SIMPLE Solo Canoe Trip - P1- Little Margaret Lake HHWT -Thanksgiving 2023

Every year, I head out on a big Thanksgiving trip, and I have issues with the weather. This year, I decided to change things up and head out for a shorter trip, picking the best weather days of the weekend. I decided to camp on Little Margaret Lake, in the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails. I''d booked this lake 3 times previously, and had never made it there. This time, I would. I decided to bring a Thanksgiving dinner to cook on the fire, but when I arrived at my reserved campsite, I realized it wouldn't suit my needs, and I would have to figure out an alternative plan. Eventually, even with the surprise pouring rain, everything worked out, and I ended up having a great little adventure. I hope you enjoy this weeks video. Cheers!
