make it was lol
If you like it and it gives you enjoyment, DRIVE IT, the unreliability chant is BS. If it has wheels it has the potential to cost you money. It is a pretty safe vehicle, better than most.
Possibly the shaking head in the lane situation was because the other person thought that you were driving a car that was way too large for the lane? I.e. smaller cars would pass easier and then you are there half in the field because it’s too big? Let’s be honest, most people can’t justify the need for a car as large as the Rangey. It’s arguably exactly what’s wrong with the way that cars have gone in the last 10 years - oversized, over weight and inefficient.
@@LucyOnCarswe have 14 vehicles, I am 45 live in Florida.. Drive a Ferrari, Maserati, corvette, Porsche, Volvo (XC 90) love it! 3 Mercedes’ 5 Trans Am’s. Some others. No kids just a 14 stone Boerboel dog. And there is no way being that I have a dog now that I’d drive a 100,000 mile plus Range “ROVER”!! How unreliable they notoriously are. Being that at practically any time… a Range Rover vehicle would break down with your child in the back. I don’t know how you can own a R.R. Recently Justin Bieber in a new low miles Range Rover broke down in a ghetto neighborhood and waited with criminals until the car could be fixed in the hood. The video is posted.. so you can see for yourself …Why you’d want one….. @@LucyOnCars once you drive a real landcruiser you wot go back to range rover,,have a look at the 200 series LC 4.5 diesel, I have one for a year now after owning all the other models and its Amazing with no break downs
Very odd. I am amazed how many Mercedes drivers (don't call them owners aa they're nearly all on PCPs 😂) give way to me, and how many people give you a respectful look when you arrive somewhere and get out of a vehicle that positively reeks old money, but with the capability to leave their grotty little Nissan trailing in its wake! In short, if you're developing a complex about driving a vehicle others can only aspire to, then it's YOUR complex - not theirs! Stand (or sit!) tall young lady and put the peasants in their place!! 😂
RR are no less unreliable than any other equivalent car. I’ve owned a few and only one had issue, I’ve had more issues with so called reliable brand. Hopefully in a week or two I’ll be buying my next RR probably a L405. I wouldn’t worry what everyone thinks there are good and bad drivers in all brands of cars.
Key there and why they give trouble is there drop to school cars diesel engines with egrs short runs are engine killers delete the egrs to save your turbos service your gear box every 40k when you change your oil use castrol and service it every 6k every brand is rubbish now there all breaking if you want a car with out trouble get a 95 corolla or toyota carina other then that just look after what you have the rite way iv a range rover sport
The Multipla was pretty universally loved to be fair. Ugly, yes, but amazingly capable. Something like a Q7 would be my pick. Huge with no redeeming features, they've just not great cars. L322 are great cars but expensive and complicated so you need to maintain therm properly.
I’d challenge people to drive one, they will then realize why. And all cars break, would you never buy the car of your dreams just in case it breaks 🤷🏻♂️
Only greens really hate big SUVs. Other drivers look at Range Rovers and laugh. We laugh because, if the Range Rover is driven a man, he has a tiny willy. The SUV is a replacement for his personal disadvantages. When driven by a lady, if that lady has five kids and ten horses, then she needs something that size. If driven by a lady without a big family, she bought it on finance and can only scrape the monthly lease costs by living off Pot Noodles. Men avoid this lady as a financial train crash. Sorry, but that is what other drivers think.
For me it’s about appreciating each car for what they are and not peaking too early. I love the idea of working up to the 997 and experiencing all of it!

I drive an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and I get loads of courtesy and admiring glances. Perhaps consider one of there rather than a Porsche
Lucy, you now need to get yourself a Gap iid tool, best diagnostic there is for Range Rover. A must have.
Not religious but this came to mind whilst listening about the reactions of others to your car
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
Tesla’s must be one of the most hated cars on the road!
Teslas...
Agreed a certain arrogance surrounding them!
More the drivers than these ugly IKEA designed plastic things...
No, Toyota Prius drivers 😂
It’s all down to jealousy you’re driving one of the best cars around and if I may be so bold you’re a young, smart and attractive need I say more.
Definitely suits her very much
Definitely suits her very much
Lol
And as for the Range Rover maybe it's just a jealousy thing when I see a young woman driving a nice car that's usually the root of it all so I wouldn't let it worry too much...cheers Phil from Newark
we went near there we went to ardingly show ground for south of england show, great video
Interesting. I assume it’s the fact that the RRs are so common in the UK. I have a 2011 RRS and it gets a lot of priority in traffic in RO.
I'm saving up for a second hand pushbike.
Still running my L322 tdv8 30 months now and never needed a breakdown truck
Snap! 39 months in...👍
@@tristanboler2782 bought mine just after “It’s Joel” did the Scotland and back on a tank challenge. Still love it despite its greed for fuel around town. Long runs are quite economical for the size.
@@keithvers569 ah nice, May '21 for me. 4.4 TDV8 AB had 107k, now 124k. Yes know what you mean about fuel. It's not my daily so not an issue, mainly used for long holiday trips and odd local run if need 2nd car. Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI for daily, from a space perspective it has better rear leg room and bigger boot than the L322. L322 is however far more comfortable and power on tap is awesome 😎 enjoy!
@@tristanboler2782 mine is my daily, seems to do 18 -20mpg round town and 35mpg on long runs. Did a 400 mile trip last week on 85 quid in diesel, no issues or problems.
@@keithvers569 nice, we did The Lakes and back few weeks ago, 800miles return - 31mpg. Locally it's around 26mpg. Got rear arch liners out this weekend applying Lanoguard.👍
The interior of that car is amazing. Silver wheels would look great and less gangsta
Hi Lucy great video for me personally the Range Rover is the safest vehicle on the road 👍❤️
Love the RR keep up the content.
I concur Lucy.
Love, hate with the l322
Hate the fact that you need the AA on speed dial.
Love... everything else about them.
100%!
I drive a BMW 118D and have no problem with being let into traffic/or receiving abuse. Maybe Devonshire people are nicer 😅
Either way, loving your channel 🙌👏
Depends what groups you're on about. In the car community the Nissan Juke is easily the highest everyone hates them
I drive various cars and the public perception does vary dependent of the car I’m in.
I would love a Range Rover Sport can afford one,but it would irritate the hell out of me paying the road tax and Insurance.A friend of mine has an SVR on a 70 plate his insurance has doubled he now has ghost fitted and still it’s very expencive
Yea
My wife used to always be let out at junctions in our Landrover Defender 1987 110 County.
I have a ford ranger and people seem to hate that as well. I'm still aiming for a range rover. One day , hopefully
My previous vehicle was an old ranger pick-up. Very versatile until it came to parking in a supermarket. Changed it for a discovery 2 which I must admit is the easiest car I have ever driven, (and that's a lot), but hated with a passion by every other road user.
But do I care?
I've just changed my transit custom for the new ranger and I'm definitely seeing a diffrence
Personal observation (as a BMW driver) is that A Class drivers are the worst in general and Range Rovers (particularly Evoques) almost always lane hog on the motorway 😂
Well, it wouldn't be a car channel if you weren't pushing a new energy drink😂
I have heard a lot of people don’t like Audi drivers but I know that stereotypes have been created towards people that drive certain cars and just because you drive one of those cars like a range Rover or a BMW or a Audi or whatever you have doesn’t mean people should be disrespectful and rude towards those people It just shows how people aren’t very kind to each other these days.
Drug traders luv em
As long as you are happy with the Car that's all that matters
Don't apologise for the two year old.. it's a joy!
As long as you love it, that's all that matters.
haha i am going to get a Range and I've been driving BMWs so yes hated on all fronts it seems
Boxter is a better buy than 911 mid engine so better balanced and much more for your cash.
Hey Dadcars has shown kids can feature in car content no problem haha
😊👍😂💜
Hi Lucy I have a Range Rover 494 and did not think I would ever want one in fact hated them for many years until I brought this one I have had it for about 6 weeks now and totally get why you are pulled back too them I can say best drive I have ever had and as I was a car salesman for 12 years I have had a lot of cars over the years as for people not being kind on .the road I have not had that so far but as for BMW it’s a well known fact that they are push in merchants and I am better than you drivers that do not dive way when they should,I am not saying you are like that but this is most peoples experiences and as a auto engineer I at this time do not think Range rovers are poor on reliability I .think it comes down to how they have been looked after thanks for your channel we enjoy it
The L494 rocks
Peak water cooled Porsche is the 997 era in my opinion, more so than the 991 and 992 versions. Go Cayman 987, then 996 then 997.
Are you still looking for a boxter or 911, have you thought about popping to 911 sport in horncastle, they have the best prepared cars in my opinion and may have something you are looking for 🙂
I have a 2009 Mercedes C220CDI (W204). Should I get it remapped?
Hola Lucy, how many cars do you own?
I only watch because I love Range Rovers
Possibly the shaking head in the lane situation was because the other person thought that you were driving a car that was way too large for the lane?
I.e. smaller cars would pass easier and then you are there half in the field because it’s too big?
Let’s be honest, most people can’t justify the need for a car as large as the Rangey. It’s arguably exactly what’s wrong with the way that cars have gone in the last 10 years - oversized, over weight and inefficient.
Hi,I work in motor trade and driven loads of range rover, I like them to drive and look gd,but I would never buy one,gd luck
We are different we love them we get them, they are jealeous
Really Lucy?? I find it’s the other way!! People get out the way of my Range Rover and get let in every time!!! 😂😊
I’m jealous!😂
yes they want you to get home and not block the road when it breaks down
Same here, specially Mercs for some reason
Must be because the English are so proud of their heritage that would think driving a high mileage Range Rover would be a good idea.
Audi drivers are the most hated.. for good reasons..
How about a feature on a Land Cruiser?
That would be great!
I wouldn’t worry what everyone thinks there are good and bad drivers in all brands of cars.
you never tried a 200 series landcruiser then
Great cars L322's. Peak Range Rover
How do you know it’s a spider bite?
A boxster is a better car than a 911 on uk roads, you can’t enjoy the power of a 911 it’s too powerful, a boxster you can really enjoy
This is the most hated car? I would have thought the Fiat Multipla would take that place on a worldwide scale.
The Multipla was pretty universally loved to be fair. Ugly, yes, but amazingly capable. Something like a Q7 would be my pick. Huge with no redeeming features, they've just not great cars. L322 are great cars but expensive and complicated so you need to maintain therm properly.
If you had a Multipla, you loved it. If you just had to look at it, you hated it 😂
I’d challenge people to drive one, they will then realize why.
And all cars break, would you never buy the car of your dreams just in case it breaks 🤷🏻♂️
It's not a spider bite, no spider in the UK has the strong enough mandibles to break human skin; probably a bed loouse.
Boxter, then 996, then 997? What a bizarre notion. People would only make that progression for financial reasons.
For me it’s about appreciating each car for what they are and not peaking too early. I love the idea of working up to the 997 and experiencing all of it!
The range rover is my favourite toxic relationship.
For real!
i prefer range rover videos they are more adventurous
Love hate relationship with them the nicest 4x4 you will drive
